Rosemary Stoker - this journal - Ribbonfin senior, prefect, aaand it looks like he's into hockey? Rosy's co-running intramural hockey this winter! Rosy is a tightly wound ball of anger and overprotectiveness who will kick your ass if you step out of line, but only because she's trying to save you from yourself.

Jefferson Key - racingstripe - Azurcrest junior, Quidditch Chaser, Wizard Lit TA, and just bundle of sunshine. He's like a golden retriever except 6'2" and even better at hugs.

Dinah Dixon - dinahdanger - Coppertale sophomore, Quidditch reserve, and just, like... weird. The sophomore class is weird. She bolds things a lot and draws comic books about herself-slash-people-at-this-school-but-mostly-herself.

Austin McNamara - soundscaped - Ebonhide junior, local acoustic guitar playing kid. He's whiny and there's an ongoing joke that he has hookworms because he doesn't like to wear shoes. Maybe it's not a joke, maybe he actually has hookworms. Either way, he's going to whine about it.

Lucas Kowalski (bubblewrapped) is a junior Azurcrest. He is also from Georgia! But he is a muggleborn. He is the Charms TA and a huge dork/perky goth. Lucas is a gifted wizard but not good at much else. He will be shy and awkward but friendly enough with Tristan!

Yancey Montgomery (hotdish) is a Ribbonfin senior, so he's a tiny bit in Tristan's orbit. He's LARP prez and a cheerleader. He also likes hockey, so, not really an ice skater but decent on the ice.

Antonia Papadakis (heyitsnia) is an Ebonhide senior and head girl. She is here if you ever need a prefect!

Nisha Lewis (godzillabutworse) is a Coppertale soph and quidditch chaser. She is a small demon and although there's not a lot of overt overlap I'm sure she will harass Tristan sometime.

Hi Anya!!! I'm Meggie, aaaand if you found the game via tumblr, you probably found it through me! :) I'm one of the mods and I have... a lot of characters.

Most relevant to Tristan is Calvin Evercreech (this journal), who's his roommate! Calvin's abrasive, gloomy and unpleasant, but he's come a long way from the bully he was in years past at Hogwarts. He's a former Slytherin, and just made the Quidditch team this year as a Beater. He's a little softer with his roommates, so Tristan wouldn't have had to deal with his worst behavior for going on two years now. If Tristan can deal with his difficuly personality, Calvin's a loyal, endlessly supportive friend. He's also an academic superstar and my resident overachiever.

Then there's Spencer Sweet (bitterlysweet), junior Coppertale. He's LOUD and friendly, but he's also kind of an overbearing dumbass. Spencer has a nearly eidetic memory, which is a small part of why he's so intense. He's on track to becoming a professional figure skater, though, so Tristan can probably join him and Ruby (his partner) and Madison for practice once the lake freezes.

Reid Wainwright (cygninae) is a senior Coppertale prefect, and the Coppertale team's Seeker. Reid is... cold and unfriendly, at least on the surface. Really he's just super awkward and struggles to articulate himself. As a prefect he's firm but not especially harsh. He's a little hard to get to know, sadly, but he'll be nice enough to Tristan. :(

Mackenzie Prince (princeprincess) is a senior Azurcrest prefect. She's part mean girl, part wannabe femme fatale and part class clown. Now that she has ~responsibilities~ she's eased up a lot on her mean girling, but she's still the defacto Alpha Bitch a lot of the time. She's probably teased Tristan in the past, and clearly enjoys making people a little uncomfortable. She's the heiress to a highly successful wand repair business, and is one half of a questionable blueblood power couple with Ulysses Quayle.

Archimedes Rose (cherubic) is a tiny Ebonhide sophomore. Archie is a mini mad scientist, who infamously drugged, uh, all the upperclassmen with Amortentia last year. He was briefly suspended for that stunt, but doesn't feel that bad about it. While he's supposedly sworn off drugging his classmates, he's still an eccentric kid who has no issues with human experimentation. He also has a tendency to develop brief crushes on people and then... stalks them. Hopefully Tristan won't need to worry about him too much!

Aw, I think Calvin and Tristan are bunkmates sorta? (I signed him up for Bed E in the cabin post, haha. Prepare for dirty socks inexplicably in your bed, Calvin.) And Tristan's a pretty mellow, low maintenance sort of friend; I think they'll get on famously.

I have two words for Spencer: ILL-ADVISED DEATH SPIRALS. Okay, that's more than two words, but the sentiment applies ALL THE SAME.

Cole Moss - (This guy!) Junior Ribbonfin and Tristan's roomie! He's a space cadet artist type that's naturally gifted when it comes to magic and academics without really trying. While he's bright and generally a nice guy, he's socially awkward and terrible at reading people and overly honest. Just generally a bit of an oddball. He doesn't have much overlap with Tristan otherwise but given Tristan's first dislike, Cole may not be his favorite guy? OOHBOY. Sorry about that. But they both went to Ilvermorny, so they've probably known each other for a while and we can discuss more if you like!

Heathcliff Lacey - heathclifflacey Junior Coppertale and a Quidditch player. He's a big, dumb, excitable, impulsive, roughhousing jock with an interest in divination and gardening. People describe him as wholesome and he hates it. He generally likes people and chances are good that Tristan is fine by him even if they don't have much to do with each other.

Casper Kim - casperkim Senior Ebonhide, Quidditch player, and prefect. Casper's an angry, sarcastic, negative guy with a lot of baggage and aims of being an Auror. He's notoriously serious and prickly but actually has a pretty good heart under there.

Lachlan Galbraith - lachlangalbraith Senior Azucrest, Hogwarts transfer, and Hermeticism TA. Lachlan's smart, hard-working, focused, and loves to ~learn~. Unfortunately, he's also very tightly wound and has some anxiety issues and relies on his fellow birdies to make him have some fun now and again. He's in Outdoor Exploration (because he finds and especially bird watching very relaxing), so he may cross paths with Tristan from time to time!

Grace Sowerberry - gracesowerberry Sophomore Ribbonfin and (brand new) prefect. She's got aspirations of being an opera singer and has an amazing voice but is hopelessly shy and indecisive when she's not on stage. She's probably seen Tristan around because they're housemates and she's a brand new cheerleader who thinks he should join the squad, naturally~

So I have four. The most revelant is Evangeline Bagman. She's a junior ribbonfin. She's in at least one of his classes. She is new this year, she came from playing for the Gryffindor quidditch team, plus she's the daughter of the Ludo bagman and doesn't like to mention it. She's from east London and gets to have a cockney accent. Eve likes to build tiny robots.

Next relevant is Solomon Webb. He's a junior ebonhide and also on a quidditch team. He's from honduras and his native language is Spanish. He also has some classes in common and they're both in OE. Solo is like the gentlest creature that ever gentled. He won't say a mean word about anyone, he tries to hug cactuses Bc they're lonely etc etc. he's also a walking encyclopedia that likes to share random facts.

Olivia Sanchez is a senior coppertale prefect and less relevant. She's a junior boxer from New York. I'm pretty sure she's also in OE

Quentin Youngblood is a sophomore coppertale that will share whatever conspiracy that pops into his head at any given time. He's from a compound that survives predominantly off the grid. He's less relevant but he also unnecessarily comments on a lot of journal posts so he'll probably interact with Tristan regardless.

I am open to any and all kind of plot. I feel like all of mine but Quentin will at least be passably friendly and solo will behave as if he has been friends with tristan since birth just because that's his default.

Might flirt with him, tease him, give him hell, etc. I apologize profusely, she cannot be controlled.

Hi Anya! I'm Manx and I've managed to keep my set to one character per year for now!

Ursula de Luca (cecaelian) is my senior and she's in Ribbonfin. She's also an active member of the Event Committee and its president this year, so she's probably a familiar face, if nothing else. She's a friendly, prissy, recovering mean girl who really likes crowns. She's also in LARP if Tristan ends up joining that.

Estella "Essie" Morales-Tran (magitechnically) is my junior and she's in Azurcrest. She's also the Artificing TA and on the Quidditch team. She's loud, naive, and irresponsible but she's trying really hard to change that this year!!! They have a bit of class overlap and just by virtue of being a junior, Tristan is already one of Essie's 39 best friends.

Paris "Pear" Holloway (tartinedeflageolets) is my sophomore and she's an Ebonhide. She's a new prefect this year who's obsessed with unicorns and carnivorous plants. Tristan can relate to Ursula with the whole "liking crowns" thing; his mom is a former debutante/pageantesse. They have a lot of crowns and tiaras on display at home. It's almost sickening. It seems like social grace is not a gene that can be passed on, if Tristan is any indication.

Ruby Oberholtzer is a junior Ribbonfin like Tristan, and she's a French-speaking Canadian and figure skater (professional partners with Spencer Sweet). She's a bit of an unfriendly ice princess, very blunt and direct, and she.... probably doesn't like Tristan much LMFAO but if he likes being on the ice (and he's friends with Spencer), then she should be pretty familiar with him?

i am kay & i currently play 3 characters--

phineas bones, phin, is a hogwarts transfer from hufflepuff & currently a coppertale senior. he's a tinkerer and doodler, brain all over the place, a kinda careless eccentric kinda guy but capable of hard work etc. his mum is the last living daughter of edgar bones. somehow. he's also v good at transfiguration, putting things off until the last second, popping up in random places, and subtly (/not-so-subtly) making fun of people. phin is kind of treating this place like it's not real. i don't know how he'd know tristan, but they'll get along i think if they ever cross paths :d

i also play
jonathan wilde, aka wilde, destructobot! he is a senior ebonhide, keeper for the quidditch team, skateboarding gardener, secret poet and grudging keeper of a soft mushy heart. used to be quite prickly, still is a bit, but less of a jerk now. most often sighted near garden or greenhouse, or barreling down a path on his board. he's also v into OE, so tristan might know him that way!

madison ives, cupquake is most relevant i think! ribbonfin junior, cheer captain, etc. mads is a pureblood from a shady family (though she knows nothing of their shadiness, other pureblooded families certainly do). madison is, weirdly, extremely complicated -- but it doesn't look that way from the outside. she's kinda perky and responsible and soulless, v concerned w image, capable of questionable things, but loving toward friends & her cheer squad in particular. she loves ice skating and is decent at it??? maybe she and tristan can be buddies :D annnnd if there's any class tristan is particularly good at, expect that she's asked him for help w homework at least a million times (my girl must Work for her Grades to maintain that athletic scholarship)
