A Small Big Mistake

winterbottomHey friends! This is Lyss jumping on the last of the 6th character train with a nightmare.
This is Chad Winterbottom!! He’s a Coppertale Sophomore! He’s in Charms, Hermeticism, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration, Artificing, Astronomy, Defense against the Dark Arts. He is in OE, boating, archery, and EC because he wants to be cool. Here are some points:
Chad’s Bad!!! He’s a v spoiled child whose dad is a mover/shaker in Wizard Silicon Valley. He’s creating an integrated but secret magic internet. His stepmom does art for video games! Chad bribes a lot of people over to his house.
Went to Port Prep where he was obviously and painfully a nerd/bully fodder. He tried to reject this by talking back. It didn’t work. It still doesn’t work.
He tried to be cool by getting into sports and making predictions based on stats. He still keeps long records of Quid stats and has inevitably has more than one illegal betting pool shut down.
Loud! Mouthy! But a complete follower who will eat your 2 week old sandwich or drain his blood for your affection. He’s much more gentle around people who seem shyer than he is
He’s great at wizard chess but refuses to join gaming club because he’s still fighting hard against that nerd label. He’s in a bunch of outdoor activities that he’s bad at instead.

So I got this wrong in the actual hiatus post lol oops. I'm going to NYC as of Saturday the 7th and will be there until Friday the 13th! I'm seeing Hamilton and am so stupid excited. I'll still obviously have my phone, which is new and not held together by tape any longer. I will also allegedly have wifi in my air bnb. I will also also be hanging out with rpers who understand the burning need to be rude and check your phone every second at least some of the time. So I'll be aroundish, but in NYC where I will be doing things and thus not as here as normal!
So I'm posting this now in case you need to catch my people for anything before I go!! And please email if you want next week, I will always have that!

But we're really here for Ferdinand Ayers! He's from Lake Forest IL and went to the McGilliguddy Institute in Chicago, which is kind of like a nice k-8 wizard day school designed to ship kids to Ilvermorny. I like making up schools. So I made Leonardo Fiori for some balance. Leo is 17, Ebonhide Sr., Beater, CAPTAIN OF THE TEAM :D. He's from New Jersey. His brother failed out of auditions for Jersey Shore, true story. He was the oops baby of a family with 3 kids already. His parents both worked full time, and he grew up largely alone, so he got REALLY good at after-school Quidditch. And other sports. And anything he worked obsessively hard at, which is what he does to counteract the fact that he is often overlooked. His family loves him, but he's got it in his head that if he ever stopped achieving, they'd be less proud. So now he's like a shark, and if he stops moving, he'll probably die.
And THAT is why he has picked literally the hardest stuff to do at a school he's already here on a Quidditch scholarship for! He got it in his head that he wanted to be both an Auror and animagus, so that's what he is working toward now with not so great results yet, on top of leading the Quidditch team. His obsessiveness DOES bleed down to his leadership style, ty for asking, but he's surprisingly not a dick about it. He's generally tough, but not aggressive, and when he burns out he disappears for a long time. SO PLEASE give him friends and things and enemies and people who think he's crazy, or just want his brother's picture from 6 years ago to see how Jersey he was? ANYTHING?

My name is Lyss at troll, I live in Wisconsin where I work a lot but it's mostly an 8-5 type deal, and if this person looks like someone you have seen before I am shamelessly duplicating Libby from ~olympics BECAUSE I MISSED HER and this game looked so fun :(
SO THAT ASIDE!
This is Adeline Foster-Hayes, but you can only call her Addy; please. She's an Azurcrest Junior and she used to be an Ilvermorny Thunderbird. She's from Virgina, where her parents are both pillars of their communities. Both sides come from hefty Southern tradition; her dad's a Muggle judge in Richmond, and her mom's family is well-known, if not pureblood. She has an older and younger sister, and they are much better at managing family tradition and upholding honor and such.
Addy, meanwhile, is a hot mess. She's good at Potions, which is why she got into this school even a little bit, but otherwise her focus is DECIDEDLY not on academics. She's too busy Having Fun and Saying Yes and Flirting with Everyone and Getting Really Really Wasted. She's kind of a colorful whirlwind and has come really close to crashing two cars. Whoops. So as you might imagine, she spends a lot of time in detention and has ABSOLUTELY failed out of classes. She doesn't really care, though. She's extremely flighty when it comes to friends, and has a lot of surface-level ones, but is even more extremely devoted to the few who are close. And she can get very Southern/passive-aggressive when mad.
The one thing this year you may notice is that she is not sleeping around/making out with everything that breathes (!!!!) because she has a boyfriend, details to be added when he is in :D BUT YES I am sorry about her, she is ridiculous, PLOTS OF ALL KINDS PLEASE!
