HI GUUUYS it's Lyss again, because I have Addy, but I wanted another one to balance out all the you know, Addy.

So I made Leonardo Fiori for some balance. Leo is 17, Ebonhide Sr., Beater, CAPTAIN OF THE TEAM :D. He's from New Jersey. His brother failed out of auditions for Jersey Shore, true story. He was the oops baby of a family with 3 kids already. His parents both worked full time, and he grew up largely alone, so he got REALLY good at after-school Quidditch. And other sports. And anything he worked obsessively hard at, which is what he does to counteract the fact that he is often overlooked. His family loves him, but he's got it in his head that if he ever stopped achieving, they'd be less proud. So now he's like a shark, and if he stops moving, he'll probably die.

And THAT is why he has picked literally the hardest stuff to do at a school he's already here on a Quidditch scholarship for! He got it in his head that he wanted to be both an Auror and animagus, so that's what he is working toward now with not so great results yet, on top of leading the Quidditch team. His obsessiveness DOES bleed down to his leadership style, ty for asking, but he's surprisingly not a dick about it. He's generally tough, but not aggressive, and when he burns out he disappears for a long time. SO PLEASE give him friends and things and enemies and people who think he's crazy, or just want his brother's picture from 6 years ago to see how Jersey he was? ANYTHING?

ok obvsly he and nate have overlaps. they are both trying to be the very best, like no one ever was. BOTH IN ANIMAGUS STUDIES! nate gets all stressed out and in his head about shit, and when he does he gets all >:[ and ocd about things, which totally happened last year and is going to happen this year. THEY CAN HAVE MATCHING ROOMIE BURNOUTS AT MIDTERMS OR FINALS TIME LOL FUN. WE SHOULD BRAINSTORM THEIR INTERACTIONS. OR JUST HAVE THEM INTERACT IDC I'M ALSO GOOD WITH PLAYING IT BY EAR.

AND ROBIN is the other senior boy, and he also wants to be an auror, even though he's DEFINITELY NOT ACADEMICALLY GIFTED. he has probably either tried to borrow notes from leo or cheats off him. CHEATING IS AN ACCEPTABLE WAY TO PASS THESE CLASSES OKAY. he will be the dick who thinks he's funny at him. :]

AND THEN THERE'S MY JUNIOR GIRLS. riley has next to no overlap with him, but she might just be a butt in his general direction. and rosy is in duelling with him?

Okay but yes, he will actually really appreciate Nate's existence in his dorm/life, though I think he PROBABLY hated him a little at first. Just because here's this smart guy with some of the same goals Leo does and JUST AS DRIVEN, aka INSTANT MORTAL ENEMIES. But then I think over the years he's cooled down a lot and probably Nate's hyper-driven self helps kind of mirror back at Leo what the hell he must look like. So now he'd really like him and they should ABSOLUTELY check each other's burnouts. Or make them worse...?

He probably has given Robin fake notes before to teach him a lesson and would tell him in no uncertain terms to BACK OFF HIS SHIT if he ever caught him cheating, though. HE WORKED HARD ON THIS. But other than that he will be cool...

He will absolutely be a butt back, and he'd like Rosy well enough and so will be friendly as he ever is!

Anyway~ Yay for Leo! Apart from the fact that both of them are seniors, Cecil and Leo have very little overlap. But Cecil is Cecil and he'll definitely be friendly toward him, be supportive of his hard work and overachievement, and may try to get him to take a breath from time to time. Because it seems like somebody should. Cole has even less overlap with him, being a baby Ribbonfin, and maaaay be the kind of guy that he doesn't like since he lives in his own head (imaginaaaaation) and doesn't have to work very hard to do well in things?

Casper, though, probably sees Leo a lot more since he's an Ebonhide, a member of his Quidditch team, a fellow Dueler, and an aspiring Auror. He's still his prickly and highly negative self to Leo, but I imagine that he appreciates (a) the fact that he's not the kind of captain Sy is, (b) that he works hard and has admirable goals, and (c) likes LOUD MUSIC. So. He probably likes Leo as much as he likes anybody. Friends-ish, maybe?

Sadly, none of mine probably appreciate the Jersey Shore thing. XD

Casper likes you Sy, but if he was on your Quidditch team he'd have to punch you in your overly competitive face pretty much weekly. ;)

He probably has a weird resentment towards Cecil for being chosen as Head Boy. (YES HE KNOWS that usually the Quidditch Captain is not Head Boy and he had no qualifications) But Cecil's so nice that he can't really be a dick at him just because of that, so he'd be kind of nice. Ish.

He would like Casper and appreciate that he doesn't have to work hard to be ultra friendly around him, so definitely friendsish!

Annnd yes Cole probably gets allll the dirty looks. Because Leo's worked hard for everything he's been given (he hasn't)

Haha! UH-OH, CECIL. Honestly, Cecil probably has no idea that Leo doesn't like him since he's not blatant about it. So he'll be totally pleasant at him~ Hopefully that doesn't make the dislike too much worse. ;)

SY: Total dick, worst Quidditch captain ever. Sy works supremely hard but only for Quidditch, SCHOOL SUCKS he pretty much kicked everything else to curb. He is competitive as all hell and talks a lot of smack about the Ebonhide team, but on the other hand, he's pretty good friends with Casper and Clementine, so I guess it's all hot air? Leo is prob too serious and too RIVAL CAPTAIN for Sy to be friendly to him, plus I think he can see Leo drives himself JUST as hard, which extra-inflames Sy's competitiveness, so yes tl;dr Sy is prob a dick to Leo SEE YOU NEXT WEEK ON THE FIELD

MINA: Fellow Ebonhide senior, also in Animagus Studies and Duelling! Mina's acerbic and judgmental, but she works hard for her grades and will respect anyone else who does the same, even if she'll rarely act like she respects you. She's a little nicer to fellow Ebonhides, tho. Leo and Mina are similar in that they're a bit arrogant and feel they have A LOT to prove and handle it poorly when they don't live up to expectations. This miiight make them clash but I KIND OF WANT FRIENDS FOR MINA so if you don't think Mina's whole VERY BLUNT AND MELODRAMATIC approach would be a total turn-off, that might be possible??? But she's hard to like, I know lol.

RAVI: Fellow senior. Ravi's super nice to everyone so he's gonna be nice to Leo! OH AND Ravi is also the other Jersey kid of the game, but his parents are British doctors, so there's not a lot of Jersey in his affect SADLY. :( Sorry this is short but I post Ravi everywhere so I AM SURE he and Leo will run into each other sooner or later ;3;

MICAH: Azurcrest sophomore, super weird kid. Leo may cross paths with him in Quidditch (Micah is only a reserve tho) or Duelling (Micah only likes to film people looking cool). Micah thinks Leo is a COOL GUY IDK WHAT ELSE

Clem's also on the Ebonhide team and is also a sports scholarship kid although she is not QUITE as academically driven as he is. She looks up to all the older players a lot already so she's probably kind of a kiss-ass with him since he's the CAPTAIN. So she'll be bugging him a lot

And Ivy is also an overachieving senior. She's in animagus studies w him among other things! She's a little jealous of ppl who know what they want to do with their lives but she's a good sport about it. And she's great a duelling if he ever wants to brush up on auror skilz she's a good practice buddy.

And my new kiddo Reece (

thingamabobbs) who I'm about to intro (the intro train never ends) probably isn't going to have too much overlap with him.

laurel knows OF him/could probably pick him out of a crowd, but probably kinda stays out of his way ? if he's friends with ivy though she'd count him as a friendish too

I feel like they should somehow be friends/ly because she is so chill about life and he is so not. He would not think to be threatened or have to win against her it'd be perfect

YEEEEAH just in time for Ebonhide's first game! :D

Rafael is a rival Quidditch player, but not a very... fun rival. Reid barely cares about winning, isn't a great student, and is generally quite lazy.

Diego is in his year, and he's... a mess. But he just kind of collapses when people try to seriously compete with him, so Leo is always winning against Diego. I'm sure he's very friendly at Leo, and is definitely not an academic or athletic threat. The one complication might be Mina, Diego's step sister. They get along horribly, and don't really share friends.

Calvin is a baby sophomore and proooobably doesn't know Leo much at all. He's awesome in school but too young to be a proper academic rival.

And Rafael who's new but has been dramatic so far! Rafael is another driven overachiever who's ridiculously competitive to the point where it kind of kills fun. He's an overzealous prefect, but he's courteous, level-headed and loves to tease and have fun. He just doesn't take any shit and isn't worried if he sounds like an asshole, so most people seem to either love him or hate him. It sounds like he and Leo might often end up stupidly competing with one another a lot? Or if Leo's not too put off by him, they could be friends?

I think he thinks Diego needs to grow backbone STAT and won't be able to actually be rude at him. He likes Mina better inherently but def wouldn't be any more hostile at Diego because of that

AND he probably has tried to compete against Reid in Quidditch at least and was disappointed when it came up lacking. Sigh.

Diego thinks that's GOOD ENOUGH. He'll probably mostly leave Leo alone because he doesn't have to obsess over fearing he's hated, and Leo is Mina's friend anyway.

SORRY LEO, Reid is so... unmotivated. That might change this year, though, who knows.

AND YES YAY friends with Rafael, I would love that. Stupid competition aside, Rafael will love that he and Leo can keep up with one another, and have fun together. Since they're both pretty cooperative by nature despite wanting TO WIN ALL THE TIME AT EVERYTHING, maybe by now they manage to usually hit a kind of team mentality? We're going to win this TOGETHER. Also, they're both cold anger people, so if they ever do fight it'll be a lot of really quiet pointed conversation haha.

........ I just realized people can make Ninja Turtles jokes at Leonardo and Rafael being friends.

Okay so first and foremost I have Solomon, who is a chaser for the Ebonhide team. He's a sophomore. Solomon is actually the worst competitively, but he has the same obsessive drive that Leonardo seems to have, Solomon's just possessed with the need to know everything rather than be good at everything, but he's a decent player, and this is his first year (so his first game is coming up) and a super hard worker. And also super grateful Leonardo isn't the kind of captain Sy is because this kid does not do well with aggression. Overall, even though this is his first year, Solomon likes Leonardo.

I also have Chris, who is a fellow senior AND a fellow beater for Coppertail. He's also stupidly grumpy (and using a Louisianian accent this week, instead of his usual Boston accent, for a social experiment and science and shit, so Leonardo would prolly notice that in their classes and duelling and shit.) But Chris respects Leonardo for his drive and way of captaining. And has probably injured Leonardo at some point in some previous game, or games, because he's a ruthless beater. Since Chris doesn't really care about house divisions, it depends on if Leonardo cares for Chris's attitude (and the competition aspect) if they're friendly or not.

I think Leo would like Solomon too! He definitely respects people who can love knowledge for itself even if it that is so not him. But he will be happy the future of Ebonhide Quidditch is in good hands :(

He thinks Chris's particular grumpiness is absolutely tolerable, and would absolutely have worked to injure him back. So it'd probably be more Fun Competing than a desire to duel to the death or something. (And has somewhat of an accent too and will be so confused as to why Chris is switching his. But thinks it's ultimately pretty much hilarious.)

Isaiah will know him via classes! He's totes on the same page about working obsessively on specific things, though his are...very different. He does not understand the appeal of Quidditch, though, poo. But I think he would respect Leo very much, at least. (He also came very close to being Leo's roommate and sometimes he thinks that he would have fit better there, idk if that is actually relevant but it exists.)

My baby sophomores are both involved in Quidditch in one capacity or anothers; Gabi's a cheerleader and Ree is a beater WHOO BEATERS. Plus it's Ree so she'll be on his jock regardless.

And Saira's brother is one of his roommates and she definitely respects/understands his MUST ACHIEVE SO FUCKING MUCH FOR FAMILY RECOGNITION TO STICK, MUST DO ALL THE HARDEST OF EVERYTHING since she is basically Hermione With Mommy Issues (...mods can we change her summary tho) and I think they could be friendly because of ~getting each other~ maybe?

he and quinn are the same year! and they both made beaters for their teams freshman year (although in a WACKY TWIST OF FATE, quinn was knocked down to reserve while leo was ~~knocked up~~ advanced to full team.) i think they could be friends! even good friends! quinn's also super competitive, so maybe (a) they push each other a lot, but also (b) she tries real hard to grab him back from the edge when he's like "BUT I CAN DO EVERYTHING AND I WILLLL"? plus, they both ignore people they don't care much for. if your response to these things is "yes," idk how much quinn would know about his family but if she did know his mom and sister are healers, she'd probably soon be asking him if she can owl them to shadow them at work over a break. unless she did already.

Oooh that is fun. Yes to both those things! I think a lot about his family slips out, and he would definitely try to hook her up with a shadow opportunity with his family. That's important!
