ONE YEAR LATER GRADUATE HEADCANON MEME

HI GUYS! SOOOOO a bunch of our 2014 grads are coming back next week to party with their high school friends! Yay!! I thought it would be fun to establish what they've been doing (OR NOT) with their lives over the course of the last year and plot to establish or re-establish connections or story ideas?! (If you don't HAVE any Class of '14 Kids, this might be a good place to plan out connections from the Before Times with everyone!) Please feel free to skip any or all questions, or come up with new ones? I just like establishing headcanon and wanted to be brave/post a meme.

Asher Guthrie

Graduate Special Achievements: Ran The Goosey Globe, a student newspaper, last year with a bit of help from other people! It was his baby. Otherwise(?), massive loser. Also, successful Animagus child - he's a pretty cat.
Where do they live now?: New York City! He lives with previous Ribbonfin roommate Xavier Lewis.
What have they been doing all year?: In the evenings Asher writes news articles that he submits to various publications and makes efforts at investigative journalism (he's especially interested in potential corruption in MACUSA), but during the day he mostly chills and works on his Instagram which is just him as a cat (and sometimes Zav as a pangolin!!) doing stupid things. It's... embarrassingly lucrative.
What's changed?: Almost nothing. He maybe looks a little less stressed out. Maybe. But it's only been a year, and he hasn't been doing anything but hanging out, writing, and playing with yarn for the camera.
What's stayed the same?: Asher is a spitting image of himself last year. No facial hair, same haircut, same clothes, same stupid smile.
Relationship Update!: He's been trying to date! He's not great at it!!!! He was dating a Muggle girl for a little while last year but it sort of cooled to friendship.
Who have they kept in contact with? Casper, his BFF. He also has some contact with Nisha via e-mails. Of the graduates, he's obviously in contact with Zav, also with Ravi frequently (and presumably Diego??). He liked his class a lot and would happily stay in contact with anyone who was interested in chatting with his stupidness. He texts a lot.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: He's an Instagram famous cat now, guys.
Any Wanted Plots??: NOPE but if you want my child I love and miss him and he is here for you.

The ghost of Diego Morales!

Graduate Name and Username: Diego Constantino Morales (indiefolk)
Graduate House: Azurcrest
Graduate Special Achievements: Was to blame for organizing Grotto parties, many booze runs to Logan, Azurcrest Sledding, unsanctioned camping trips, the Hunger Games, etc. etc. etc.
Where do they live now?: With his moms at home, just outside of Moab, Utah.
What have they been doing all year?: He's going to therapy, avoiding big ragers, and living a much quieter life. He's been busy working on his music and apprenticing to his mother who's a fine art dealer. He's not taking to it well because the business is a lot more cutthroat than he thought it was. When not working, he rides his horse, hikes, looks at lizards and snakes, and sends photos of himself shirtless to Ravi. He's planning on getting a pet ball python.
What's changed?: He broke up the Holy Rosicrucians, his band. He has a cell phone!!!! He's awkward at texting and comes off like he's at least 40 years older than he is in digital format.
What's stayed the same?: Diego is still the hipster lumberjack grandpa everyone remembers. He dresses impeccably, if eccentrically, and always smells really good.
Relationship Update!: He and Ravi are still together! Ravi's been studying abroad, so it's been a long distance relationship as of late. Diego isn't enjoying that part of it and tends to be clingy.
Who have they kept in contact with? Diego's social circle has shrank now that he's not acting like an idiot at parties and self-medicating. He obviously keeps in contact with Ravi and Essie, but also Cecil, Levi, Jesse, Zoey. He writes regularly to Casper, Riley and probably Addy??? He's still really accessible, he just doesn't go out as much.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: ... uhhhhhh. He hasn't done a lot lately. His biggest accomplishment is getting help for his anxiety and self-destructive behavior but he's not going to brag about that.

Christopher Park

Graduate House: Coppertale
Graduate Special Achievements: He was a beater for the coppertale and school quidditch team, he was also the captain of the school quidditch team for half a second because disciplinary action bit him in the ass. He won I think it was third place (??) in the school talent show.
Where do they live now?: He has an apartment in Boston. It's a shitty apartment in a shitty part of town, probably above a shitty pizzeria that sells drugs if you say the right words, a speakeasy for drugs if you will.
What have they been doing all year?: I can't remember all of what I had planned for Chris when we did the highschool reunion, but most of it remains unchanged regardless. But Chris passed up the opportunity to be an auror, even though he had the grades, classes and ambition to become one, and tried out for quidditch instead. So currently, he is a very pretty bench warmer for the Boston Finches. He also works as a line cook at the aforementioned shitty pizzeria.
What's changed?: Fucking nothing, dude. I know this because me and Alex still trade emails of what Robin and Chris are doing. He gets to hit people a lot less than he used to, and that bums him out. Physically Chris looks the exact same, even his hair hasn't changed. Demeanor wise, he carries himself basically the same, but this is the first year where he's doing exactly what he wants to be doing for himself, and he probably walks a bit lighter and feel less burdened because of that. It probably shows, the chip on his shoulder has gotten smaller. He's still a grouchy asshole tho.
What's stayed the same?: Basically everything. His relationship to most of the people he was closed to with in high school remains basically unchanged. Him and Robin still have fist fights over dumb shit like the last poptart. The only difference is that he's not living with his mom anymore, and he gets to have a full time job year round, and he doesn't get to knock people out with a metal ball quite as often. But he still did pick up hockey games in the winter, he still argued over sports with quinn during that season, he still does dumb shit at dumb times because he's still a dumb boy with a death wish.
Relationship Update!: lmao no. I think me and Alex were the only two that elected to kill love. But Rosy has officially dumped Chris by a shitty vague owl in December. So he's been single for about three months now.
Who have they kept in contact with? errbody. Chris keeps in regular contact with Robin, Tess, Dimi, Fern (team ghost punchers), Levi (they still share custody of Mufusa after all), probs Cecil?, Quinn, Ryan, Penny, and I'm assuming Ty bc his mom did adopt Ty and probably still sends Ty adorable letters by owl and books and pictures of the dog she adopted once Chris and Ryan moved out. She named the dog Kristoff and Chris hates it.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: He made a pro quidditch team. But he's not gonna brag about it, since he's a reserve, and is only like lowkey bummed about it. Like he is doing shit right and getting his life together but he doesn't brag about much bc he still thinks starting bar fights is fun.
Any Wanted Plots??: I truly believe he and Robin did a stint of vigilantism after school. They beat up muggers, and started bar fights for fun. Fern has also been owling robin and chris about the shenanigans at school, so team ghost punchers is trying to solve ya'lls mystery before ya'll do.

But Chris is gonna be at Levi's wedding (and probably not Fiori's wedding unless he hardcore befriended leo in the off season, or befriended Leo's family) and Cameron's party, so if anybody actually wants plot with him, he's like totally there because I love him and I want to write him more.
Anything Else???: We still have a team punch ghosts chain email, and me and Alex still trade headcanons pretty frequently. Our dead kids are just so good.

Graduate Special Achievements: Prefect! Valedictorian! Part-time raccoon! Once wrecked a perfectly nice midwestern thrift store with a part-time pangolin.
Where do they live now?: The library at Magic UCSF. Like, I'm sure he has some dorm there too, but you know he lives in the library. Or maybe he's just homeless and living in the library because it's San Francisco and that's just what you do in SF, be homeless.
What have they been doing all year?: He's in some kind of Hermeticism program at UCSF, and he's just doing what he does best. Which is school. He will never be as happy as he is in school.
What's changed?: He has a neckbeard. He forgets to shave when Maggie and Cricket aren't around.
What's stayed the same?: He's still a high strung library dweller. Sometimes he wakes up in a strange place with a toothbrush in his mouth and he realizes Mirabel transported him and the other dead ESBs to some deserted place again.
Relationship Update!: I think he's still with his high school sweetheart, Tabitha Ogletree. Heather isn't here anymore but I mean we could do Takeru/Nate instead
Who have they kept in contact with? Maggie and Cricket, his moms, dead ESBs Leo, Kazim, Neil, Takeru, I'm sure he ruins thrift stores with his pangolin pal Zav. He also shares a library with Quinn, like the good old days!!

Rafael Ramirez

Graduate Name and Username: Rafael Ramirez (firstposition)
Graduate House: Coppertale
Graduate Special Achievements: Prefect, party tyrant, dance commander, most polarizing prefect award.
Where do they live now?: In the Auror training barracks which... I don't know where we decided the training grounds ended up. He miiiight be roommates with Robin? But either way, he's relieved to not be his prefect. Rafael gets along better with everyone now that he's not winding himself up with his control issues.
What have they been doing all year?: Auror training! Rafael did end up getting accepted into the US program, and chose to follow Leo there instead of returning to Mexico. He's very preoccupied with being The Best, and is still an overly assertive teacher's pet. He excels at everything... except running. His knee injury is an obstacle and his teachers are pushing him to consider a less physically active career path within the agency. Since Rafael's keen on ascending that ladder, so he's choosing what to do next carefully.
What's changed?: He's much, much more relaxed. Now that Rafael is no longer a prefect trapped in boarding school, he's a lot more at ease. He's better about combing his hair in the morning. He's learning Italian, and he and Leo might be at risk of accidentally creating a monstrous Spanish-Italian hybrid language no one else can follow. ALSO, he's learning to be an Animagus under Leo's tutelage, but can't transform yet.
What's stayed the same?: Still Rafael, poised and princely. Still dances. Still refuses to carry around a cane because he is, as always, handling it. Nothing is wrong and he needs no help, thanks!
Relationship Update!: He and Leo are still going strong, and are still guilty of excessive PDA.
Who have they kept in contact with? He and Dances with Foxes (Leo, Ty, Quinn) are still very tight, I think! He and Robin are at least two parts of an Auror D&D group. I imagine he's in regular contact with Ravi, Cecil(&Levi), writes to Casper, etc. He probably sent Cash a letter congratulating him on becoming a prefect.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Auror training! Now that he's finally 18, his parents don't try to hide him so much from paparazzi but he's not an especially interesting topic for tabloids. He's very well behaved and his relationship with Leo isn't that public.

Graduate Special Achievements: Prom king '14, Quidditch Cup Champion Winning Captain, turtle animagus
Where do they live now?: For most of the year, he's been in baby Auror housing in Area 51, NV. When he doesn't have to be there, he isn't, and tries to spend the vast majority of his spare time with Rafael WHO IS THERE TOO YAY
What have they been doing all year?: He's been in baby Auror training, trying to make a name for himself. THEIR name for him is probably "stuck-up-jackass," but I guess what else is new? He's almost certainly one of the top of the trainee pack, though, and fights to stay that way. It's all-consuming, and Leo's still ridiculously obsessive when he has a goal. This break COULD be the first time a lot of people have glimpsed him since summer.
What's changed?: Auror Training Leo's somehow in even better shape than his prime Quidditch days. He now dresses like he thinks a baby Auror should, for a lot of the year, meaning lots of (transfigured) sharp suits and mysterious black coats. He has one (1) cool curse scar on his hand that's really just from practice, but he likes to think more will come. ALSO, he can speak Spanish pretty well now, but it still comes out Spantalian a lot.
What's stayed the same?: No matter how hard he hides it, he'll never get rid of the vestiges of his NJ accent, especially when he's drunk. He can hold his liquor...like, less, if that's even possible. And he still definitely can't swim.
Relationship Update!: He's still very with and very into Rafael.
Who have they kept in contact with? I insist the SuperSeniorEbonboys do in fact have a haunted doll group text, so all of them, definitely. He's okay at texts but they're like, disturbingly brief, and his manner of speaking probably DOESN'T translate well to a text medium. OH well. He talks to Quinn and Ty allll the time, and they need to plan their vacation this year. He writes all the old members of his Quidditch team, most often Clem and Casper and also Ulysses. Both Quayles, really. And now January, his almost-ish-sister-in-law
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Being #1 Auror Trainee for at LEAST a few-week period, he is very awful
Any Wanted Plots??: This is...not a new thing, but he's VERY nervous about more people than 1 coming to his brother's wedding? You guys were never supposed to know he has a family?

Graduate Special Achievements: Prefect, and former LARP club co-president.
Where do they live now?: London, England. Ravi still has a room in his parents' house in Elizabeth, NJ.
What have they been doing all year?: He's in his first year studying to be Healer at St. Mungo's. He has a place to himself, although he often drops by to see some of his extended (Muggle) family in London on the weekends. Ravi is very, very hard at work at school and... absolutely miserable. He's realizing he absolutely doesn't want to be a Healer and this is difficult to accept given that it's been his childhood dream to become a doctor, and his parents are both doctors, and he's planned out his entire life to the age of 30 and sldkfkldjhKJLHDKSKL. Ravi is still in the Denial stage about this and it's really wearing down on him.
What's changed?: Increased willingness to drink shots during a wedding.
What's stayed the same?: Physically, he looks the same as ever. Maybe a little tired, but he'll be very happy to be back home and with his friends again.
Relationship Update!: Still with Diego! Despite them being in a LDR for almost a year (for a planned two years), they're still happy together. Ravi misses him a lot. :c
Who have they kept in contact with? Diego, Asher and Xavier, and I'm sure also Rafael, Sun-mi, Cecil, Quinn, etc. if they don't mind the attention. Ravi's probably been less communicative unless you have him on Skype or Snapchat or something, but he probably tries to keep track of where the other Ribbonfins (Isaiah, Zoey, Ivy, Anuhea, etc.) are at.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Uh, honestly his biggest accomplishment of the last year is tanking his GPA to below 3.0 for the first time in his life!!!! Or whatever the equivalent is in British wizarding terms!!!! It's fine!!!! He can fix this!!!!!
Any Wanted Plots??: No, unless like... other grads in the UK wanted to hang out or something. Maybe one time Ravi and Dimi Evercreech got super drunk in a pub.
Anything Else???: he's going to wash out of healer school after this year and then go live at diego's and see if he can larp for a living unless [SPOILERS] happens and changes that path B)

A Spooky Pangolin Ghost

Graduate Special Achievements: Most Likely to Poison Classmates with Semi-Harmless Quasi-Magical Confections, Most Likely to Break Head Open on Rock, regularly nominated every single person in his class for prom court every year for 4 years, also a pangolin Animagus.
Where do they live now?: NYC, in a bigger-on-the-inside apartment with Asher Guthrie.
What have they been doing all year?: Xavier spent the latter half of 2014 working two jobs - at a food truck and as an intern for a Transfiguration researcher studying, specifically, Animagus forms. He started to pick up programming and dive more into muggle/internet culture. He has at least three super bizarre websites and runs at least one joke twitter. (I assume) He's also been recording a Wizard Podcast with Mercy - Mercy, Lewis and the News - and he helps Asher with his Instagram fame, occasionally guest staring as Taco the Pangolin. As of January 2015, he is enrolled as a student studying Transfiguration at the New York Academy of Arcane Science. College textbooks are so goddamned expensive, guys.
What's changed?: Xavier's evened out a bit, still himself but less prone to self-destruction. Visibly tired from how busy he is, but doing well. Just, a little more quiet at his center. His wardrobe is still eccentric, but distinctly more thrift shop than anything else, now.
What's stayed the same?: Zav is still an eccentric cutie with long hair and ever-present headphones. Also still anxiety boy.
Relationship Update!: Xavier is still head-over-heels in love with Reid Wainwright and misses him terribly and is prone to making seriously irresponsible decisions re: work and school ethic whenever Reid is on break from school.
Who have they kept in contact with? Xavier is that friend who will send you a meme just to let you know he's thinking about you. It's safe to say that anyone he was chummy with, graduate or student, still gets the occasional weird thing in the mail or on their phone. Zav lives with Asher, does a podcast with Mercy, keeps in regular contact with Ravi, Isaiah and the rest of the supersenior Ribbonfins (and, I'm guessing, Laurel). He still makes ill-advised thrift shop trips with Nate. Sends weekly love letters to Reid. Regularly sends ramble-y letters to Ursula (about food) and Casey (about D&D), at the very least. He and Nisha email/text whenever Nisha has wifi, and speak almost entirely in emojis and pictures pulled from the internet.

Graduate Special Achievements: Valedictorian contender, but not valedictorian. Prom Queen nominee, but not prom queen. She & her twin sister Laurel were popular because they were nice, sunshiney girls, but Laurel was the more accomplished of the two of them, socially speaking.
Where do they live now?: In NYC with Laurel, approx. 15 minutes away from Zav and Asher's by train.
What have they been doing all year?: She's a freshman at a prestigious Wizard University! She's studying magical linguistics and living portraiture.
What's changed?: Not much!!! She's just Ivy!!! Right after she graduated she lobbed her hair off, but it's mostly grown back now.
What's stayed the same?: Absolutely attached at the hip to Laurel. Their adult lives have done absolutely nothing to encourage them to be more codependent.
Relationship Update!: Went thru the world's most half-hearted breakup with Jesse at some point but I think they're gonna hook up at this wedding.
Who have they kept in contact with? All of her senior friends. She's good about staying in touch. Of current students, Issy probably hears from her the most often. She didn't have a lot of younger friends now that I'm thinking about it!!!
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: She's got some of her art up in a gallery at her university.
Any Wanted Plots??: Is anyone else in NYC besides Zav and Asher?? She probably bugs her NYC friends more than anybody else.

Graduate Special Achievements: Was Chaser for the school team and for Ribbonfin, Extremely!! Academic, etc
Where do they live now?: Dublin, Ireland.
What have they been doing all year?: Z went to visit her grandfather last summer and then... never left. She enrolled for the fall at a prestigious potioneering school in Dublin and it's... her life now.
What's changed?: Not much, to be honest. Z is still regularly working herself to the bone. Still kind of a robot.
What's stayed the same?: Haha. Basically everything. Her hair might be slightly longer?? She also smokes a lot of pot.
Relationship Update!: Z is still dating Ryan, and he recently moved to be with her. :u Long distance sucked.
Who have they kept in contact with? Everyone of even small relevance. Dead Ribbonfins, her past Holy Rosi bandmates, Addy (Zaddy!!!), etc.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Scholarship to her potioneering program. Perhaps some interesting European adventures.

Graduate Special Achievements: He headed up anti-prom instead of going to super cool murder mystery prom. All-around super hooligan. Made a ghost girl scream and deafen Team Punch Ghosts for a full minute because he and Chris don't know how to fucking shut up.
Where do they live now?: Area 51 Auror Training Program, bunk directly next to Rafael Ramirez's I'm sure, where he can whisper sweet conspiracies in his ear. When not there, he's getting in fights with Chris over who gets the last Pop-Tart in the apartment they're going to end up sharing for the rest of their fucking lives.
What have they been doing all year?: Robin's greatest achievement was making it into Auror training, and that's been his life. He lives and breathes this training shit. Robin's never been good at School, so he tries to make up for his lack of academic acuity by kicking ass in every other avenue. Hey, send him to Hawaii to get his ass kicked by Iggy's grandpa. Drop him in the middle of the woods for "survival training" and see how he fucking murders it.
What's changed?: Oh he definitely has some massive fucking scars on his arm that are super not from getting in dumb fights with Tess. He also has a lot more freckles because he's in the fucking desert but he does not tan, he just burns a lot and refuses to learn his lesson and put on sunscreen. Hair might be longer.
What's stayed the same?: Super fucko. Super hella goddamn fucko. Still workin' on Virgil's confidence.
Relationship Update!: lol
Who have they kept in contact with? Other Auror babies (Tess! Rafa! Leo!), he just like shows up and fights Chris sometimes, sends Dimi pictures of Virgil, gets updates on spooky shit going on at school from Fern, might see Quentin around the Compound sometimes, and all of you have definitely been getting weekly Conspiracy Nut Newsletters whether you subscribed to them or not. They just... keep showing up.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Was left in the woods with just a corkscrew and told to figure out how to survive for three weeks and he ended up training a raccoon.

What have they been doing all year?: Uhh. Laurel enrolled in a NY university to study Charms, then... dropped out immediately after her first semester. She didn't do horribly, she just... hated it. She now works as a waitress P/T, is involved with some local theater, and dances with a magical company.
What's changed?: NOT MUCH, to be frank, except for a navel piercing.
What's stayed the same?: See above ^^ Laurel and Ivy continue to be... Laurel and Ivy. Laurel still dresses like a colorful grandpa.
Relationship Update!: There's been continued weirdo romancing w Takeru, who is her date for these weddin' shenanigans? Other than that, nm.
Who have they kept in contact with? Everyone! Laurel frequently sends out photographs in costume or make-up, of theater backdrops, etc, with little to no explanation. She loves writing letters. Issy definitely receives care packages.

Where do they live now?: Hawaii, probably in his girlfriends' parents basement. I'm sure they just love him. (I'm pretty sure they hate him.)
What have they been doing all year?: A few months after graduating he got into a huuuuuge fight with his dad and they're not on speaking terms. He fucked off to Hawaii after that. He's probably going to wizard (or maybe nomaj?) community college at the moment, while privately working on his own projects. Neil's still a technowizard engineering prodigy, but he's not really making the most of that. It'll be another year or two before he really comes into his own. He goes on ghost hunts a lot, and has tried to slip into Muggle paranormal investigator groups with mixed success.
What's changed?: He's a little more stubbly, which does a lot to boost him into kind of handsome instead of dorky-cute.
What's stayed the same?: Aaaalmost everything. Still obsessed with ghosts, still buys "haunted" dolls for his friends.

Who have they kept in contact with? She sees her fellow Auror trainees regularly, obviously. So, Robin, plus Leo and Rafael if they’re baby Aurors at the same place? She’s very busy with Auror training, so she may not be able to hang out all the time with the others, but she’s still the mom friend and she definitely keeps in touch, whether they like it or not. Either by owl or text, depending on their level of comfort with technology. And she sends random baked goods in the mail. Keeps in touch with Dimi, Quinn, Ty, Chris, Levi, Cecil. Others??? Idk. Keeps in contact with cousin Casey. She writes Quentin more than Robin does, and he keeps her up to date on the spooky stuff.

Graduate Special Achievements: He made out with A LOT of people at the Grotto and found a skull. God. Like, what a waste he was??? I love him.
Where do they live now?: I am going to give Dimi one (1) nice thing and say that he's finally moved out of his parents' home and has a very, very tiny flat probably still in the wizard-y part of Bath.
What have they been doing all year?: Immediately after school, Dimi got a job as a shopboy and was promptly fired because he thought it'd be a funny joke to stuff Robin's conspiracy theory pamphlets into textbooks and tell wizard school children that that's how it REALLY is in the United States. Eventually through his mother's connections, he landed a job as a photographer's assistant, focusing on fashion. It's allowed him to pick up a lot of new technical skills and learn a bit more about working freelance, so he's started selling his own stuff on the side, finally. Dimi scrimps and saves and then spends his money on ultra-thrifty backpacking trips to various places and spends his time taking arguably dangerous photos.
What's changed?: Dimi looks mostly the same. Hair's a bit neater. Sometimes. He's a little more responsible and actively driven, rather than just being sort of all over the place.
What's stayed the same?: Still a gigantic dipshit.
Relationship Update!: Dimi is still with Sylla! And they are still being coy about putting a label on what they are, although Dimi doesn't mind when other people call a duck a duck and say they're in a relationship. He writes her and sends her photos and small gifts frequently.
Who have they kept in contact with? The senior Coppertools, at large, and Team Punch Ghosts, especially. Since he's Team Punch Ghosts' Daphne, he hears about most of their theorizing after the fact and thinks that everyone's just getting cute pictures of Virgil in sweaters. He's visited Sun-mi's dragon ranch at least once. I imagine he writes Mina from time to time. Student-wise, he obviously keeps in regular contact with Calvin because they are probably still a little co-dependent I'm guessing. He also writes Iliya, I bet.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Being able to call himself a "professional photographer."

Where do they live now?: After graduation, she went to Hawaii and stayed with Anuhea at her family's house. Then Anuhea left, and she continued living at Anuhea's parents' house until they kicked her out a month later. Now she lives in a long-term AirBNB rental on the Pipeline with a bunch of muggles: a surfer who just went pro, a 45 year old woman who sells macrame bracelets on Etsy for a living, an a computer programmer from San Jose who's working remotely for a year as a "mental health break" but never leaves his bedroom.
What have they been doing all year?: Catnapping on the beach.
What's changed?: She's blonde, which wasn't entirely unusual for her while she was at Gooseberry. She also has a bunch of tattoos now, some of which are half-finished.
What's stayed the same?: She still dresses like a Lisa Frank Bargain Bin Sale threw up on her.

Who have they kept in contact with? She's not good at writing. She'll respond to letters if she gets them, but doesn't send them out.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Got her senior project potion patented and then sold it for a tidy profit. Her dads still send her money, but she'd get by without it.

What have they been doing all year?: Dahlia's just kind of goin' with the flow you guys, and boy is she one irresponsible fuck. She's had, like, eight jobs and she just stops going some day when she realizess she can live without this job. She's also been in a band with Kazim Raza for an undefined length of time where she mostly freestyles over his sick bass. They're called Brother Alces' Pagan Playthings and they're Austin's favorite band. She sold their CDs at her barista job for the three and a half weeks she had that job.
What's changed?: I feel very strongly that she has a poorly thought out tattoo.
What's stayed the same?: I also feel very strongly that Dahlia still sometimes wears her school uniform but she also hasn't washed it since graduating, so.

Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Managed to convince one (1) radio station to give away her CD as a prize in some radio contest and some loser in Utah ended up winning it. (It was Austin. Austin is their biggest fan.)

What have they been doing all year?: Cricket has a paid internship at MACUSA. She's a research aid for a Senator but I never picked who because I couldn't decide where Maggie and Cricket ended up living geographically. She spends a lot of time at work and doesn't do much socializing, other than bougie entertaining.
What's changed?: She's gained about twenty pounds. She won't work as hard to pretend she likes you if she doesn't.
What's stayed the same?: Cricket is still a child at heart and her adult mask like ... isn't that hyperrealistic. She is extremely good at the functional parts of adulting (have you changed the air filters in your furnace yet? It's newly spring!) but is still extremely emotionally stunted.
Relationship Update!: Still in love with Maggie. Still doesn't know how to tell her. Recently single from yet another attempt at dating terrible men. Hopefully the last.
Who have they kept in contact with? The Platinum Trio. Ulysses. Casey. Leo. If your character considered her a friend, they still receive birthday gifts and thoughtful cards and the occasional 'Hope you're well!' note but otherwise, they probably don't hear too much from her. She's somewhat reclusive these days.
Biggest Achievement of Last Year: Wrote several successful project grants. Attended the MACUSA version of the National Convention (I don't know if wizards have political parties, leave me alone). Adulted all up in your face, so successfully—you should see their apartment.

Where do they live now?: Northern Ireland
What have they been doing all year?: Cecil moved overseas after graduation so his sweetheart (hi Levi) could play Quidditch! Since then, he's been attending culinary school and working part-time in a bakery. While this keeps him fairly busy, he's also learning to be a dog dad, continuing to practice divination, writing lots of letters home (being away from his family and friends is hard, guys), and getting up to general wholesome Cecil stuff. No bees just yet. Thanks for taking care of his bees, Gwen!
What's changed?: Physically, he's let his hair get a bit shaggy and he's wearing an engagement ring now. But that's about it. Mentally and emotionally, the stress of being Head Boy was a bit much for Cecil, who's really more of a caretaker than a leader, so he likely seems more relaxed now that he's out of that situation. Apart from that, same ol' gentle giant Ceebee. He's worked on his alcohol tolerance a bit since he's an Adult now, but he's still a lightweight.
What's stayed the same?: Still everyone's sweet, empathetic, easily-embarrassed big brother. Still thinks most problems can be solved with tea and sweets and Talking It Out. Still making questionable choices for love with no consequences. He hasn't changed much.
Relationship Update!: Cecil's engaged to Levi! This is happening very quickly but he's positive it's the right thing and he's Very Happy. ♥
Who have they kept in contact with? Levi, obviously. Apart from that, he sees and writes to Diego (with themed stationary) as often as he can. BFFs! He also keeps in contact with Addy, Ravi, Rafael, Tess (I hope they exchange recipes), Quinn, Chris, and Maggie. Maybe others? He also reaches out to the Azurkids from time to time (hang in there, Reece and Kenzie!). He's an excellent pen pal but also amenable to phones for the tech-savvy wizards and witches.

Where do they live now?: Ty's technically got a place to live, but he's never there. Because he's working for his sister's rare book business, he spends most of his time bouncing from place to place looking for purchases, dealing with customers, and studying languages so he can translate/transcribe texts. He also visits Quinn when he can. He's a wanderer for now and he loves it.
What have they been doing all year?: See above? Apart from traveling, hunting down rare books, and studying languages, though, Ty's also become more acquainted with technology over the last year. What started as making videos for Quinn so he could show her all the places he was going and all the stuff he was seeing ended up turning into a Muggle-friendly travel/language/culture vlog. He thinks it's The Most Fun! Everyone pay attention to him! There are also occasional videos about dancing, squirrels, books, etc. You know. The important stuff.
What's changed?: While Ty works for his sister Sabi, he hasn't had much contact with the rest of his family since he graduated and he intends to keep it that way unless something changes. He's happier without them. He's semi-fluent in another language or two. Missy (his pet jarvey) has picked up some interesting words too. Some of them aren't even swears! Apart from being a little more independent and a little more worldly, Ty hasn't changed much.
What's stayed the same?: Ty's as upbeat, energetic, and playful as ever! The big bad world hasn't had much impact on his pep just yet. He's still bleaching and straightening his hair but is coming around to the idea of...not doing that. Quinn, will you still love him as a curly brunette?
Relationship Update!: Still dating Quinn! Still thinks she's amazing.
Who have they kept in contact with? Dances with Foxes (Quinn, Rafael, and Leo) hear from Ty a lot and see Ty as much as he can make them see him. He also stays in close contact with his baby sister Hazel; she gets a ridiculous amount of postcards from him that she puts on her wall. Apart from them, he also keeps in contact with Vee, Tess, Chris, Dimi, and Robin, at least. Maybe other people?
