CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS & PLOTTING

Hello everyone, and welcome (back) to Gooseberry! We still have a couple weeks until the actual game opens, but we anticipate a lot of new characters joining us.

RULES

• So the OOC comm isn't flooded with dozens of new introduction posts, please introduce your new characters here!


• Remember to put your character's name in the subject line!


• You can say as much or as little as you like. Consider hitting the basics like, house, classes, clubs and year, then describe their personality and interests briefly. Mention what kinds of storylines you want (friends, enemies, etc.) and get to plotting!


• Then go around and reply to other peoples' introductions, establishing lines and relationships.


• If you have some plot you'd like to talk to people about that involves a returning character, comment here explaining what you're planning!


• Be courteous and limit yourself to only one medium/small gif or image! We don't have cuts here, so be kind to your friends who might be on mobile.

HI MEGGIE.

So, we already spoke re: Cordi so let's skip over that one.

Isabelle would only know him from being a fellow Ebohide, but otherwise they don't have much overlap.

Samantha is in Gardening Club with him and thinks his prank was hilarious soooo she'd be friendly.

Avery is obviously Quidditch-y and is in D&F with him so she'll be friendly!

Oscar is also a Quid reserve so, they can share that. If he crushes on Karen at any point Oscar will go hulk-brother mode. Aside from that I got nothing.

Obviously Cordi is the most relevant but we already have some stuff planned there so yay! Give her all the romantic advice xD

Isabelle is a year above and in a different house, and they share no clubs so rip.

Samantha is in Archery & Gaming with her so THERE'S THAT! I think she'd find Dinah to be pretty cool and like her.

Oscar is also in Gaming and just kinda raises a brow at her, but finds her amusing.

Avery is in OE with her and is incapable of being not nice so, come here child let's keep you safe <3

Concordia is in her year - they share Charms, Potions, Transfig, and Magical Rudiments together! They are also both in D&F together. Cori is now Cordi or Corgi or Dia so there's no name conflict xD I just need to reflect that in her app at some point and I'm lazy. Honestly, Dia probably watched Fly High and fangirls a little.

Isabelle is in Choir with her and the same house but that's it. She might find her to be a bit overwhelming but also interesting with the whole being famous thing.

Samantha will be like HEY GIRL HEY CORRI HI and not even notice that she's pissing her off sorry she is like OMG, FAMOUS. But also they are in Archery and Gaming together so there's a bit of overlap and lmao I'm sorry she's going to be so annoying. ALSO THO Samantha IS behind in everything and has a kind of GO GO GO personality at times so there might be some potential for friendship or something.

Oscar and Avery share some clubs with her but are old and w/e.

We already talked about Concordia so I'll skip her -

Isabelle is also a junior, and in Charms, Hermeticism, Potions, Transfig, and DADA with him so they share a lot of classes. She's also in drama so they share that, too! She probably knows nothing about his figure skating thing but his loudness would make her cringe a bit. However, she is also intense and not one to judge people on that so she might stick around to talk to him long enough to see he's also friendly sometimes?

Samantha is a junior as well, and shares Charms, Hermeticism, Potions, Transfig, and DADA with him. She's also in Archery and thinks he seems like fun. His irritating qualities would probably not irritate her all that much. She also loves a good flirt! However if he is outwardly self-conscious she'll probably eye roll a lot.

Avery and Oscar don't share much with him so I got nothing there.

Isabelle is a JR and shares Charms, Potions, Transfig, Herbology, and Divination with him! She's likely to fall in the category of thinking he's Too Much, but with the overlap in classes and year she'll probably run into him a lot and eventually find him to be endearing, maybe?

Samantha has higher hopes of interaction here. They share Charms, Herbology, OE, Potions, Transfig, and Artificing together. She's also in Archery with him so they have a lot of school stuff in common. She probably finds his personality to be interesting and really - the fact that he struggles in school and she is really far behind she might want to partner up as a study buddy with him. Both because he seems nice and also because he won't make her feel like such an idiot for being behind since he's also struggling???

Avery and Oscar don't have much overlap :(

I definitely volunteer Issy for heartbreak, it'll be fantastic. BUT otherwise, they do share Choir, she was on EC last year and obviously they had overlap at Ilvermorny being in the same house there and all, she knows about the breakdown etc and yeah. ALSO, Isabelle is a great singer and has been interested in being in a band so she may ask her a lot of questions about that???

Samantha is in Event Committee and Gaming with her. She likes bands and thinks they are cool. She loves everybody and adores her older sister so probably adores Tally too.

Avery is a Ribbonfin! She has not always gotten along with Kenzie or Kenzie's friends probably more accurately but she doesn't judge anyone before knowing them and tries hard not to judge then either. Avery loves to help people though, so there's potential for tutoring and yeah!

Oscar is in Gaming and will be nice to her, but not much overlap otherwise!

So obviously most relevant is Avery here. Fellow Ribbonfin Senior and all. She's in Charms, Potions, Transfiguration, and OE. She's also in D&F!

She'll be all = O surprised at how not scrawny he is and friendly people are great so Avery would definitely be his friend, prob talk to him whenever she sees him and yeah :D

OSCAR SAYS SUP LARP BUDDY, HEY GIRL HEY. But also, they share Charms, Herbology, Potions, Transfig, and Magical Rudiments together. ALSO, Drama on top of LARP so they have a decent amount of overlap and I'm calling dibs on friendships here.

Issy & Sam share some clubs, same for Concordia so. We can just see how that goes and if any interact well. :)

Avery obviously is a senior too wooooo
Aside from that she's in Hermeticism, Transfig, Charms, and DADA with him. She also is in Gaming, OE, and D&F. So they have a crapload of overlap. She needs more friends since Chris left and she's sad about it. And Marilyn is gone. and Z. And everyone D: D: D: SO yes I... think Avery might like him? Like, she could ignore some of those = and - qualities enough. enjoy some of the = qualities and likes all the + qualities so?? yeah.

Oscar takes Charms and Transfiguration with him. He's in OE and Gaming too so a bit of overlap and Oscar is also all chaos and sadness so they could bond I think.

My babies have little in common but can always stare at him like he's really cool with his brooding and whatever.

SO

Most relevant obviously is Isabelle. Same year and house! She's also a singer :D :D :D She's in Charms, Herbology, Astronomy, and Potions with him. She's also in Choir! Apparently she has a thing for hipster douches??? So she might like him despite him being really condescending but also she's a wet blanket so she doesn't always stand up for herself or correct people etc I mean you kinda know how she is. I think she'll like him though!

Samantha is also a junior with him - in OE, Charms, Herbology, and Artificing with him. She's also in gaming club with him! She'll probably think he's a bit of a tryhard and she'll tease him but she also likes all kinds of ridiculous people and don't see her like, NOT wanting to be his friend and everything. Plus she is struggling hardcore in Artificing and also not the bestest ever at Herbology so they could, like, study together? Esp since he's good in Artificing and at least plants don't die when she's around?

Concordia, Avery, and Oscar don't have much immediately relevant overlap so we'll just see if they talk and what happens unless you had any ideas!
