hey all this is almost a mod post but since meggie's gone to bed and most of this is just my shit I'M POSTING AS A PLAYER. a list of things:

Holidays, health, work, etc. has been absolutely pummelling me so I'm putting myself on semi-hiatus. This does mean that, ridiculously enough, Drama Club is going to have to rehearse tomorrow without knowing who the hell has what role and what they are even performing??? Sorry. :( I'm going to see if I can get a cast list posted tomorrow at least because other writing is NOT HAPPENING. (But I will hopefully be around when Meggie's on hiatus this weekend, so not to worry, we won't abandon you!)

I have a Christmas present for all of you! I've posted Gooseberry-themed playlist codes on my personal journal, which you can use and alter to your heart's content. You can preview it in action HERE. (You can also find other code bits on baisemain which I swear I will move off of Sy's journal SOMEDAY.)

We have some Dreamwidth points saved up and I'd like to distribute them to anyone who really wants them, since it's the holidays and all. Dreamwidth Tools (Chrome)

Icon browser for free accounts
Batch icon uploader
"Action"/"texting" text insert buttons which we don't use in this game but you can customize this a little for your own purposes
Auto-load comment pages which is less useful for this game, but it's there

Unfortunately, this is only for Chrome. (I've seen older versions of the extension that were adapted for Firefox/Greasemonkey. Let me know if you still want the link!)

LJ Juggler (Chrome / Firefox)

One-click sign-in for multiple journal accounts for easy switching between character journals. It says LJ but it works for DW and IJ too.

Lazarus Form Recovery (Chrome / Firefox)

Auto-saves text in forms which is useful in cases your browser crashes in the middle of writing a tag, or you accidentally click away

Widescreen Dreamwidth (Stylish, for Chrome / Firefox)

View all site pages full-width, for people who are using the default Tropospherical theme

I'm making a post for this because I really, really mean it, and I really need to make myself step back a bit and focus on my Actual Job. I've been slow lately because of work/health/family issues, and I'm going to continue to be slow for at least the next week.

This means there will be a slowdown on all of the things which are either partly or entirely my mod duties, such as adding new characters, maintaining the holds page, maintaining game pages in general, answering dropbox questions, everything relating to Quidditch, and just... mod stuff in general. Meggie will still be here and working tirelessly to make sure stuff like the Grotto party and other IC/OOCs go up in a timely manner, but we'd really appreciate your patience at this time.

I'll still be around, since it's pretty easy to just shoot the shit OOC, but I may not very tagging very much, if at all. If you really need my characters for anything, please feel free to hit me up on my character dropboxes or by email.

This affects Sy, Ravi, Mina, Micah and Iliya.

Hey, just a head's up that I have been ~~literally~~ figuratively dying for far too many reasons to list, and I'll be hella slow and flaky for a few more days. I THOUGHT I COULD MUSCLE THROUGH IT but sadly I gotta prioritize other things than RP right now. Hello again, my darling hermit crabs, it's Marin announcing her membership in the much reviled Four Characters Club. This is Micah St. Clair, Azurcrest sophomore and future film director. He's always got a video camera up (when the batteries are charged anyway), and loves to talk about his latest screenplay. His latest screenplay is invariably a sleazy B-movie horror with schlocky dialogue and clumsy titillation. He grew up in an isolated wizard town which curtailed his ability to learn what good movies are. Or... OK honestly, his taste is just incredibly shitty. JESUS CHRIST okay I'm finally officially home (and so is Marin obviously) and we're caught up on mod updates, but here's a me-as-a-player post saying I'm good to go again. I'm sure that because I was either incredibly busy or incredibly not physically here for the last two weeks, I've missed a lot. I'll be back to normal oh so very soon.

IN SHORT. If there's anything that needs Diego, Calvin or Reid's attention (for instance, threads I dropped over the week that you were really enjoying), please let me know. I'm going to be getting to all my logs too. You are all so patient and I love you. ♥

Also if you want one of my characters for anything in the future, I want to know that too! I'm limited on what logs I can do until I wrap up some of these old ones though.........
