PREPARING FOR IJ'S (HOPEFUL) RETURN

Alright, everyone, with the (hopeful) return of IJ on the horizon, here are a few announcements:

• This fresh OOC post is dedicated to Cameron.


• Tomorrow, regardless of whether or not the site is up, we will be posting a list of the major events and IC/OOCs that are scheduled in March.
  • If we do get IJ back, we'll be posting the plot calendar at 11:00 AM tomorrow morning. This will save poor Marin from staying up until 3 AM formatting it.
• Regarding the IC explanation for the downtime: With the Grotto party having taken place tonight (3/3/17) with characters referencing no access to the journal network, if the network comes up tonight treat it as though characters woke up on Saturday morning with functional journals.


• If IJ does not come back tonight, we might be looking at an IJ-less weekend. The Quidditch game post will be posted here on DW on Sunday, and Saturday we might cave and make a Veritaserum meme.

Right now I'm in two games. And how drastically different the mods of these games are reacting to this is amazing. This one feels like a family. Where we can all come together to cope with this torture. The other game is complete radio silence. So I appreciate the memes. I have never felt so codependent on a group of people before in my life

"So there good news and the bad news.
I have data and it's good, but the bad news is that it's from 2/13 of this year (about 3 weeks ago).
What this means:
1) Im not going to have the time to clean things up enough to bring it online tonight.
2) If your account already existed, all of your posts and comments are safe (unless they were commented on a newer account)
3) Any accounts created since then have been lost.
4) Any paid/permanent accounts purchased since then have been lost
5) Any accounts that have been renamed since then have reverted.
5) We have to re-run the purge from scratch.
What we will be doing:
Tomorrow I will be writing all of the scripts to clean up the database. Once this is done, I'll be running them and then bringing the site online. This will be tomorrow.
We will be working to refund all payments since 2/13/2017 (except for the donations). If you have paid since then and want your money back we will gladly process any disputes you file through paypal.
If anyone has a better idea on how to handle the refunds, we will gladly discuss it in the comments."

I'm not like ditching you, I've just literally had a tooth ache since right after I agreed to do the scenes with you.I don't even know how long it's been i was born with this toothache and i will die with this tooth ache

And then sometimes i get hungry, and try to eat and remember why I'm fucking hungry, because this toothache is just now a part of me. But I did go to a comic book store today, and it was majestic. I haven't been inside of one in like four years I got lazy and just got a pull list from midtown comics, but fuck you and your five dollar shipping fee if you're just gonna shelf Tim Drake like he doesn't even matter We're currently in a feud right now.

And I got to spend the lovely morning hunting every used electronics and/or bookstore in my city in search of a game cube, because my father is an old fucking man who refuses to accept newer consoles. My comic book adventure wasn't part of that mission and yet it was the most majestic part.

this pawn shop looked at me and said 'we get like one game cube a year' and shamed me out the door. I felt personally attacked. It was not a great hunt.

...so i just wanted to give ya'll an update. I swear i'm not trying to flake
