PREPARING FOR IJ'S (HOPEFUL) RETURN

Alright, everyone, with the (hopeful) return of IJ on the horizon, here are a few announcements:

• This fresh OOC post is dedicated to Cameron.


• Tomorrow, regardless of whether or not the site is up, we will be posting a list of the major events and IC/OOCs that are scheduled in March.
  • If we do get IJ back, we'll be posting the plot calendar at 11:00 AM tomorrow morning. This will save poor Marin from staying up until 3 AM formatting it.
• Regarding the IC explanation for the downtime: With the Grotto party having taken place tonight (3/3/17) with characters referencing no access to the journal network, if the network comes up tonight treat it as though characters woke up on Saturday morning with functional journals.


• If IJ does not come back tonight, we might be looking at an IJ-less weekend. The Quidditch game post will be posted here on DW on Sunday, and Saturday we might cave and make a Veritaserum meme.

I feel like IJ is that emotionally abusive ex who treats you just nice enough to keep you hanging on, but still makes you feel like shit every second of every day. And they break up with you over and over again, knowing you'll come back when they ask you to because that's how it works.

Only IJ breaks up with you every 30 minutes.

DAY 2 IN PURGATORY: NEITHER MOD IS AROUND

Hi everyone, this is day 2 of one of your mods not being able to access IJ reliably at work, which is a problem for... doing mod things. (Or playing my characters, obviously.) Since I prefer not refreshing 6 times whenever I want to load a page, I won't be active during daylight hours until this is resolved.

Marin explained

IJ PROBLEMS INTENSIFY

ij is now loading slowly on my computer and possibly causing my browser to freeze up/crash when i load a page? I disabled all my extensions to test and it's still running like shit

Also I asked Squeaky about the connection problems and he said he'd look into it if we submit support tickets with the IP addresses that aren't connecting
