PREPARING FOR IJ'S (HOPEFUL) RETURN

Alright, everyone, with the (hopeful) return of IJ on the horizon, here are a few announcements:

This fresh OOC post is dedicated to Cameron.

Tomorrow, regardless of whether or not the site is up, we will be posting a list of the major events and IC/OOCs that are scheduled in March.
- If we do get IJ back, we'll be posting the plot calendar at 11:00 AM tomorrow morning. This will save poor Marin from staying up until 3 AM formatting it.
Regarding the IC explanation for the downtime: With the Grotto party having taken place tonight (3/3/17) with characters referencing no access to the journal network, if the network comes up tonight treat it as though characters woke up on Saturday morning with functional journals.

If IJ does not come back tonight, we might be looking at an IJ-less weekend. The Quidditch game post will be posted here on DW on Sunday, and Saturday we might cave and make a Veritaserum meme.

why is this happening

my TOTALLY UNEDUCATED guess is that there's something wrong with the dns configuration and it's making it so certain people can load ij fine and certain people can't? like meggie can't load ij from her workplace anymore but she can load it from home, i can't load it from home (and i work from home so that's... all i got) but i was able to load it in a coffee shop yesterday

i THINK it's getting better??? maybe?? but i mean look at the Server Status History, this is actually much better than it was yesterday morning when 80%+ of the time IJ would come up as red, but it's still showing that half the time, connections to IJ error out

some people are just getting the errors much more frequently than others, who seem to not be getting these errors at all

yo i used to live right next to disneyland and all my roommates worked there, disney cocktails were my entire social life

They're delicious and I'm a child who loves themeing :( So whenever we pick a place to eat it's like... ok the food at this one has better reviews, but this one has cuter decor and more puns

it's nowhere near legit or cool as disney but my city has a HP bar and the drinks are both themed and delicious as heck

they gave us fresh coasters to take home instead of letting us steal the ones our dranks made gross and wet, which is about as much theft as my poor goody-goody heart can take

i've purchased a lot of drinks with souvenir glow cubes in them

the glow cubes are cute and worthwhile and i hung onto mine for no real reason

i'll put it in my whiskey one day when i want to feel magical

when i'm really bored i put my glow cubes in my poison apple cup

and pretend i'm having a really sad rave
