CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS & PLOTTING

Hello everyone, and welcome (back) to Gooseberry! We still have a couple weeks until the actual game opens, but we anticipate a lot of new characters joining us.

RULES

So the OOC comm isn't flooded with dozens of new introduction posts, please introduce your new characters here!

Remember to put your character's name in the subject line!

You can say as much or as little as you like. Consider hitting the basics like, house, classes, clubs and year, then describe their personality and interests briefly. Mention what kinds of storylines you want (friends, enemies, etc.) and get to plotting!

Then go around and reply to other peoples' introductions, establishing lines and relationships.

If you have some plot you'd like to talk to people about that involves a returning character, comment here explaining what you're planning!

Be courteous and limit yourself to only one medium/small gif or image! We don't have cuts here, so be kind to your friends who might be on mobile.

I LOVE THE SOPHKIDS and this roving band of trouble they are becoming and am very very pleased that Tuesday and Nisha seem to be getting along very well ;u;

YANCEY is going to be the big bro of Tues' prefect as we mentioned!! He is going to thoroughly enjoy embarrassing his little sisters so he will be in the wings but is otherwise a weird old boy.

Nia LOVES THESE KIDS and just hopes they STAY OUT OF TROUBLE. 😖

And Lucas is not super relevaaaant

Yancey is also in her year and YOU REPLIED YANCEY'S COMMENT I WILL HIT U UP THERE eventually.

Nisha and she will prob bump into each other over their shared acquaintence Heefbeef, as mentioned. Nini still thinks Phi is #surlygoals.

And Lucas is around but not relevant I dont think?

OKAY. Aside from Nia and Tally chatting about music...

Nisha thinks Tally's funny. And can relate to the general sense of curiosity and also being a baby sister. They have some class/club overlap so they'll see each other around, esp if Natalie is going to be hanging around the CT girl's cabin because of Marie. Um, they were both at Ilvermorny together but prooob did not interact a whole lot, I am guessing, based on how they were socially, there.

And the boys are there. Yancey will be a friendly upperclassfin.

We have discussed Nisha and Heathcliff elsewhere. They will make Pappy Stokes either proud or dead.

Lucas is in his year! Not a lot of overlap, but given the soph hivemind I'm sure they've interacted? Lucas is...still weird. Trying to be more palatable because of being a TA. Results tbd.

I imagine Nia will see him around because of Phi. He is an adorable giant.

And Yam is not relevant my poor new problem child.

Lucas and Spencer have almost complete class overlap? So they will be seeing a lot of each other although Lucas' painful shyness may have kept him off Spencer's radar? My spoopy son likes those big personalities from a distance but is easily overwhelmed. His awkwardness will prob be amped up as a result of chickabro solidarity.

Nia likes his spunk. And is also a cheerleader. Please don't get in fights Spencer.

Nisha, as I mentioned, will be a bother. She may nag him about ice skating because hey you know what's better than regular flips? Flips on ice with knives on your feet.

Yancey is around here somewhere. :S

SWEET. Cordi might endlessly bother him about TIPS AND TRICKS because he's not as scary as like, Casey and Hazel are. (He's not as scary right?)

I'd be surprised if he didn't - or if anyone didn't - find Cordi + Quentin to be a little much. x.x Poor soph class I'm so sorry we did this to you. HOWEVER, she will of course be nice to Archie and if he ever said something she'd calm down about it and try very hard to be quieter or w/e. She does try to be good to people I swear.

Cheers for Reid She finds you mildly terrifying so she won't do anything to piss you off SWEAR.

I honestly can't see Cordi liking either of them but she'll be as friendly as possible. Esp since she's now determined to befriend Kenzie's lil sister SRRY TALLY.

I think they'd get along most of the time! There might be some contention there with the ornery-ness and Nisha not appreciating debates but alll the other times that's not happening I can see them being friends! GO ROOMIES. BABY COPPERLADIES GONNA DE_STROY EVERYONE

OH SOFIA. So long as she didn't actually shoot an arrow at Heathcliff, they're probably cool. And Bianca is...pretty much right. I imagine he gets along with both of your ladies just fine!

LUNCH PROJECT TIMMEEE ok so!

I have obviously Tuesday, who's in her grade! Tuesday is also a Quidditch fanatic at the moment so Violet might not like that so much. But she would live in awe of her pranks and definitely would be SO easy to pressure to help with them. They could be friendly! They are also pb show buddies!!

Then there's Jade who is a year above her in her house. Jade thinks all these little gremlins are SO FUN and she'd cheer for Violet and her prankster ways. She's a Slytherin at heart and is bffs with Ari who knows her so they could very well cross paths; Jade will be delighted if so! (Unless Violet targets someone she loves and then she will bite back. Jade's a little protective this year. Gee I wonder why.)

Addy, who is also a bird, will be very welcoming!!! She will try very gently to make sure all misbehavior is like...manageable. Please be good :(

Ferdie has kiiind of the same attitude as head boy!!

Cor is so cute UGH. I am really liking the bounce with her and Nisha so far!! But also Cor please knock Nisha off her broom and hopefully put some sense in her head.

My other relevant character is Nia who is very excited for the baby ebonsoph girls. And Cor is a music child and also in archery so Nia will have extra overlap with her there. If you need any gentle encouragement to stomp your enemies to dust (while staying within the rules) Nia is here to provide it.

Cor is cabinmates with one of Yancey's sisters SO. He will probably become a little familiar with her?

Jade could talk circles around Heathcliff, so this is very benevolent of her. He's probably good with her dry/morose sense of humor since he lives with Cash and he doesn't get all of her jokes but thinks she's pretty funny. But also mean. Because. You know. Todd. But he's fine with her mostly~

HEY HEAD BOY AND POTIONS TA. Heathcliff thinks they're both cool and nice and is happy to talk div and gardening with them respectively~ He's...not good at Potions. So Addy may see him struggle quite a bit there. I doubt he'd ask for help, though. At least not until it was crunch time.

Heathcliff's competitive, so he'll play up the MORTAL ENEMY angle with Tuesday sometimes...but mostly would just prefer to playfully give her shit and be otherwise friendly to her.

I'm kinda in love with Tuesday ngl. They should deffo become friends. I don't think Violet will dislike people who are Quidditchy on principle, or anythimg, just roll her eyes when it comes up/walk away from the conversation/mock. But she can mock with love. Also can we call them pb show BUDDIES? IDK i'm only 5 episodes in, don't spoil me bro.

She will like Jade if they actually interact, and don't worry, her pranks aren't really MEAN pranks? She's a Slytherin but like not a Parkinson - type Slytherin.

I'm not sure she can be good Addy. I'm sorry.

Hiiiii!!!

Sooo I have some! The most obvious one is Tuesday!! They were roomies at Ilvermorny! That would kind of be a buy in for Tuesday; she's always kind of worshipped her roomies. She'll be friendly! She doesn't LOVE cooking but has a lot of practice and so CAN!

Then there is Jade who will proooobably shy away from All! This! School! Spirit! And could mock it a little or take advantage of her competitive side. BUT that's only if she catches Jade's radar which won't happen for sure!

Addy doesn't really matter

Ferdie is here to support his new bb prefects in whatever they need!

YES FRIENDS, PLEEAAASE. Tuesday loves all her babyfriends absolutely, and mostly feels like she is also only peripherally even APPROACHING cool. They all have to be weird together.

She...has a certain amount of hero worship for Reid and thinks he is THE BEST and SO TALENTED and will almost certainly try to talk to him again just to absorb some of his skill. It doesn't work like that, but I'm still sorry.

Oh my god I love Tuesday and Nisha and all the bbgirls so far. Their gang is jelling nicely.

Lucas is very important in my heart and I keep trying to think of meme questions for Jade to bug him with but yes Tuesday will probs spare him
