What's Happening Here?

Some of your classmates have been taken by Anonymous. He’s put them to sleep in hidden places in the woods. He’d taken control of the forest, and has set up a game for his Brother, to challenge Brother to prove that he loves the children more than Anonymous does. Instead, the Brother’s used all his strength to freeze time in the forest and bring you all here to help him save your friends.

Two things will slow your progress: 1) every time you exit a room, you and your companions will be teleported to a random location; and 2) with so much competing magic in the air, the membrane between life and death has become thinner. You’re not the only lost children out here.

This is our very first time running an event like this, and as such, it's very experimental! We'll see what needs to be adjusted as we go along. Thank you for your continued patience as we work to get this event running. :)

Especially for a question with a presumptive answer of "no", but I wanted to ask.

I missed the patronus event because I was on hiatus at the time, so Ivy canonically can't successfully cast a patronus charm. But she's a graduated senior and an excellent student who takes DADA, and... the ghost didn't get her wand arm, and she's got a mouthful of air left, so it would be... technically possible for her to try to cast it, right? I think that's what's gonna happen regardless of whether or not it's doomed to auto-fail, but is there any possibly she'd be able to succeed?

Like this was just such a whiff on their part. They knew there was a ghost. They knew they were going to be fighting a ghost. They went in in the worst possible formation anyway.

I'm gonna stand by this: they were just being stupid because they're tired and emotional and have reached maximum #YOLO
