What's Happening Here?

Some of your classmates have been taken by Anonymous. He’s put them to sleep in hidden places in the woods. He’d taken control of the forest, and has set up a game for his Brother, to challenge Brother to prove that he loves the children more than Anonymous does. Instead, the Brother’s used all his strength to freeze time in the forest and bring you all here to help him save your friends.

Two things will slow your progress: 1) every time you exit a room, you and your companions will be teleported to a random location; and 2) with so much competing magic in the air, the membrane between life and death has become thinner. You’re not the only lost children out here.

This is our very first time running an event like this, and as such, it's very experimental! We'll see what needs to be adjusted as we go along. Thank you for your continued patience as we work to get this event running. :)

Is anyone willing to maintain a link list of locations as they're posted? I'd prefer someone who volunteered as a NPC mod, but I mean on the other hand I know there's people like Rin who love to do menial tasks like this. :O

i didn't volunteer to NPC but i did literally volunteer for menial shit and CAN I MAKE A SPREADSHEET

You know, I was actually thinking a regular post, but if you guys want to make it a spreadsheet or gdoc or whatever so multiple people can add links as they come up, that would be great too. :O

If anyone's like "wow this subject lines are so long with everyone's name listed," you absolutely do not need to put everyone's name in the subject. I only asked for your team name in the subject. It's fine if you're doing it already, but going forward, know that you do not have to write all that for your threads.

question!! is it easier for you if we put PLACEHOLDER in the title when we're claiming the next tag so that it's excluded from the [team name] filter in the email? or do you prefer us to just keep the team name in the subject?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: You can continue to play in your current location for as long as you want, even though you've asked for a teleport roll. But once your team has been issued a new location, you will no longer receive any mod responses at your current location. Hopefully this helps, since we've had a couple people ask about about this already. :)

Here's our tentative schedule:

- The endgame event will end tomorrow night, i.e. Saturday, July 1 at 11:59 PM MT. What that basically means is we'll cease giving any more puzzles or spooky ghost encounters after that point.
- On Sunday, we'll post the aftermath of the event, which will assume everyone's been rescued by their friends. IC, this will be Saturday, June 25, 2014. We will tell you what happened IC between June 25 and July 2.
- On Monday, the summer starts! School's out!!! Fun in the sun!!!! Nobody's ever been traumatized ever!!!!! :)))
- Regarding backtagging: we will do our best to help people a) wrap up their scenes, and b) get to their friends; but we can't drag it out forever. Please do us a favour and get moving on rescuing your assigned rescuees by Saturday, so we can try to get everyone's emotional rescue scenes in by Sunday.
