What's Happening Here?

Some of your classmates have been taken by Anonymous. He’s put them to sleep in hidden places in the woods. He’d taken control of the forest, and has set up a game for his Brother, to challenge Brother to prove that he loves the children more than Anonymous does. Instead, the Brother’s used all his strength to freeze time in the forest and bring you all here to help him save your friends.

Two things will slow your progress: 1) every time you exit a room, you and your companions will be teleported to a random location; and 2) with so much competing magic in the air, the membrane between life and death has become thinner. You’re not the only lost children out here.

This is our very first time running an event like this, and as such, it's very experimental! We'll see what needs to be adjusted as we go along. Thank you for your continued patience as we work to get this event running. :)

I mean, it doesn't really matter? We've been giving characters clues that are related to their loved ones just because we figured that would be more emotionally resonant, but there's literally no reason we can't give people clues related to characters they're not thinking of, lol.

(That was actually the original plan, I was going to make all the clues beforehand and designate where they go, but I realized I can actually handle all of this solo, so I've been trying to give characters stuff relating to people they care about.)

We can try to give Cricket a Casey-specific thing later, if you think it would help? Just to put him on her mind. (Kas, do you have any ideas here?) But mechanics-wise, it literally doesn't matter who characters are thinking of so long as they can help contribute information over the journals.

a really raunchy novel, or just the cover ripped from a really raunchy novel or whatever. (this is a serious suggestion. cricket got casey into reading in the first place because he saw a sexy book poking out of her bag. đź‘Ť)

or a piece of paper that just has "W T F??????" written in really big letters, or hugo's red kitty hoody? casey also has a little gold crucifix necklace he never takes off, if anon felt like getting supernaturally ~handsy~

casey is a being of sophistication. he and i have that in common.

Thank you for the info!!! I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't mess things up for Cricket to be actively searching for a rescuee from a different group.

No rush or need for Cricket to find a trashy romance novel (lol) if it doesn't really matter clue/plot wise.

This is so fun!!! Thank you guys!!
