Pre-Opening Introductions
INTRODUCTIONS
Welcome to Gooseberry High! This is the catch-all post for all character introductions before the game's opening on September 1st. Please comment below telling everyone about your characters, respond to their comments, goof off, plot, all of it! ♥
Katya
Katya is from Russia as in she moved to the US, Alaska actually, in 2008 after the death of her father by the secret magical mafia. Not that she really tells anyone about that little fact. Her mother is obsessed with finding life in space, she actually has a degree in that so it isn't quite as crazy. Her mother remarried another Russian, this time a super rich one so Katya has more money than she knows what the hell to do with. Being the Azurcrest Prefect this year, by some stoke of luck, Katya is just happy hanging around and being loud. Basically if you have something super fun going on, she would like to be part of it. She's in the archery and boating club because who wouldn't want to play with boats and shoot people?
Basically she's overly friendly, a tad too loud at times and likes to wear really expensive things. Oh and she has a taking crow that she hauls around with her. Because why the hell not? Loves spooky stories and breaking into abandoned places just to have a look around. Anything and everything she'd love to have thrown at her!

I have Diego Morales, who's a year above Katya in Azurcrest. He's warm and friendly, but also really impulsive, needy and insecure. He loves people and good times, though, and is a staple of Gooseberry's party scene. He'll proooobably flirt with Katya quite a bit. He's also a hipster folk musician and is more than a little ridiculous.
Then I have Reid Wainwright, who's in her year in Coppertale. They share Archery and a few classes, I believe! Reid's really icy and unfriendly, but honestly just has bad social skills. If Katya's nice to him, his good opinion is easy to gain.
Then I have Calvin, who's a year younger in Ribbonfin, and is a Hogwarts transfer student. He's an academic overachiever, currently holds the title of Most Unpleasant Ribbonfin. He's whiny and combative, and to most people, simply not much fun. I don't think Katya's likely to care about him too much, but let me know if you think otherwise!

Oh she will most likely be very happy to flirt around and do her best to be a staple of the party scene too simply because that's exactly what she wants to be. Ridiculous is perfect, she makes fun of herself all the time especially with the Russian bit. He might have to expect a crazed Russian girl flirting a bit. Hipster folk is always good.
Katya is rather nice to everyone, sure if he's icy she will do everything she can to get him to open up a little and try to be super friendly. She apparently isn't the greatest at archery and tends to talk more than shoot but she can be super good if she tries, that's a big if.
She can at least try to be nice to Calvin, try being the key word!

Then Reid probably likes her! He honestly does like people, so if she's friendly he'll just go silently take the spot next to her in Archery and let her talk at him. He'll open up with a little effort, but Reid opening up is kind of... jumbled. He's bad with words.
WELL if she tries consistently, he'll be a little warmer. He'll always have those sharp edges, but he won't irrationally think Katya hates him!

First up is Sylvester Stoker, who's in her year in Coppertale. He's an alpha male shit of a person and guaranteed to butt heads with a prefect, but on the flip side, Katya seems more chill than the average prefect, so they might get along? Sy does like to flirt with hot girls, so she'd definitely be on the receiving end of that.
Next is Ravinder Dhaliwal, who's a Ribbonfin senior and prefect. He's a straight-laced LARP nerd who is actually pretty easygoing. I think Katya would remind him of his sister, actually, being a wild personality who's also a pretty smart go-getter. And they're both into stargazing and stories, so maybe they'd get along?
Last is Wilhelmina Tran, Ebonhide senior. I think they'd clash—Mina is uptight and serious, not at all inclined to mock herself, and she wouldn't quite know what to make of Katya... Probably she'd assume Katya is just a rich spoiled party girl and finds attention-seeking Azurcrests to be pretty annoying. 8(

Secretly I think Katya wants to be in LARP but for real has the idea that they are all super nerds. Cause she isn't a nerd. No way. She loves stars and stories so at the very, very least they can bond over that.
Yeah, she isn't too much into the super uptight people but she will still be really friendly if that helps at all. And well, Katya is pretty much the rich party girl but she's pretty cool too! She swears!

ADORABLE RUSSIAN IS VERY HOT. Sy will wonder if she's secretly mocking him, lol, but if people are able to roll with what a dolt he is, Sy can loosen up and have a lot of fun. He's definitely going to hit on her at the next party.
omg if she even hints that she thinks LARP is interesting, Ravi will talk to her for an hour about all the different REALLY COOL THINGS they do like... glue on elf ears and hit each other with foam swords. OK, so maybe you've got a point, Katya.
Katya being so cool and friendly just makes her more hateable to Mina, lmao. But this could be interesting since Mina is so hard-wired to expect hostility that she might eventually get worn down by what a nice person Katya is 8| what is her sneaky russian agenda 8|||||

She would so never mock him. Except with bad American accents or something only with hilarity in mind. All the hitting on, she can take it.
I think Katya would love elf ears. Like super duper wear them all the time if she could. She would be miserable at any sort of actual LARPing because the idea of having to stay in character or focused on something wouldn't work with her but she'd love to talk about it anyway.
Well, she can try to be more grumpy cat if it'll help Mina. She's so not sneaky! She's totally sneaky Commie.
