Oh bless him! Dom hasn't fully realised his own identity yet but even then he can't help but grin at the cute boy who doesn't flirt.

It means I don't have to cry. No one wants to see a British person cry at a lack of American actors on the internet.

I literally once picked a South African cricketer to play the very Scottish Seeker I was writing. I am pretty damn good at obscure PBs ;)

Cricket is an obsession of mine. I'm very English in that regard, at which point my muses kind of look despairingly at me and wonder what the hell I'm doing here...

There was this RIDICULOUS soapy drama set in a school called Waterloo Road - it aired on the BBC and ended a couple of years ago. The school randomly shifted from a random city in England to just outside Glasgow and I don't think it was even acknowledged, that's how silly this show was.

Yeah, but you know how some people got really nervous about britpicking? I was once britpicking proofreader as a favour to some non Brit mods once. Now I'm all OH HELL NOW IT IS TIME FOR KARMA.

oh man i LOVE shows that do stupid shit like that. Like how Meredith's children on grey's Anatomy just randomly change age at the drop of a hat and sometimes disappear for years at a time, that shit is my favourite shit in the entire universe.

I only get nervy about Britpicking when I know there's a Brit around, so fml EXCEPT I DON'T HAVE TO BE IN THIS GAME HA HA HA

There was also an episode where a girl tried to get drunk on ethanol from the science lab and the BBC had to put out a freaking apology because some idiot tried to copy it!

There is a reason why I play a Québécois and a girl from a city that was all up in the shit of the Revolutionary War, lol.

DON'T WORRY we are very, very mellow about all those little regional details. I mean I think the only time I was in Chicago was for a layover? And I still get to fail at being British with Calvin.

I DO HAVE A TON OF REAL LIFE DIEGO APPROPRIATE KNOWLEDGE THOUGH. Except then I went and made him really isolated from muggles? Good job, Meggie.

I've literally been to the States once - I spent spring break in Colorado with my friend who lives there when I was working in Quebec. I've been waiting for my passport to run out before I plan a return trip so I don't have to show the TSA certain stamps XD
