OOC: IJ DOWNTIME PARTY

Hello, Gooseberry High!

According to the InsaneJournal Facebook, we're looking at a site downtime that will last at least for the rest of the day, and possibly longer. EDIT: UNTIL FUCKING FRIDAY so prepare yourselves for a week of memes ._.

Cheryl has kindly suggested that we can provide the IC reasoning of "Larke and O'Hare were trying to understand the journals and accidentally broke them" for why no one posted anything for ~2 days (I KNOW, I KNOW, I DON'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT EITHER), so for IC reasons, we can say that the journals temporarily turned into non-magical journals and you terrible children just had to pay attention in class and hike to talk to each other. :(

Until the site comes back up, you can all feel free to use this post for OOC discussion/plotting/complaining. For my sanity, please resist the urge to comment on the other posts in these comms, because Dreamwidth is supposed to just exist as backup for the game (lmao i obviously haven't done backups for a week, sorry). You can post without signing in if you don't wish to register a DW account at this time, but there's no invite codes, so HEY WHY NOT.

• Activity Check will be delayed for at least 24 hours after the site comes back. Of our active players, the only people who haven't completed AC yet are Cheryl, Josie, Roz and... Marin... so FYI Cheryl, Josie and Roz, you will not get kicked out of the game. We're still debating Marin's fate.

We're keeping this incredibly simple, especially since IJ is still lying face down in a shallow puddle and I don't want to work and number the whole cast list for rng pairings. :(

• Make a comment with the names of your characters. Note if you have any restrictions (gender, for instance) that you don't want to talk crackships for.


• Then reply to someone else's comment explaining how you think one of your characters would have started a relationship with theirs. For instance, you could say, "Hey, remember when Cathy and Stu went on that walk? What if Stu had tripped and gotten a concussion and Cathy carried him back and they fell in love."


• From there, the two of you can chatter about how this relationship would go! Would it be true love forever? Would it crash and burn in a week?
