Today is the last day to submit any school trip ideas! Tomorrow voting will open. Everyone will have one week, and one vote per character! The results will determine where each class goes for a fun weekend of leisure and learning at the end of November.

The plot calendar goes up on Tuesday the 31st at 8:00 AM MT! Happy Halloween! 🎃 If it ends up having to go up later than usual, we'll let you know tomorrow evening.

I need to buckle down and get to finishing said plot calendar, but it's another chance to check in and ask: Does anyone have any requests or suggestions? There will, of course, be the Gooseberry staples such as a Grotto party, another dance (the cotillion is happening), and the return of the anon post!
- Furthermore, if you submitted ideas to the plot suggestions drop box, I'll be using those. :) If you have any suggestions you'd like to keep secret, send them that way.
- Remember, you're welcome to make small, non-supernatural events about your own characters that other people can sign up for!
The Wanted Lines meme will be posted November 1st.

And our skaters are in luck: The lake will freeze by early December. That's right, it's gonna start snowing next month. In the real world there's already snow in the mountains in Utah, BUT I'M SPARING YOUR CHILDREN THAT FATE.

Hi Here are some random ones:

It's getting colder, so [Character] decides to light the fire place in their cabin, only to have the whole room fill with smoke! After the chaos has died down and Mr. Covington investigates, it's discovered that some crafty squirrels were using the stoppered chimney to store their walnuts for winter.

[Character] winds up befriending a crow after offering it most of their sandwich at lunch a few weeks ago. Today they wake up to find a bit of shiny plastic on their windowsill - a broken blutooth ear piece.

[Magical Rudiments Character] spends the evening in the infirmary, sick with food poisoning. This is why you don't eat an entire batch of raw cookie dough.

[Character] finds a crudely drawn treasure map stuffed behind a mirror in one of the restrooms in the lodge. Following the trail is difficult, but in the end their efforts pay off...sort of. In a shoebox, they find a signed photo of David Hasselhoff and a mixtape featuring some of his "greatest" "hits."

[Character] finds a detailed, multi-page, likely penned by a freshman, connecting Goosey to the MACUSA. The essay goes off the rails halfway through when the author detours into trying to explain why Taco Tuesday is a cover-up conspiracy.

Also I was thinking the juniors' mini-patronus practice could be this Thursday. Idk if it's worth doing an ic/ooc for?

Aaaand that's up to you! There's a small event I have planned on Thursday that might restrict a few characters from participating (but not Lucas he's golden), but I promise it'll be worth it.

i'm extremely extremely extremely bad at coming up with plots, but if anyone has an idea where you need/want my characters for anything (IDK WHY YOU WOULD BUT) ................. awesome, pls tell me, we can do the thing

Ooh, I had a question! Will the rolls be done for the remaining chars in the Patronus thread, or will they now need to wait for the next time? Assuming that they won't be successful for now?

Yes, we'll get to them! It's been hectic with Marin out of town, and I always have a LOT of mod work at the end of the month. You might not get last minute patronus rolls, Pearl's trades or dropbox responses for a few more days.

So does this mean people who fail at life and putting in for patronuses for their 3 chars who haven't cast yet still have time?
