CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS & PLOTTING

Hello everyone, and welcome (back) to Gooseberry! We still have a couple weeks until the actual game opens, but we anticipate a lot of new characters joining us.

RULES

So the OOC comm isn't flooded with dozens of new introduction posts, please introduce your new characters here!

Remember to put your character's name in the subject line!

You can say as much or as little as you like. Consider hitting the basics like, house, classes, clubs and year, then describe their personality and interests briefly. Mention what kinds of storylines you want (friends, enemies, etc.) and get to plotting!

Then go around and reply to other peoples' introductions, establishing lines and relationships.

If you have some plot you'd like to talk to people about that involves a returning character, comment here explaining what you're planning!

Be courteous and limit yourself to only one medium/small gif or image! We don't have cuts here, so be kind to your friends who might be on mobile.

Concept: Wannabe paparazzo is looking flawless, like her dreams.

· London has an identical twin sister, but keen eyes CAN tell them apart.
· Yancey Montgomery is her half brother
· Very personable, friendly, and so very talkative.
· Previously went to Ilvermorny, and was a Wampus with her twin sister but they are FINALLY separated now
· She is so nosy. So nosy. The more you want to keep her out of something, THE MORE APPEALING IT IS. There is no such thing as not her business, and if she’s breathing, she’s gossiping.
· Boy crazy and in love with love. Takes all those stupid teen magazine quizzes, daydreams about dates, etc.
· London is an enthusiastic and prolific photographer. She tells adult types that she wants to grow up to be a photojournalist, but she really wants to be a paparazzo.
· In fact, she’s practicing right here at GB! London likes to take pictures of her classmates, the juicier the better. She keeps a scrapbook of all the best pictures, complete with notes about the who/what/whens. (That said, unless something explicitly happened very publically, I’m never going to assume London has any particular pictures of any characters without permission)
· Her girliness might make it seem like she doesn’t want to get her hands dirty, but not so. She will definitely mud wrestle you, just… let her change out of her nice clothes.
· Has a sudden temper, which makes her easy to rile, but it dissipates quickly.
· She’s kind of an airhead and… not altogether super bright.
· She is in div because she already has twin-senses (no, they don’t) so she might be a Seer (she isn’t) and it might help with her future career (it won’t).
· She loves cute office supplies and stationery!!

I'm really buying them as the class that drugged, stalked, shipped and (pretend) murdered the fuck out of the upperclassmen last year.

to be fair to them they got used as Owls and nobody knows their names

I'm starting to think Braydyn is just what the upperclassmen call any freshman they don't like.

So we briefly talked about Archie and London being friends if you're still into that! Archie imagines his creeper tendencies are COLLECTING DATA, but needless to say he sees nothing wrong with London trampling peoples' privacy. They can compare notes.

Mackenzie is the senior Azurbabe prefect and a fellow cheerleader. She mostly just thinks London's a scamp, and only steps in if there's like... a real conflict, someone's super upset by her, etc. SHE'S NOT HERE TO POLICE PERSONALITY QUIRKS.

Reid is far more distressed by... all of this. WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THESE KIDS.

Calvin's secretive and private, and if London tries to get in his business he's gonna haaaaaate it. Leave him to conduct his messy personal life in PEACE. He just wants ONE YEAR without someone taking INVASIVE PHOTOGRAPHS of him. Her nosiness makes him super duper uncomfortable.

Spencer will take it better and probably thinks London's a nice girl! So friendly!! So pink!!! Because he's a little thick when it comes to reading people.

I am so down for them to be buddies. London will be happy to swap "DATA" with him.

Omg, London probably thinks Kenzie is so cool and looks at her with starry eyes. She wants to grow up to be like her =3

Reid is.... probably very right about these children.

Tuesday loves Paris, and her loyalty probably lies more there if there was ever ~twin arguments~ but they should be friends too, please BECAUSE Tuesday would absolutely do dumb tricks so that London could get awesome pics of her.

Jade...again, thinks all these lil hellions are AMAZING and is so happy she's in Azurcrest. She will feed her fake rumors all the time. That's not a friendly thing to do but Jade thinks it's Funny.

Addy is more concerned about this and will gently remind her to only take pictures of things that her business. Please be good. Oh god.

Ferdie will...also remind her of this, only more officially. He also is in Divination and will be encouraging of her pursuit of this! He'll be nice also because he knows Yancey!

Omg LODNON WILL DEF BE FRIENDS WITH TUESDAY. She will gladly take pictures of her doing all the dumb tricks and will not in any way discourage anything dangerous. Gotta get the shot, do it again!

London loves Jade and thinks she is a ~cool older girl~ and will believe every fake rumor she feeds her, every time, especially the juicy ones.

Addy is so sweet! London likes her (but isn't going to listen!)

Lacking in a newly minted soph means I don't have a TON for you, but I figure I should at least pop by to say oh dear god, these girls aidsgnasd. There's club overlap with Hazel (Crafting and, at a distance, Cheer), and I feel like she will... not entirely know how to handle London. BUTT OUT, GIRL. (She'll still probably talk to her about boys to some extent if she wants, though). Ramon has only Crafting overlap with her but is an eligible flirty bachelor, and Jaime also has 0 overlap besides the fact that he's on the Azurcrest quid team and is also and eligible bachelor, and will probably wink at her. They can just talk a lot. He also likes getting his picture taken... Phi has zero, please don't even look at her London :((

cor wants to know all of london's hot takes on who's flirting with who, please. constantly. she probably brushed her off at the beginning because airhead, oh great, but has warmed up bc she loves pear so much and london's actually pretty great.

paige is a year ahead but doing the div thing and THEY CAN SCRAPBOOK TOGETHER, WHICH IS SO. MUCH. FUN. she thinks london's photography hobby is so interesting and impressive. a lot of it flies over her head.

kurt's only looking out for her tangentially because she's his roomie's little sister, but they probably don't cross paths, and she and casey almost certainly don't.

London will DEFO share all the hot goss on who is flirting with who and who is definitely going to hook up.

Omg they need to hang out even though together they will be So Much. But they can SWAP CUTE SCRAPBOOKING SUPPLIES!!

It's all fun and games until someone snaps a pick of you making out with your girlfriend in the lodge, Kurt.

Lachlan's a fellow Azurcrest but they don't have much overlap. He likes friendly, talkative people (he doesn't mind never getting a word in) and probably likes London just fine unless she's turned her nosiness his direction in the past. He's a pretty private guy and has some things he'd rather people didn't dig into. Up to you!

Casper...does not like her. If he catches her spying on people, he'll give her the riot act and take points and threaten to confiscate her camera. (Even if he's probably not allowed to do that.) SORRY. He's in Boating with her and probably ignores her.

Cole's a fellow artistic type and also doesn't mind forceful personalities. While he doesn't think she should be taking pictures of people's private moments on purpose, he probably isn't aware of what she's doing and probably can't throw that many stones since he draws everyone in his sketchbook. He'll see her at Craft Club! He also went to Ilvermorny with her and his brother was in her house, but I doubt there was a ton of interaction for them back then.

And Heathcliff's a fellow temperamental div kid! He's pretty friendly and he probably likes her. He doesn't think much of her gossip/paparazzi act because he doesn't really have any secrets and he likes having his picture taken. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL, GUYS? He probably won't care unless she upsets his roommates or something.

London likes Lachlan's accent and his hair, and that is enough for her to talk to him (at him?).

Oh Casper. XD I highly doubt she likes him either, and if they ever clash, omg it would be explosive bc HE CAN'T TAKE HER CAMERA!!!!!!!!!

She is so excited for craft club!!!!

I can see them getting along! They can be friendly div buddies, and she will take his picture because he's pretty, and try to badly plot who he should date.

Okay so Nisha and London were Wampus roommates! So they probably know each other?? And considering they are both nosy monsters I am guessing they probably get along? Nisha is going to harass the twins whenever she doesn't know wtf is up with Gooseberry.

GOD I AM SO EXCITED FOR THESE TWO. Also so excited that this school only has terrible twins. Something must happen to your personality when you have to share your womb.

ANYWAYS, Riley is adopting this child. The only problem she has with her scrapbook is that there aren't enough pictures of her in there. Take more salacious pictures of Riley Mae, please. This is not a protective older sibling kind of adoption, this is a molding you into a little me so my legacy can live on kind of adoption. Because it's Riley. They can pretend to know Spanish together!

Get in the soph girl gang with Dinah, who doesn't quite Get her and thinks she's kind of weird, but also thinks that's because she's too weird to understand people. Clearly London is super normal! And cool! Her hobbies are very acceptable!!

AHHHHH. Like I said on Pear's, I love their faces AND them! They're gonna be so fun.

Carolina is in the same year as London, and she's in Boating with her (as well as classes too). She might find her a little overwhelming, but she's also in a band with Tally and Marie so. She probably will just find her fun. Please don't take her picture, she requests (I request London DO IT) Maybe light friends???

Vee thinks she's as awesome as Pear is, and since Pear is her baby cheerleader AND London cheers, she will adopt London too. They're in EC together, and Vee will dote on her and loves her talkativeness and enthusiasm. (I also give total permission for her to photo Vee lol)
