CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS & PLOTTING

Hello everyone, and welcome (back) to Gooseberry! We still have a couple weeks until the actual game opens, but we anticipate a lot of new characters joining us.

RULES

So the OOC comm isn't flooded with dozens of new introduction posts, please introduce your new characters here!

Remember to put your character's name in the subject line!

You can say as much or as little as you like. Consider hitting the basics like, house, classes, clubs and year, then describe their personality and interests briefly. Mention what kinds of storylines you want (friends, enemies, etc.) and get to plotting!

Then go around and reply to other peoples' introductions, establishing lines and relationships.

If you have some plot you'd like to talk to people about that involves a returning character, comment here explaining what you're planning!

Be courteous and limit yourself to only one medium/small gif or image! We don't have cuts here, so be kind to your friends who might be on mobile.

Oh Quentin. Oh dear. I don't have a ton here since I'm still sophomore-less. The most notable is probably Heathcliff, who's a fellow Coppertale and Archery kid. He probably can't hold a discussion/argument with Quentin because that's just not his thing and he's not the brightest dude, but I'm pretty sure he's learned to dismiss everything he says because of the general consensus that he's a nutter. :') If his friends think you're full of shit, you probably are and he's not going to worry about it. SORRY KID. But he'll be friendly and overeager as always.

Apart from that, he's got Dueling with Casper (who can't stand him or his bullshit theories) and Gaming/Outdoor Exploration with Lachlan (who...definitely doesn't believe anything he says and has probably given up trying to talk to him). He has no overlap with Cole. Which is probably good because Cole is the most likely to listen to him.

Cordi has huge heart eyes at Hazel and think she's awesome and DOES KNOW EVERYTHING OMG. Fangirling, brb. Omg they have enough in common aside from year that Hazel is gonna have to put up with Cordi mildly freaking out at her a lot.

FLIRT AWAY, RAMON. THEY CAN FLIRT IN SEVERAL LANGUAGES.

YAY JAIME I think that would be really nice for her.

She will cheer for him ALL THE TIME and for that face in that icon she will probably wink and bad-flirt but mostly CHEER AT HIM. EVEN OUTSIDE OF GAMES.

Well technically she doesn't run in any circle yet SO HI COLE.

THANK YOU RAMON, like... he might complain a lot but I trust Ramon to roll his eyes and tell Calvin to suck it up. Calvin definitely needs some work in order to get on Ramon's level, but he's determined to get there. I'm so excited for Calvin to be a bad influence on Ramon. :')

I will brainstorm a funny way for Calvin to suggest SOCIALIZATION.

Vi draws the line at causing physical pain so like...no worries there. She'll think Mackenzie is pretty cool I THINK.

I imagine she remembers Calvin but only enough to put a name to the face and be like "yeah, you were kind of a dick as I recall, how did you get put in Camp School Hufflepuff?"

She will be recruiting Archie at some point I am positive.

I AGREE. Violet isn't going to like, despite anyone based on their Quidditch playing, or anything. More like, she'll roll her eyes about it and walk away from it and generally give them shit about it if they're friends. And if anyone ever discovers that 50% of her hatred for Quidditch is fear of heights and flying, then she'll get real weird about them knowing that. BUT OTHERWISE SHE'S NOT GONNA GO OUT OF HER WAY TO BE A BITCH TO QUIDDITCH PLAYERS. And she is EVER up for Trouble.

Poor Lucas. Violet will probably do both. Possibly simultaneously. And it won't be genuine because she never needs help on her homework (until she does if this school kicks her in the nuts, we'll see.)

Lachlan was in her sister's year at Hogwarts, but she's a Gryffindor so idk if that helps in them knowing each other at all. She'll probably be more like 'o you look vaguely familiar' than anything. Hmmmmmmmm.

She promises to be v. impressed by the shooting. She's fascinated that you guys have this club, Fit Older Fox Boy can give her some pointers if he wants to. STAY AWAY FROM HER, COLE, YOU'RE TOO PRECIOUS FOR HER TO GO NEAR.

I NEED TO DO MY CHARACTER INTRO RESPONSES AND STUFF BUT!!! Jeffy! Is! So! Excited!!! (Jeffy is always excited, but it's ONE OF HIS CHASER BROS! AS CAPTAIN!!!)

I would love it if they did some kind of team building stuff? Jeffy wants to do trust falls (Jeffy honey....... some of your teammates are much smaller than you). Because they're such a cute team and I want to interact more with Azurquid. They could do like regular team meals just for BONDING!!! and being BEST FRIENDS!!!

Ahhhhh it's gonna be so cute :,) Jaime appreciates Jeffy's excitability. But yeah!! I'm going to jack Leo's family dinners (or whatever meals) some for sure because... how can you not :( I was thinking there would be some physical ones and also just some goobery silly ones because Azurcrest anything requires goobery silliness.

I AM ALSO IN NEED OF DOING RESPONSES but I am going to agree on everything I really super duper want to do all the adorable team bonding time stuff it is why I wanted a Quid kid so badly. ;n; SO YES PLEASE to trust falls and team meals and all the goobery adorable things you can think of~~~~ ;n;

OKAY so entering Y2, the Coppertale Quidditch team is actually in a pretty good state! They have an experienced captain, Seeker and one of the Beaters, one reserve bumping up to starter, and some newer kids who are not TOTALLY BRAND NEW. Sy's always enjoyed being in charge, but this year he's going to more earnestly figure out what that means versus just yelling at people and scheduling six practices per week. He'll try to lean on Reid and Roxie more, and ask them for advice. Be afraid. Sy has a lot of faith in Ana, but may be tougher on her this year, as he's considering her the prime candidate for team captain next year.

He'll trust Roxie to take point when it comes to being the boss in a duo with Charlie. And Sy will have his hands full dealing with his new Chaser babies: Heathcliff and Nisha! He's going to be tough on you to get you all working as a flawless team. Dinah, you'll be working with them too, but (UNLESS WE GET ANOTHER RESERVE) you might also get put through your paces trying out Keeper and Seeker since Sy knows they'll be really boned if Reid or Ana get taken out.

Sadly, Sy's never been much of a bonding activities kind of guy, but he got to see firsthand how Leo and Clem ran their teams, so... who knows??? We might need some IC cajoling, but Sy will do anything for the sake of winning :C

Responses to these things take WAY longer than I ever expect?? BUT YES ok def cute bonding, I'll see what I can come up with and we can put our heads together to make them gross cute :(

Also Jaime is going to try SO HARD to not just be a pushover because he wants them to love him :((((( but also he wants to be a good captain. I'm so excited about this team

· London has an identical twin sister, but keen eyes CAN tell them apart.
· Yancey Montgomery is her half brother
· Very personable, friendly, and so very talkative.
· Previously went to Ilvermorny, and was a Wampus with her twin sister but they are FINALLY separated now
· She is so nosy. So nosy. The more you want to keep her out of something, THE MORE APPEALING IT IS. There is no such thing as not her business, and if she’s breathing, she’s gossiping.
· Boy crazy and in love with love. Takes all those stupid teen magazine quizzes, daydreams about dates, etc.
· London is an enthusiastic and prolific photographer. She tells adult types that she wants to grow up to be a photojournalist, but she really wants to be a paparazzo.
· In fact, she’s practicing right here at GB! London likes to take pictures of her classmates, the juicier the better. She keeps a scrapbook of all the best pictures, complete with notes about the who/what/whens. (That said, unless something explicitly happened very publically, I’m never going to assume London has any particular pictures of any characters without permission)
· Her girliness might make it seem like she doesn’t want to get her hands dirty, but not so. She will definitely mud wrestle you, just… let her change out of her nice clothes.
· Has a sudden temper, which makes her easy to rile, but it dissipates quickly.
· She’s kind of an airhead and… not altogether super bright.
· She is in div because she already has twin-senses (no, they don’t) so she might be a Seer (she isn’t) and it might help with her future career (it won’t).
· She loves cute office supplies and stationery!!
