Hey guys! We're going to start seeing people rescued from their dreams preeeetty soon, which is exciting, of course, but also poses some problems and questions. Here are our thoughts and notes:
- With more characters being awake, please don't overload yourself! People will still be solving puzzles, and inactive characters can slow down rescuer threads dramatically.
- As such, if your character gets rescued and you don't want to have them participate in the game, there will be an option to have them wait in a safe space.
- They can either be too weak or still asleep, and therefore unable to help even if they wanted to.
- On their next teleport, they will then be safely taken to a location where they can be looked after and no one will need to fear for their safety.
- We highly recommend not having any more than three active rescuers at a time.
- We don't want to wake up any characters who you're not ready to have out and bout. So please reply below with a) if you're ready for a character to be rescued, b) who that would be.
- We can't guarantee sooner rescues just because you ask for it, since timing depends on how your rescuers are doing.
- If your group gets too large (6+) they're liable to get split up. If your group hits 8+, they will absolutely be split up.
