UPDATES: PLEASE READ THIS!!!

UPDATES:
  • The endgame event will be split in two: the victims plot will be posted Saturday June 24th, and the rescuers plot with all the spooky puzzles Marin is building will be posted Sunday June 25th. Despite these time discrepancies, the event will be taking place at midnight tonight in-world.

  • REGARDING RESCUERS: please keep in mind that rescuers have activity requirements in order to unlock clues. If you don't post regularly with them to your group thread, you will hold back your group from making progress. Please read THIS COMMENT from Marin about how the event will work.
    • To give you an idea: each section of the event will require each member posts at least once before the group can continue to the next section. This might not sound like a lot, but we anticipate that you'll want to go through about a dozen sections over the course of the week, to get the full impact of the event.

    • If this ends up becoming an issue, you can contact the mods for help, or we may pop in and inquire what's going on if we see a group thread that's stalled for a couple days.

    • If you're overwhelmed, don't be afraid to ask the mods to woodsnap your character and make them a victim instead. We also have a means by which to split large groups, which we will only do without your permission if the numbers reach 6+ (this will be a random event in these cases). We have some cool, spooky means by which to do so that would not only lighten your load, but also would be fun to play!

  • If your victim doesn't have a confirmed rescuer, we'll randomize someone to find them. No one's being left behind. If your rescuer doesn't have a group, then we will be randomizing them on the day of the event. If you do not want to be randomized, make your arrangements now. Please check THIS SPREADSHEET for the current groups. Make your plans either below or on the EVENT PLOTTING POST. Remember, groups can be as few as 2 people! Also, if at all possible, please have no more than five rescuees per group.

  • Graduation will be posted sometime late this afternoon because I have to make a bunch of not-fun maps!!!

  • Following the endgame plot's conclusion, we'll be making some more announcements about changes in Year 2 regarding mechanics and the game setting. We'll also try to give you firm dates on things like when we'll reveal the new cast list, when will we release TAs and club presidents, when holds will open, etc.

  • While we won't be hosting a plot calendar, there will be a post available in the near future for everyone to plan out any IC/OOC events they'd like to run in July.

  • If you plan on dropping a character over the summer, please let us know as soon as possible so we can replace their name on the cast list! It'd really help your mods out. ♥ You can keep playing them until the end of July even if you alert us of your intentions now. Next year, we're going to be tougher on inactive characters, so summer's a good time to think about what you can keep up with.

THAT IS WILD. HOW DO YOU DO IT? I don't know why my lady characters never seem to click like my dude characters, but I've considered trying again.
