a) I'm a big fan of mix-and-match but consider that american flag would complement ari's only beach outfit

b) this made me remember all of a sudden that my bff went to high school in rural north carolina and the class colors were like "denim" "camo" "stars and stripes" and "hunting orange" instead of red/blue/green

growing up, i used to have a neighbor down the road who had a giant flagpole smack-dab in the middle of his front yard from which he would proudly hang his rebel flag from. most everyone else in the neighborhood were sensible and decent people and we used to call him The Redneck and we wouldn't invite him to neighborhood parties because he was trashy and embarrassing. he was forced to move out a few years ago after he cheated on his wife with his wife's sister. :^) BUT other than that, i've never seen a rebel flag displayed in my current city. if you go to the more rural areas just outside our town, though... ho boy. we were looking for houses around there because the real estate is cheaper but NOPE NOPE NOPE.
