Apr. 18th, 2017 06:48 pmchoneychurchHey everyone! One more (less dramatic) update. I'm going out of town from Thursday to Sunday because I'm going to C2E2 in Chicago! I'm going to be staying with Rin (♥ ♥ ♥) and dragging her along too, so we'll both be less available than usual. We're hoping to poke at game stuff at night, but we'll also be with non-Gooseberry friends (gross), so we probably won't be around a ton.
If you're going to need mine during that time, let me know and we can discuss handwaving or getting stuff done ahead of time. Otherwise, feel free to poke mine on the Anon post, assume they're attending the Quidditch match, etc. I'll get to everything as I can! And so will Rin. I mean, probably.

This post is to let you all know that Rin and I have decided to drop Gavin and Garrett Ogletree. We really appreciate everyone that interacted with them or plotted things with them or just liked them, but we've been having trouble finding their voices and developing them as characters since we brought them into the game. After a lot of conversations about it, we decided that this was just the best option for us. :( Sorry.
I hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone too much, but we just thought we should let everyone know what was going on, since they'll be dropping off the list sometime soon.
Buuuut don't worry! Rin and I aren't going anywhere. You're stuck with us. ♥

I'm going to have a new baby (by new baby I mean new character baby lol) soon so I'll be rambling about that in the near future but I just wanted to share with you something at my parent's house. Also sorry I'll not be replying to everything like ten years later anymore.
I went and looked on our fridge and saw an unfamiliar magnet! I asked my mom about it, she was pretty whatever about it - not sure who she got it from, where it's from, when she got it, whatever. Mysterious~

Nov. 14th, 2016 11:12 pmguthriegazetteAnnnnd it's Rin again! I thought it would be a really great idea to app two characters at once into a new game while traveling both weekends! It's worked out ok though :)
This is Asher! Some key points about him include:
+ Senior Ribbonfin
+ He has a near eidetic memory so he is creepy good at remembering stuff; but he's also just a nerd so a good student
+ His mom runs a big fancy cosmetics company for both magical and non-magical peeps called Crystal Cosmetics
+ His dad is a Muggle TV news anchor in NYC
+ He is writing a school newsletter all on his own! Please let me know if you'd like to include anything in it (I'm still working out how I want the publishing mechanics to go). I heard a certain someone might be good at an advice column ;)
+ He totally did a family newsletter when he was a little kid called The Guthrie Gazette so if you can somehow find this out and make fun of him that would be great
+ He's really great at karaoke

lilwitchhazelHey guys! I'm Rin, friend of Katie :) I've got little Miss Hazel here and a certain Guthrie who I'll intro later! I'm new to the game but have been in and out of various forms of RP for a really long time (~15 years, yikes), so I'll do my best! I'm an adult-type person who is a software developer in Chicago, but originally from the San Francisco Bay Area with a rather long respite in Texas. I have a cat named Rowan and I'm a huge freaking nerd (surprise). I can be a little shy but please don't let that deter you!
A bit about Hazel, who is a crazy pants:
+ Copptertale Sophomore
+ Final member of the cheer squad for Coppertale (GOTTA GET THOSE QUIDDITCH WINS IN, GUYS)
+ Total sports fanatic, including American football, because who doesn't like those tight pants?
+ She yells all the time and is crazy competitive and a bit of a rascal
+ Pushing boys out of trees totally = flirting
+ Her mom is a nurse so despite being a little rambunctious she's way into healing/potions and works hard in those classes
+ Her dad is a retired Qudditch coach and has given her his colorful vocabulary when cheering
+ She wants to climb all the trees and maybe be in the woods all the time
+ She wants to be your friend but will also make fun of you
Time to go throw some snowballs ;)
