Angelica Jones/Firestar is one of my fave Marvel chars. Cameron and I played Rikki Barnes and Anya Corazon before Anya started getting featured more. Cloak & Dagger are two of my favorite chars but I've never gotten to play either of them (yay for upcoming TV series tho!!). I've played most of the Avengers Academy kids. I love a bunch of the kids from the 50 States Initiative during the Civil War plot but I can't remember off the top of my head which ones I played. And New Mutants!!! I love the New Mutants. basically if there's a teen superhero in it i love it

i need to know your feelings on the runaways

New Mutants and Generation X and New X-Men were THE BEST for me. Ugh. Too bad Marvel has treated pretty much all my kids like garbage. :|

PS: I think the most obscure character I ever played from Marvel was Shinobi Shaw. WTF was I thinking?

extremely specific obscure marvel rant: I am really pressed that Young Allies and all their relationships got retconned out of existence when Anya and Angelica got soft rebooted for their new comics. I was playing Angelica as an art history major when they retconned her to put her back in x-men and then they went from Gravity and Firestar casually calling Anya & Rikki "the girls" like they were married and they were their adopted daughters to NONE OF THEM KNOWING EACH OTHER AND RIKKI NOT EXISTING. cool great thanks y'all

Yessssss! We mostly stuck to X-men for the longest time (there was a TINY bit of branching out, we did some Avengers crap for a tiny bit once??), but.. yeah... that was actually a while ago. Teen superheros, man. New Mutantssss. And like Katie said, friggin Gen X :,(

Our primary OCs started out as mutants... we really like mutants

I LOVE AVENGERS ACADEMY

i've played..... Striker/Brandon Sharpe, Elixir/Joshua Foley, Alex Wilder (sigh), Victor Mancha... oh and Rictor/Julio Richter lol

but seriously i'm still pretty Broken Up about Avengers Academy. oh my god. i miss Finesse and my angry baby Jenny Takeda

this is random so i'm just dropping it here but all this has reminded me that the LAST time i got cameron into playing OCs we were in a next gen marvel game and we played twin children of Eric O'Grady/Ant-Man who were just AWFUL and obssesed with inventing a functional jetpack and i miss them a lot
