goose_ooc | OOC: IJ DOWNTIME PARTY

Hello, Gooseberry High!

According to the InsaneJournal Facebook, we're looking at a site downtime that will last at least for the rest of the day, and possibly longer. EDIT: UNTIL FUCKING FRIDAY so prepare yourselves for a week of memes ._.

Cheryl has kindly suggested that we can provide the IC reasoning of "Larke and O'Hare were trying to understand the journals and accidentally broke them" for why no one posted anything for ~2 days (I KNOW, I KNOW, I DON'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT EITHER), so for IC reasons, we can say that the journals temporarily turned into non-magical journals and you terrible children just had to pay attention in class and hike to talk to each other. :(

Until the site comes back up, you can all feel free to use this post for OOC discussion/plotting/complaining. For my sanity, please resist the urge to comment on the other posts in these comms, because Dreamwidth is supposed to just exist as backup for the game (lmao i obviously haven't done backups for a week, sorry). You can post without signing in if you don't wish to register a DW account at this time, but there's no invite codes, so HEY WHY NOT.

Activity Check will be delayed for at least 24 hours after the site comes back. Of our active players, the only people who haven't completed AC yet are Cheryl, Josie, Roz and... Marin... so FYI Cheryl, Josie and Roz, you will not get kicked out of the game. We're still debating Marin's fate.

We're working on the March plot calendar but honestly there's a chance that after work today Meggie and I are just going to get drunk and whine a lot so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We will do our best to give you all some kind of advance notice about when it'll be posted!

this is marcy, her birthday was on tuesday! she's a rescue kitty and has a very sad backstory including coming into the shelter full-grown and so emaciated she weighed under 5 pounds, but i made her fat and happy.

Ziggy Stardust aka just Ziggy because Stardust doesn't fit on the name tag either looks like the sleazy dude at the gym or like he's about to drop a new album on y'all. He is the weirdest fucking dog.

Sergeant Pepper aka Sarge (yes we named our dogs after concept albums wanna fight about it) is made of pure sunshine and light and he is the dumbest fucking dog. We got him in August and he was kinda scrawny and scared of the stairs but now he looks dapper as fuck in sweaters and invades my personal space regularly.

He also basically lays on his brother.

They're both rescue dogs so they have some emotional baggage but that's probably why they're my puppy brothers because I am a true Ebonhide
