Hello there, this is Emma and I needed a boy. Finally.

So this is Jeremiah Rasmussen, senior Ribbonfin slacker and cheerleader. His family is fairly well known in the yachting world and he basically just doesn't give a crap about much because he'd rather just sit on the beach and sail around the world. He's from a tiny island off the coast of Nantucket and went to Ilvermorny and was in Horned Serpent, so if you went there I'm sure you would have seen his punchable face there. Basically nothing bothers him, no one can really get to him but you are welcome to try.

Ras is in the least amount of classes he could take (Charms, Hermeticism, Transfiguration, Astronomy) and is working on being an Animagus (fennic fox)! He sails, he has a plane, he just figures his life is sorted with money and working with the family business of a whole bunch of yachting stuff so he's just here to relax and be happy.

Got anything you need, Ras is here to help. He happily gives away his things to people so if you like something he owns, it's basically yours. Also he has a seagull pet that sort of just disappears for weeks at a time.

Okay I love you emma. And idk, Chris is just a mess right now so i don't even know. Basically, jeremiah has all of the makings of somebody Chris would hate? But I feel like he probably doesn't hate Jeremiah? I mean when they were freshmen, he probably wanted to punch the kid in the face (and very well could have if you're cool with that) but I feel like Ras is just so chill and free with his shit that they could be friends now? i dunno.

Outside of Chris, there's Olivia, who is a junior and a prefect and probably really digs his chill exterior even tho she is the exact opposite of chill.

And Solomon loves everybody so he loves Ras.

Oh he could have punched Ras, Ras doesn't care. He would have just been like...want to get some ice cream now? He's just too forgiving. I say friends now because I can't see anyone hating Ras.

Chill will get you all sorts of awesome stuff, he's just so relaxed. I don't even know how to change that.

Sun-mi is easy to win over and he's a senior Ribbonfin, SO. She'll like him.

Ursula can't stand him. He's an heir and doesn't treat it like the GREATEST RESPONSIBILITY EVER, so. She probably dreams of diversifying holdings one day to acquire his yachting company.

Oh no, those sails aren't going to make themselves. Well they will he will just stand there making sure they make themselves, he might be lazy but that company has been around for centuries at this point. He isn't allowed to get rid of it. It's a huge part of the contract will thing his father gave him. Which he claims is super lame but having money and doing NOTHING is great.

He says heeey Essie, want some sunglasses? And yes yay for senior Ribbonfins.

kurt's probably been thrown into that yachting thing once or twice by his family, esp. being from a wealthy new england family. he probably doesn't understand why ras isn't rattled by anything. he's so confused. whyyyyyy.

and i think quinn's irritated by him, although she won't let it show much. she's here on academic scholarship and wouldn't be able to stay if she didn't work her butt off, so sometimes she'll want to wring his little burberry-ed neck. but reeeaally all she does is walk away and try to ignore him.

You'd think Ras is high all the time with how he reacts to everything but no, he's just naturally like this for some god knows what reason. He would have made Kurt boat race him or make him fly around in his plane. Look he just wants to be best friends with everyone.

Diego's probably friendly with him, but since Ras is lazy and Diego is flighty, I'm guessing their friendship's a little on the shallow side. Deep conversation maaaaay be a rarity, but Diego will think well of him. Diego's one of the rich kids, buuuut he's not likely to be part of the yachting crowd.

Rafael is with Quinn on this one: he's irritating. Raf values hard work, drive and passion, and Ras seems to... be lacking all of that. He probably leaves Ras alone most of the time and remains polite, since he's not a problem student. Rafael just can't stand that lazy attitude.

Reid knows that he exists! I doubt they'll interact much, besides through Animagus Studies from time to time. After his own brushes with losing his scholarship, he's a little suspicious of people who don't have to work to stay at Gooseberry. But he's Reid, so he's not going to do anything about it.

Calvin is softer around Ribbonfins, so Ras won't see as much of his prickliness. He's got a big crush on Ravi, so shows up in that dorm sometimes asking for help with homework that he doesn't actually need help with. However, he's also really annoyed by people who don't try but seem effortlessly successful anyway (cough Cole cough) so he'll hold that against Ras a bit.

I don't think Ras has it in him to have a deep conversation, I'm pretty sure he gets distracted and starts thinking about food or the ocean or oh look a bird is over there but he can really try and he will just smile and talk random nonsense at Diego.

Ras is the least problem student and I'm sure just takes every rule and states he wasn't doing that anyway.

He will accept the slight acknowledgement from Reid and Calvin and really just try to be friends with them anyway even if it's just offering sunglasses or help with something that isn't class related.

Wes probably spends most of his time bless your heart-ing him, because r u 4 real rich boy?? He also gets a lot of "aw, cher" from him. He humors him though because he anticipates rich boy problems being hilarious and he lives for schadenfreude.

Sylla is in animagus studies with him but she's younger and he's a gauche flaunty American. But elitism is all relative, look at the Borgin/Burke family after all.

And Holden is Holden and minds his own business.

I'm sure Ras will try to be nice to her if only because he finds her interesting because who wouldn't? Plus that whole Borgin/Burke thing is like super cool to him.

Pippa is kind of turning into a cheer groupie (cheer is so cool! they don't have it in England!) so she'll admire Ras for that! Plus she probably ogled him during the Boy Safari.

Etta will happily punch Ras in the face if she thinks he needs it. Otherwise, she'll take his free sunglasses and rock them. They're also in Boating together! Etta is super competitive so maybe they've had sailing races?

Coralee is only interested in yachts if they're anchored somewhere calm and she gets to sunbathe on the deck. She declares that manbuns are an affront to her senses, but I think she secretly likes them... just not on Ras.

Oh yes all the races, he loves races even if he doesn't win them all. He's competitive but in the way that he will take losing so gracefully it's like he didn't lose at all.

Oh god I hate manbuns, I hate everything about this sort of thing but I swear Ras is around just to make me want to punch him.
