LMAO HOW IS IT THE 20TH ALREADY. Okay, head's up: Marin is still on slow posting because she is a disaster of an adult (and also technically just started a new job, so).

Regarding the rest of October, we will not be adding new events to make up for the ones which were struck out. A couple reasons: a) we figure the Pumpkin Carving Party, Costume Creation Party, Quidditch match and Halloween Dance will keep you all busy enough, and b) we need to slow down on creepy events to maintain the pace of the game. (But of course Halloween will not be devoid of creepy happenings!) We promised compensation, so if you lost an October calendar event and you did not already have at least two other events, you will get to see November's calendar a day early and sign up one of your characters in advance!

You five can expect to see next month's calendar on October 29! :)

For clarification, blank comments are considered "invisible" reactions and cannot be seen by other characters, i.e. icons do not exist in-universe, only text. Struck-out comments can still be seen and attributed to your character, though.

Yes, strict curfew and the buddy system are still active! Quinn Cunningham has taken the initiative to post BUDDY SYSTEM SIGNUP SHEETS, which will go in the library and on the bulletin boards of all house campsites. Aaand she's posted about it right here!!!

Okay, I need to spend this evening writing this weekend's Quidditch match and learning a new JS framework, so everyone tell me who your characters are asking to the Halloween Dance so I can figure out who my characters should ask. Feel free to use this as a plotting post if your characters don't have a date yet. I'm just nosy and want to know.

Also, Meggie would like to announce that she loves you and thinks you're all so cute, but I'm not adding it as a bullet point because I refuse to validate this gross unprofessionalism.

OH GOSH IDK. Dates, definitely, costumes, idk!

Essie and Diego decided last year they were going to drag Mina into a group Wizard of Oz costume and Essie drew up plans for Magirobot Toto like a year ago so she is sticking with this even if Mina and Diego are the worst. BUT PIPPA CAN GET IN ON THAT IF SHE WANTS. Dorothy, Wicked Witch, and Scarecrow are taken right now.

ALSO I KNOW MARIN SHOULD SEE THIS (I THINK SHE GETS THESE COMMENTS??) so what is going on with Sy and Coralee do you know??? Is he asking her??? Is she asking him??? I wasn't sure if Coralee would be like "Ursula, you need to ask Reid so we can have matching dates" or if Coralee does not care what Ursula does.

I DON'T KNOW Josie had proposed that Coralee ask Sy, and I was just waiting for Coralee to post something before throwing Sy at her to bug her and figure out their present dynamic. :|a Sy would totally ask her too, if that works better for Josie, but we'll have to wait until a few days after the game since Sy's head is all QUIDDITCH QUIDDITCH QUIDDITCH right now.

OH BOY THAT IS PRETTY IMPORTANT. He'll have the anxiety either way, although you're right that it will just be MORE if he knows. Which could be fun! Also fun, him finding out on the day of and then ALL OF IT HITS AT ONCE. And IF THAT'S WHAT PIPPA WANTS TO DO, THAT'S WHAT PIPPA SHOULD TRY TO DO. He'll know by the end of the dance for SURE that it's a real date, too, so he might try to push himself to tryyyy because it's like "NO WE ARE TEENAGERS AND TEENAGERS GO ON DATES AND THIS IS WHAT TEENAGERS DO ON DATES AND I CAN DO IT TOO, I THINK I CAN I THINK I CAN"
