MEME: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

MEME: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
HOW THIS WORKS
Age:
Occupation: What's their job?
Residence: Where do they live?
Personal life: Are they married? Dating? Enjoying the single life? Do they already have kids?
After Gooseberry closed: Where did they go to school? What was it like?
After graduation: What did they find themselves doing? Did they jump right into their career?
Now as an adult: What are they up to? How did they get here?
Are they happy?: The answer had better be yes.

Anything else?:
A cute gif: Optional. You can find a gif of them all grown up, or just as they are!
- In preparation for the 10 Year Reunion next weekend, this meme is for you guys to plot out exactly what happened over the past decade.
- Post your responses to the first header, but plot under the second so people can edit their responses!
- Be considerate and mildly realistic while plotting! Obviously, we all want our babies to be successful, but the MACUSA president isn't going to be a 25 year old, and your junior Auror did not kill a dozen Dark Wizards singlehandedly to rescue Snoop Crupp.
- What happened after Gooseberry closed?:
- Gooseberry Alternative High School was officially shut down, and remained abandoned for two years.
- It was then reopened as the Merrill Memorial Research Institute, which is a facility dedicated to studying the surrounding area and funding unique projects for the betterment of the magical world. It attracts many brilliant minds, and Mrs. Bloom is constantly flooded by applicants seeking funding and research space.
- Yes, you may say one of your nerds is employed there now.
- There's housing available inside the lodge where classrooms have been converted to labs and office spaces, but nature has reclaimed the campsites. However, plenty of employees Apparate into work instead, because not everyone wants to live in the middle of the woods.
- Despite all these years of studying the unusual forest, no one is certain what makes it so strange. There are rare sightings of a white moose, but no one can confirm its existence, much less whether or not it's the same moose as before.
- The school is definitely still littered with ghosts, though, and there's a dedicated ghost research wing.
- Ms. Lilywhite and Ms. Vector reside there as research staff. They are rumored to be a couple, but are both very private women, so don't try asking them about it.
- Mr. Elmasry and Dr. Perry are engaged and currently reside in Washington, D.C.

Gwen
Age: 28
Occupation: Metal charmer. She specializes in Dark Arts detectors like a Probity Probe (which looks like a metal wand). She did finish her specialized clock for tracking the movements of herd/flocks, and patented it. She licensed out the instructions to a company in North Carolina that makes them to order for wizarding farms. As promised, she gifted Ulysses Quayle with the first item she created as a master metal charmer: a Lost Things compact. It's a silver disk the same size as a small handheld mirror. When told what lost item the owner is looking for, it shows a picture of where the item is. Gwen works freelance from her home, which is just north of NYC, and takes commissions for unusual pieces. She does primarily utilitarian items, and doesn't do much jewelry unless it's for a protective charm.
Residence: As much as Norway grew on her, Gwen wanted to get back to places more familiar. When she first came back after achieving the rank of master, she crashed at Wilde's NYC apartment for a few weeks while she did some house hunting. She ended up finding an old and incredibly ramshackle 1880s house in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with a carriage house she immediately turned into her own workshop. She'd always liked woodworking and she uses that now to remodel parts of her house. In two years, she's practically gutted and rebuilt the old Victorian to be thoroughly updated inside.
Personal life: Gwen and Webster dated through the first several years of her apprenticeship, before the long hours and distance (and time zones!) made it all but impossible for them to see each other. That, coupled with Webster's burgeoning music career, meant they rarely had time to connect, and their romance started to look a lot more like a good friendship. They decided it would be best if they separated, so they could each pursue their chosen fields without being held back. Gwen had been dividing her free time between Norway and Webster's place, and after that, she didn't date for the next two years, concentrating solely on her metalwork. Near the end of her apprenticeship, she dated another apprentice, and then a friend she'd made in Norway, but by the time her training was over, she was single again and packed up to return to the States. The two years after her training concluded, she has been single and happily working on remodeling her home and her workshop. She and Webster correspond via owl or Internet (whichever is easiest at the time) but she hasn't seen him, or many of her classmates, in a few years.
After Gooseberry closed: Gwen graduated along with the last class of Gooseberry. She has never been back, even though she has contributed to the researchers there, via owl. She constantly finds specimens to send back to Wilde for his work, and she lets Ennis know that the ghosts in her place are perfectly content.
After graduation: Gwen had successfully negotiated an internship with a well-known metal charmer, Professor Sven Kallestad, in Tromso, Norway. She finished her apprenticeship in eight (cold) years. She will work as a master for another few decades and perhaps take on an apprentice of her own. Master metalcharmers are in demand for many items used by MACUSA and the Ministry, so she never lacks for work.
Now as an adult: Since Gwen's patented clock generates most of her income, she gets to only take commissions for really interesting pieces, and spends most of her time inventing. She likes traveling to visit her friends, especially Calvin and Micah and their daughter. She goes into the city regularly when Wilde is in town, and connects with any Gooseberry alums who live in NYC. She tends to haunt old shops and antique places for items to work with and add to her house, and pretty much knows the whole of Greenwich Village's antique shops and everyone in it. She goes camping at least twice a year with Wilde, and they try and go to as many remote and uncharted places as they can. This tradition started when he came to Norway and they explored deep into the forests there.
Are they happy?: You betcha.
Plot Here: Bring it
Anything else?: I finally got to this!
