You are a guest at the Prom Gala, where the three biggest casinos in Las Vegas have come together to rub shoulders and share stories. However, some untrustworthy parties have something else in mind: while everyone is distracted, a team of thieves will get the codes that will unlock the three keys to open a casino’s vault, and rob them blind.

Who are those “untrustworthy parties”? Everybody.

Today is the last day! In the interest of speeding things along and trying to make this more fun for everyone who's participating, I'll be putting up a few new features around 12:30 PM (i.e. about an hour from now):

CASINO

• You can now buy access to any key for 10c, which will give you the CODE A and the ability to burn it. You can also sell your access to earn 10c.

THIEVES

• You will now be able to see which casino you're working for. Sorry to everyone who didn't get contacted by an ally!


• You can now steal a code from another player for 10c! Code stealing will work like this:
  
  
  • You can steal from both Casino and Thieves. You can steal from your own team, but not from your own characters.
  
  
  • The target you steal from will receive your 10c.
  
  
  • If the Casino target has a decoy code, you will steal their decoy code. Once a decoy code has been stolen, it's burned and the Casino player can pay 2c to get a new one.
  
  
  • If the target doesn't have any decoy codes, you will steal the last code they have access to. So if a Casino player has access to Glass Code A, then buys access to Wood Code A; you will steal Wood Code A. If the Wood Key has been unlocked, you'll steal the Glass Code A instead.
  
  
  • If the target doesn't have any codes at all, you'll get an alert and still lose your 10c.
  
  
  • Every theft attempt, whether successful or not, will alert your target to your identity.

It's up! You might have to do a hard refresh on your browser (Ctrl-F5) to get it to work. Please let me know if you run into any issues!

Also I didn't program anything to actually happen if you get all keys to a vault, or when two vaults have been robbed so... I'll just go by timestamps to see which two vaults get robbed first, if any.

The Fence's ability has been upgraded! If a code is valid, you'll now know what key it unlocks.

Small update: Security can't sell access to their original key! Since I realized that a casino could make a key totally inaccessible this way. :o But if Security buys additional keys, they can sell those back.
