Name: Fern
What do they look for in a person?: Fern needs someone who isn’t sensitive. She teases, and she refuses to pull punches for anyone, so anyone who gets their feelings hurt need not apply. She looks for someone she can joke with. She wants someone who isn’t going to force her to get into Feelings when she doesn’t want to, though she honestly probably needs someone who’s going to subtly nudge her in that direction. Bonus points for someone who likes to spend time outdoors, because she does too.
What do they find romantic?: Honestly, way more sappy and normal than she’d like to admit. She likes to talk tough, but honestly, she likes romcoms unironically. She wants to have a nice movie and dinner date. She likes hiking and watching the sunset. She wants to go on a carnival date (but she can win her own bear, thanks). It’s super gross and she’d rather die alone than say it out loud.
Who do they have a crush on?: Heathcliff. She did have a crush on Robin&Chris. She’s probably had crushes on all the junior coppertale at some point or another.
Are they seeing someone right now?: Yes, and it’s going shockingly well. She hasn’t broken it yet, anyway.
What are they like in a relationship?: Mostly like regular Fern, dialed up to 11. She’s way more likely to punch and/or mock, though she can also be sweet (in private). She’s totally comfortable with PDA on the public makeouts end of the scale, and embarrassed of the holding hands end of the scale. She’ll open up… slowly. So very slowly, with a lot of dedication and patience.
