Things that are going on in the next handful of days!

• On Thursday, 12/21 we'll put up a music meme!


• On Saturday, 12/23 there will be a party for students who stayed at school. There will be a strip poker RNG game, but there will not be mod-organized kissing games.


• Tomorrow, 12/20 I'll be posting the matchups for the random masquerade photos, so go sign up if you haven't already and want your character featured! They will be made visible on the journal network so even students not on campus can see them.


• Activity Check will be going up on Sunday, 12/24, and as our present to you, you only need one piece of activity for each of your characters. (Unless you're asking to apply for another character, in which case you must provide 2-3 pieces as is normal.)


• Parent-Teacher Conferences and the Talent Show are next month. New rules will be posted for PTC in the near future to discuss how to handle graduated siblings who might visit campus. Be aware that these rules will be strict.

I was gonna post this to the general chatter, but.. now that winter break is actually here, I figured some people would want to revisit/discuss their plans?

I.. actually gotta run for my niece's holiday concert, but... yes. I'll be back to talk planning later~

Ariadne will be in Europe with Jade. They're visiting Paris at some point but they'll be back in London for NYE.

Todd is staying at school and is available for kissing.

Reece, Clem, and Tally are all going home.

Reece will be at the MACUSA party and I think is also going to hang out at the Quayles' place for awhile?? He and Ulysses have stuff to do. He can apparate so he could be anywhere in theory if anyone wants to hang out.

Tally is in Three Willows. She's a homebody for the most part but anyone's welcome to visit her there.

Clem is going to be offered a job with an American Quidditch team sometime in the next few days, but probably won't be telling people for a little while. She'll be at Cameron's NYE party!

yeeeeee!! now that it's winter break, i feel comfortable plotting~

Ennis is going home, but he'll be at Cameron's NYC party. I was thinking it might be neat if he organized some sort of overnight LARPing event since his family owns A TON OF LAND but I don't think I'll be able to make an IC/OOC for it. I'd really like to do more things with LARP/his LARP character though. Sending IC candygrams was funnn.

Noel is going home and he'll be at the Diagon Alley NYC party. His birthday is coming up andddd he'll want a party for it because he LOVES ATTENTION, but... again, I don't think I have time or focus to make an IC/OOC. I might handwave it and the birdies can do something fun when they get back next semester?

Charlie is my least favorite child and idk what she's doing, but she'll be at the Carney Party as well.

Spencer is staying at school!

Calvin, Reid, Archie and Kenzie are going home!

Calvin's back in Bath, and will be in London for NYE. Ramon's visiting him for the latter part of the break. He's also yet to tell anyone (except Gwen maybe?) that he and Micah are A Thing yet.

Mackenzie will welcome visitors to Three Willows, and she'll be at Cameron's NYE party.

Reid is in Chicago, and he might end up making appearances at events where the Stokers are.

Archie will be MIA until the break's over.

Riley is in Alaska and going to be in a wedding with a terrible dress that makes her look like a ghost. But at some point this week the Smooch Squad will join her in crashing her brother's bachelor party and getting trashed. It might be hard for her to get anywhere in the lower 48 because usually her island is all isolated but I'll get her ass to Cameron's party.

Rosy is in California and being paraded around like a show pony at holiday parties. The MACUSA holiday party is on the 22nd in San Diego and there will be a beach. She is pretty unavailable for fun shenanigans with friends for the most part because I'm not a good person to her.

Jeffy is in New Jersey with his cute family being cute. New York area friends should do things.

Dinah is on a boat in BC, and will be emptying Vancouver Island of all its food with Nisha at some point. They might still be braided together.

And Austin is staying at school and is available for bad and embarrassing decisions.

ulysses is in portugal with the esbs, then home with his fambly over xmas, and then at cameron's nye party. also, he's terrible about offering his house up to people without telling his parents, so if anyone wants ........ to be in olympus for some reason???? you can say he invited them, lol. this is generally true, but he's partic bad over the holidays

cash is staying at school and is so pleased about it he might just let his guard down a touch over the break!!!!! he will immediately regret this because no happiness goes unpunished

zach, marie, and tobias are going home!!!! be free, gooseberry. be free. gramps is moving out because kas is being MEAN to casey, so marie will probably be preoccupied with That Situation.

All of my kids are going home. Lucas, Yancey and Nia are all legally able to apparate. Nisha..........is a very special girl and would never do anything that dangerous and illegal underage. Griffin is stuck in Amish Country.

As far as notes of interest: I have most of next week off (how the fuck did that happen) so if anyone's bored and wants an IC/OOC I can probably cook something up at Lucas' skeleton house. Otherwise Lucas is going to be spending a lot of time in NYC eating pastries with Bash.
Nisha's going to be having the world's best Pirate Sleepover with Dinah. So IDK if she will be at the MACUSA thing??
Nia will be doing what she always does - hiding from home by "visiting" friends and crashing at their places. (My children are all vagrants.) She will fo sho be at Carneyparty.
Yancey will be attending the MACUSA party. I like to think he is babysitting the Terrortwins, or maybe the other way around. He will probably also be at the Carney Party.
Griffin is in Amish Country does anyone want to visit a squonk farm

All of my monsters are going home for the holidays.

Roxie will be working. Because she has no concept of vacationing. But she has friends (how? great mysteries of life?) and is willing to actually take time to hang out with them.

Bash is taking Lucas on a pastry safari, gossiping with his sister, and toting around several young girls under the age of ten. Also, probably harassing his friends. So - living his dream life, basically.

And Iggy is sleeping in a hammock and drinking out of a coconut. She will not see a single flake of snow this entire vacation.

Ursula, Essie, & Pear are all home for the holidays.

Ursula is gonna be in LA, will be attending the MACUSA party and is generally up for hijinks. Ladies Night? Pizza? Shirtless men? Big fish hang outs? I imagine she'll end up at the Carney NYE party.

Essie is gonna be in the US spending time with family and visiting Fake Pippa (and other friends??) through Christmas and then heading to the UK to visit with Real Pippa through the New Year. She'll be at the Diagon Alley party.

Pear is stuck sharing a room with Beans for two weeks which is awful!! They will maybe be at the MACUSA party and possibly try to lead a coup at the Carney Party since it is gonna be their birthdays!!

Jade is gonna be in Europe with Ari, but don't worry, even after all the catacombs and sexy skeletons, it's not a date. She'll be in Diagon for New Year's.

Tuesday will be at school and monopolizing all practice Snitches to the best of her ability.

Ira, Addy, and Ferdie will all be going home.

Ira just hangs out in Maine. I know I have talked about a couple, but he'd be available for meeting up with people either at his house or elsewhere. He prooobably won't be at many parties because he's a loser when left to his own devices/always.

Ferdie's going to escape as often and for as long as possible, which THIS time means that he's going to be crashing the MACUSA party and hanging out at Ursula's house for a while. He remains the Worst Rebel. But if anyone's in the Chicago area for those times he's successfully quartered to his room, he'd be Very Obliged for an escape plan/reason.

Addy's going to be visiting/applying for colleges on the sly because she's not smart, don't worry about it. But she'll be at the Carney party and anyone is absolutely welcome at her house. AND I know there was some talk of a trash Paris girls redux so if that doesn't work in conjunction with the MACUSA stuff, and you're not all sick of parties, it might be cute to have a SLUMBER PARTY with AGING POTION MAKEOVERS?

All my homebodies are also certified apparaters so if you want them, call them ♥

Gwen is going home for the holiday, but she will be in London for most of that stretch. For NYE, she is wherever Calvin is. Also, she's happy to travel if anyone wants a visit from the Gwenmonster.

Yaayyyyy freedom from work!! So, nothing new or overly interesting from me.

Hazel, Jaime, and Rupert are all going home and friends are welcome to come visit them! Any of them may be coaxed away from their homes as well.

Ramon is going home, but will be spending new years with Calvin in England.

Phi is staying at school and is going to be so happy in her relative solitude.

wilde's in portugal, then back to chicago / avoiding his family as best he cannn. he's available for visits & such if anyone wants to put up w him, and will be at the carney party. he's also applying to some herbology programs for after graduation. ♥

madison is suffering in boston? and possibly visiting ira + anyone else. i don't really have any plans for her yet re: NYE, but i may toss her at the carney party if nothing comes up just for the hell of it (i kind of want her to have a majorly drunken episode and mess w her a bit)

pandora is EXPERIENCING DC with her brother & family. dragging heathcliff to museums. enjoying herself muchly. playing with pugs. idk, she's a baby child & probably spending most of this break reading and being an overachiever even on her downtime

phin's back in birmingham w his mum, but will be touring around visiting hogwarts friends and getting into trouble, etc. possibly visiting lachlan & anyone else who would fall on this radar? he'll be at NYE in london w calvin & co. he's also going to return to gooseberry having been offered an assistantship with the ministry of magic for after graduation, which is gonna fuck w his motivation/work ethic, yay~

I am so late to this party, BUT:

Casper is going to be in Portugal with his boys for the first part of the break, will spend Christmas with Asher in San Diego, and spend the rest of the trip in Los Angeles until it's time for Cameron's party. :o Which he is FINALLY GOING TO.

Cole has decided that he can't handle the friction between his brother and stepmom this year and is staying at school. He'll probably starve or fill the RJB cabin with spiderwebs or something. Who knows. He'll attend at-school stuff if he's invited.

Lachlan is going home to Edinburgh to help his parents out with the inn. He'll also be doing something (TBD) with Phin and maybe his old Hogwarts peeps and will be attending the NYE event in London. He will definitely not be going crazy over Yancey's indecision and cryptic card tricks.

Heathcliff is going home to be with his family! He is slightly in trouble because of sledding and abysmal midterm scores but still gets to go on a family road trip to D.C. to go to ALL THE MUSEUMS. He should enjoy it like the rest of his family but instead he wants to die. SOS!!! He'll be pretty much out of commission apart from journals.

none of mine have any plans but avery & sam are both staying at GB. sam will be leaving campus for the MACUSA party she can't get out of and thats it.

issy is going to stay with tristan over break, concordia is going home, and oz is going home with karen. all three are available to go do things though.

All of mine are going home for break, because

Cameron is going to Portugal with the boys, then he's going to Alaska with the Smooch Squad, then he's going home for Christmas. He'll have a few days of breathing room, then it's time for the CARNEY NYE PARTY.

Chloe is going home to Atlanta over the break. She'll attend a slumber party if there is one. She'll also be at the MACUSA Gala as Kurt's +1. People can visit her, or she'll be happy to visit people, but she's probably just going to take the opportunity to wallow in glorious wifi.

Fern is going home in a pretty chipper mood (relatively speaking). She'd be open to inviting people over, or visiting people.

London isn't at all thrilled to be bedroom sharing with Paris again. One of them may die. Or they might kill Yancey out of spite. However, she is SO EXCITED to be able to go to the MACUSA gala this year!!!!
