A few quick notes!

• Tomorrow is your last day to sign up for the Ageing Potion event! Please list even a ballpark number of years your character will ageing by, since we intend to list them on the IC/OOC for people to reference easily! You have until tomorrow at 11:59 PM!


• Is your character staying at school over the holidays? If so, please let us know below. You can change your answer as much as you like up until Dec 17, 11:59 PM. After that, you may not change your mind. This is just to keep things from getting chaotic.


• Students staying at school over break may leave campus to visit people if they're 18 or over, or if a legal guardian, relative or affirmed representative will pick them up.Winter break will end around the third of January!


• If you'd like to do some ageing potion/dance/winter break plotting, you may use this post!

Trying to figure out this Ageing Potion event is killing me. Any of mine you guys would like to see aged in one way or another? Otherwise, I might RNG it or something. :o

For break, so far...

Casper is spending a chunk of the holiday with his roomies on vacay in Portugal and the rest in California! He won't be around for much apart from that and Cameron's NYE party, probably.

Lachlan is going home to Edinburgh to see his family and help out in the inn his parents own. It gets busy during the holidays! Friends are welcome to visit him there if they want to but it's sort of a magic-free zone because that stuff freaks out his parents and also Muggles. Muggles everywhere. He'll be attending the NYE thing in London!

Heathcliff is going home to Savannah to see his family and get dragged on a family vacation. They're going to D.C. and will be visiting ALL THE MUSEUMS. His family will have the best time and he will want to die. (Unless this has changed, Kay?)

Cole ...is up in the air. He may stay at school or go home depending on what the other plans are. He's flexible. :o

For the dance, so far...

I have no real plans except that you can all expect Casper to roll his eyes and make a big THING about how he's not going to the dance...before he actually ends up going in secret anyway. :| Because he's not as callous or above teenager things as he thinks he is.

But yeah! That's what I've got in mind now. Poke me if you want to plot or do anything with mine, though~

I can't respond for real yet but -

don't apologize for rambling. detail always helps me think of better plot / gives me more of an idea of whether or not an interaction with one of mine would work or not. so rly ty for being detailed so i can give you a good plot like response later when i'm not stuck at work <3

My current break plans are:

Riley is going home and one of her older brothers is getting married. She's going to crash the bachelor party and will at least invite the Smooch Squad, but if you want anyone else in on this HIT ME UP. This will just be an excuse to journal drunk shenanigans because I probably won't do an IC/OOC for this.

Rosy hates Christmas and will hate it from LA, but I want to do at least one thing for rich brats in LA over break?? but idk what rich kids do in la aside from complain.

Jeffy stayed at school over Christmas last year, so he could go either way. Maybe he can go see Star Wars with Lucas & Bash in the city. Maybe they have to.

Dinah CAN'T WAIT TO GO HOME! She wants Nisha to come visit her. And anyone else. Her parents' B&B doesn't operate in the winter so they can probably just have the run of the boat and that sounds dangerous.

And I think Austin is staying put because his grandma bought tickets for his dad and stepmom and little sisters to go to Disneyworld lol, and she was like "aw honey i thought you were gonna spend christmas with your mama" and NO HE DOESN'T WANT TO SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH MOM'S NEW HUSBAND >:( Austin is a brat. He can stay at school.

As for the dance... idk i haven't thought about anything, why can't someone else do that part for me

AS FAR AS I KNOW:

None of mine (...?) are going to stay at school for break! Here is more of a breakdown of events!

Addy: Will be going home, she lives in VA, she has never missed a Carney New Years. See her for all your holiday party/wine robbery needs.

Ferdie: Will be going home because he was preettty severely told that if he tries to stay at school again, he'd be pulled out. He doesn't want to be pulled out! BUT he can still sneak out via apparition to other people's homes; his parents can't be around ALL the time.

Jade: Is going to England with Ari!

Ira: He's going home and loves his home and probably invites a lot of his friends over to meet his home so if you want to meet Nicer Ira or either of his moms or do things that aren't that, he's open.

Tuesday: Actually, I just lightning changed my mind and I think she might want to stay at school to have the quidditch pitch mostly to herself. It's going to be like a solo training montage for the whole break.

AS FAR AS THE DANCE, all of mine will def be going, Ira will be the one in the mask held together with staples, I'm not responsible for what any of them do, please plot with me if you wanna ♥

here's my plans as they stand currentlyyy:

wilde's going home! kind of. he'll be in portugal w his dudes (and possibly saira?? plus any tag-alongs, seriously this is open to whoever would reasonably be invited by an ESB because i say so) && then back to chicago until cameron's NYE party. shenanigans! as usual, he's... not super into spending time with his parents, so he'll take any excuse he can get to travel or hang elsewhere.

madison is going home to boston, where she will be incredibly miserable. i'm looking for NYE ideas for her and/or other opportunities to Escape the Ives Abode. ♥

phin is headed back to birmingham to be with his mum and hang out w hogwarts friends. he'll be at the london NYE thing for certain!

pandora's going home to savannah w her brother, where they will have SO MUCH HOLIDAY FUN including a VERY INFORMATIVE and EXCITING educational family trip to washington dc! :u :u :u i am so sorry heathcliff

I have to clean but instead I'm doing this and having a beer and watching Parks and Rec ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hazel is going back to Texas to bask in the almost not quite freezing temperatures and demand lots of attention from her parents and uncle! If anyone wants her for anything she's willing to travel/people can come to her if they want!

Jaime is going back to Mexico and is just going to hang out with his little brother and try to draw up good training/game plans so Azurquid can MAKE A COMEBACK!! :( He'll probably be pretty resistant to going anywhere because he wants to hang out with his bro, but might be persuaded.

Ramon is going home also... like Jaime only someone trying very hard could convince him to not just be home the whole time. He'll probably try to convince Sofia to meet him somewhere at some point if she doesn't come home :(

Rupert is going home and will probably just spend most of his time trying to get attention from his parents and hanging out with his dog :( And will practice monologues so much.

Phi is staying! She is going to hide in her cabin a lot except when she goes to look after the garden, probably!!

Dance stuff........... all of mine are going except probably Phi but she might be convinced?? I already have Hazel's outfit and mask picked out oops.

Gwen is heading home for the holidays! The Popplestones always have a big family Christmas and she can't skip out on it. However, she will be going to England the week after to visit her cousins, so she should be at the NYE party there, possibly with her Hogwarts cousin in tow.

She is most certainly going to the dance! She's gonna be debating with the other Ribbonfin girls if she should bite the bullet this year and ask someone to be her date since she has not actually had a date to any previous events.

WINTER BREAK:

• Calvin: Going home to see Dimi. He'll be warding the Hogwarts exchange kids once they're all home, asking about meeting up at Diagon Alley on New Year's Eve.
  
• Archie: Going home. No one will be able to contact him until he returns to school. He won't be attending any parties and doesn't accept mail.
  
• Reid: Going home to see his parents. Zav is invited over for Christmas.
  
• Kenzie: Also going home.
  
• Spencer: Going home to squeeze in a couple weeks of proper training with Ruby. Friends are welcome to come crash at his apartment if they want.

All of my kids will be at the dance except for Reid! He's going to sit this one out and sulk instead. Kenzie will want to go with Ulysses. Spencer will be floating around anonymously if anyone wants an encounter with him.

And as for Archie... are there any seniors out there who want a goofy plot where at the end of the night their mysterious charming companion ends up being that weird little sophomore? :))))

kurt is staying at school over the break for the first time ever and he's nervous about his Big Adult Decision ... To Stay At School. he'll be coming and going, though. also it's going to be his first anniversary with chloe OH GOD

I only have Essie signed up for the Aging event so far. IDK if I should sign up anyone else.

As for winter break...

Ursula is heading home to LA and needs to make good on her dreams of hanging out on a beach while getting pizza delivered by shirtless men since they missed out on Ibiza. All Big Fish are invited to hang out for some sightseeing with her. And Addy and Nia and Vee and anyone else she would know would enjoy this. This is.. not an IC/OOC thing, I don't thiiiiink. She'll also be at the Carney NYE party and presumably hanging out with just Ferdie at some point.

Essie is going to be splitting her break between Utah and visiting Pippa in the UK. They'll both be making an appearance at Calvin's NYE party!!! And who knows about Jeffy!!! Probably TBD based on how the dance goes!!!!!!!

Pear is... I HAVE NO IDEA!!!

And I think all three of mine are attending the dance!!!

Ageing Potion:

Ennis is going to assume one of the ghosts is responsible and isn't bothered at all by this CHEEKY LITTLE PRANK. He thinks he looks REALLY good when he's older (he looks like your average scruffy dude but whatever) and it's going to calm some of his insecurities about his changing body.

Charlotte also assumes it's the ghosts and is PISSED until she realizes she's a MILF. She's gonna go around hitting on other DILFs and MILFs and do some freeform LARP as a suburban mom.

Noel is going on a date with Mads Mikkelsen probably just gonna goof around with the other birds. He's not bothered.


Break & Dance Plans:
It's still really early in the month and I don't want to plot too much and feel locked in to my decisions in case something else comes up IC.

BUT all three of mine are going to the dance and I'd like for them to be dateless for ~MAXIMUM ANONYMOUS FUN~

Anddd all three are probably going home for break. I'll plot this closer to the event but Noel is VERY EXCITED to see his dog and his dads again.

Sofia, I don't know what I'm doing with her. She'll get to some NYE thing one way or another.

Oh and both are ageing up. Bianca's a 30 yo version of her pb. Sofia's in her mid thirties idk about a pb cause I suck.

Sofia's also free for the dance if anyone actually wants her for a date.

Griffin is going home...??? Because even though he hates squonks he misses his cousins a lot. :(( He is available for any shenanigans that can be Floo'd to. Or if anyone wants to come to the squonk farm..............by all means.
Lucas is going home to the skeleton house! He will probably be mostly up in Bash's business. If we want to do a movie marathon sleepover at the skeleton house, I'd be up for doing that. C:
Nisha is "going home" for the holidays, which means she's a vagrant for a couple of weeks. SHE WILL VISIT DINAH!! Her parents probably won't even notice she's gone!! She will go to the MACUSA holiday party if there is one!! She will harass Zav and Asher. She's taking Zav textbook shopping before the new year.
Yancey is....doing whatever the Terrortwins are doing probably!???!

Dance-wise, all of my kids will be there in some capacity. I have plans for almost none of them, at the moment.

Also I still don't know how old Lucas is going to be for the aging thing and I'm not going to use a PB for him but also at the same time Timothy Omundson has some serious Lucas as an auror aesthetic and I just wanted to link that picture.

I have no idea what I'm doing for ageing potion, help me my brain is dying. But they'll all be at the dance in some way or form. And as for break plans:

Bash is going home because he needs to carry a bunch of little girls around and also figure out every single dessert place in the tri-state area to feed Lucas in. (This is how responsible humans spend their leftover summer job money.)

Roxie has work to do. Both work-work and school-work. One of these is terrible. It's not the one where she may fall to her untimely demise. But she gets to see her giant spider. So it's cool.

Antigone will be going home to get spoiled by one of her grandfathers and rigorously quizzed on what she learned by the other one. Also to lay around in a hammock on a beach.

if anyone was wondering, i'm still stuck in a cabin in the middle of rural farm hell and yesterday i had a 20 minute conversation with a man about my favourite kind of cow so that's where my life is at now

WINTER BREAK:
ulysses is going to spend time with his boyz in portugal and then he's going to so many holiday parties that even he will be truly and utterly sick of them. he'll still be at the carney's because he loves cameron's mom

cash really does not want to go home, sigh. he doesn't like xmas and he doesn't like spending this holidays with his uptight and ott family. usually, he just takes his lumps, but he may try and wriggle out of it this year bc he's selfish.

zach, marie, and tobias are gonna go home, but i don't have specific plans for them!!! marie might try to beg her way into visiting some of the sophomores over break, so sorry in advance for that.

DANCE SHENANIGANS:
????????? ulysses and marie will definitely want to go and then tobias and zach can be talked into it and THEN there's cash who's a pretty hard sell. idk who i'll anonymise.

For break:

Solo is gonna be staying Bc he stays every year. I think he views this as giving people a mental break from him. He’s not mopey tho. This break will probably definitely Bc better than last Christmas break

Eve is also gonna be staying Bc she doesn’t have any yank friends to stay with and she’s low key concerned that if she goes home, they might refuse to let her come back so she’s fucking here until the year ends. I’m assuming she’s not gonna make the hogwarts exchange kids nye meet up on account of her nifty plan of giving Calvin space by not showing up to shit he agrees to be at. Alternatively, her parents are starting to wonder why she never comes home for Christmas break.

Olivia is going home to New York Bc her family has a massive family gathering for Christmas. She’ll prolly go to Carney’s nye party

And Quentin is going home to the compound.

Idk about the dance. Solo is obviously going but idk about the rest
