TVTROPES: GOOSEBERRY HIGH

NOTES!

Your main directive is a single question: if Gooseberry was a TV show (or a series of easy reader novels), what would be listed on its TVTropes page?

You can either include the little explanatory blurbs for each trope, or just summarize your character with a few tropes and no commentary if that's all too much brain-energy. I would personally love to hear all your meta-thoughts on your own characters, but also, real life sucks and we're all tired.

This is probably going to be pretty formatting-lite, so I'm not offering a code to copy/paste. Sorry! Maybe use cute emoji as bullet points? That's my only suggestion.

Not familiar with TVTropes? Check out these hand-selected example pages: The Descendants, Riverdale, and Gravity Falls. Or check out these handy lists of tropes by theme: School Tropes, Gender and Sexuality Tropes, Characterization Tropes, and Love Tropes. OR just post your characters anyway and I'll dig up some tropes for them! I think about this way too much!

Because I have bad social anxiety and I know some of you do too, I'm gonna say this is all OPINION THAT IS ABOVE REPROACH! There are no wrong answers! Say whatever you feel about any character! Or treat your character's random crushes like they're ships that have a dedicated fanbase of 150 shippers. THIS IS FOR FUN!

» GENERAL: Tropes relating to the school, large groups of characters, events, metaplot, etc.

» CHARACTERS: Ours, but also NPCs like teachers, Anon and Brother, the ghosts, or even family members of our characters!

» SHIPS: I want to hear everything about all our favorite ships. Or non-ships that might be ships if the game had a fandom.

» CAST CALCULUS: Duo, Trio, Quartet, & bigger combos. Just post who's who! It's like a lightning round!

» CROWNING MOMENTS: Gooseberry Greatest Hits!

» OOC - Questions, comments, concerns!

this is going to make it abundantly clear how little effort i put into my characters

i love your very stock characters

they have depth or whatever!!! i protest weakly as i link to 14 interconnected tvtropes and call it a day

also i'm doing these in the orders i app'd my characters and YES, i KNOW that i just created each character by giving them the EXACT OPPOSITE traits as my first one, you don't have to call me out

doing ari's took way more energy than i had so i'll probs go back to the list

i like the low amount of braining effort that lists require
