i binged all of alias grace and now i don't know what to watch. what are you guys into right now? i'm interested in anything with a good mystery but also just anything that's got a good story

ok well most of my podcasts are about video games or dogs so not those.

mystery... i'm sure i've watched a bunch but all that's coming to mind is british murder mysteries? i liked foyle's war a lot for the first few seasons. i love inspector lewis.

i'm watching the second season of life in pieces right now and it's NOT a mystery but i love it. it's a sitcom where each episode is 4 5-minute short stories of different parts of their family? that + the fact that the rec started with my mother-in-law made me go "ummm" but then my brother-in-law (whose recs i will ALWAYS listen to) said he was hooked, so i tried. and i watched s1 in like 2 days. it's very funny.

+ you've seen glow, yyyyy?

uh, the 6.8 star rating is totally fair. the male twin is.... completely fuckin awful.... but the female twin has a big romance with another female character and if you're into supernatural boarding school bullshit in general you might enjoy this

and i was sort of shocked when it turned out it wasn't the case

The second season of Lady Dynamite was just released so I've been binging that, it's reallllllly weird but has that absurdist inside jokey Arrested Development vibe that I really love

I've weirdly been into Boardwalk Empire lately because I want period drama crime stuff

And I'll always recommend Victoria because it's pretty af and Queen Victoria sassing everyone and it's like everything I wish The Crown was
