Griffin is from a tiny magic-y village in Lancaster County, PA. That's Amish country. That is pretty much the extent of his exposure to muggle shit.

His family has been farming squonks for GENERATIONS. They have a lot of trouble keeping the farm family owned and operated because Squonk Farming sucks. So they rely pretty heavily on GUILT to keep the chain of inheritance alive.

Griffin's dad is a SECRET AGENT for the MACUSA. Basically like the wizard equivalent of a green beret/navy SEAL? And he's stationed in Korea and everyone thinks he's just a dead beat dad, so Griffin doesn't talk about him much because most people assume he's lying.

Griffin is a mathboy because I keep doing this to myself?? He likes physics and geometry especially and is into the concept of Sacred Geometry.

He's in DIVINATION but it's because he likes that they occasionally go over stars. He's respectful when he's in class but he doesn't necessarily believe in it. He doesn't have a "specialization" yet but I kind of want to do something absurd wit the Spin the Bottle bottle.

His DREAM is to become an astronaut. Griffin's dad bought him a telescope when he was younger, and he's obsessed with space. He's not so much a WOO ALIENS kid, although that's certainly there, too. He's more into the SCIENCE of it.

He's a sweet boy, but he's emotionally immature and SUPER naive and sheltered and copes by being a Typical Azurcrest and just making exponentially worse decisions as time goes on. Jesse McBride was PROBABLY his idol.

I basically wanted to make a character that embodies Yikes and here I am.

He's AMAZINGLY lazy and will put more work into "being lazy" than he would if he actually did something right the first time. He doesn't seem to realize he's doing this.

Hi, I love him, can't wait until I have one of my characters ask you to do physics for them again.

Archie is in his year, and is another soft-spoken boy who's desperately ill equipped to deal with normal high school life. Archie's secretive buuuut he's pretty social and maybe they could be friends and never face their problems and be confused by technology together.

Kenzie is one of his senior prefects, and she's not really great at momming anyone, but if she knows one of her wee ones likes to go hard at parties she'll keep an eye on him.

Spencer is a trashy party boy and will be garbage with Griffin at the Grotto.

Reid and Calvin are on rival teams, but I don't think they'll cross paths much outside of that SADLY but they're both jerks and Griffin doesn't need them in his life!!!!

I love this. Archie and Griffin should totally be hopelessly sheltered friends who don't understand very simple muggle concepts. Griffin wishes you luck in your romantic endeavors, Archie. You'll find Mr/s. Right, eventually.
