The liquor stores here are very shitty and government run. I've never met a single employee there that gave a shit. One time I asked for recs on whiskey and the employee shrugged, and a little old man grabbed a bottle of $5 paint thinner and told me "It's all good, sweetheart."

my favorite thing to do back when i sold boozeahol was to help customers cross reference price and proof so they were getting the highest ABV for the lowest price

LOL i think actually we discussed this awhile ago and... the muggles do know there's a weird year-round teen camp in this area? people who work in utahn liquor stores just really do not give a fuck if these kids hike out to stock up

My ID is busted and won't work when they try to scan it, and I look young enough for my age that it's not unreasonable to be suspicious it's fake. But every single time the employee just... gives up and types in my birthday. I can see them thinking "she looks at least 25 and I'm not getting paid enough".
