Swamp summer is ruining my life

Okay so heads up

I'm going to give myself this upcoming Monday and Tuesday to get my shit together for year 2 because menu changes and stresses at work and 105F temps when I have to walk a mile and a half to work everyday are ruining my productivity and life
That includes y2 app (no1curr) but more importantly 💫⚡️💥Dueling & Fencing Club stuff 💥⚡️💫 (⚔️)
So until I set up the club Dropbox and stuff and don't feel like I'm going to be passing out or needing to work in a furnace during New Orleans summer if you have any preliminary questions just hit me up and I promise I'll have more official stuff soon to come

even though i closed discord after d&d last night it gave me notifs this morning, so i skimmed through some of the chat i'd missed.

and i'm here to answer the most important question anybody had last night.
the gooseberry houses as dog breeds
ebonhide is a... border collie!


- one of the most intelligent dog breeds, border collies are known for their quick mind and innate ability to strategize and problem solve. they can learn pretty much anything that they put their minds to. this is not always a good thing.
- they need ample physical and mental stimulation (a lot of it) or else they can become extremely destructive.
- once they've claimed their pack, and their herd, they've claimed it for life and become more sweet than their stalking around the fields would lead you to expect.

ribbonfin is a... bernese mountain dog!


- even-tempered and calm, these gentle giants are affectionate family dogs who are patient with children!
- despite their chill natures, berners are not adverse to exercise and exploring the wide outdoors!
- and don't let their calm deceive you, either, because they're smart and determined when they know what they want.

(fun fact: ravi was a bernese mountain dog!)

azurcrest is a... boston terrier!


- bostons are friendly and curious dogs who are good-natured, even if the pursuit of fun can get them in a little trouble.
- they're known to be clowns who have a sense of humour and love to chase and play! their voices vary but there are an awful lot who don't know when to shut up.
- check out that tuxedo coat -- a boston is always ready for a party!

coppertale is an... english bulldog!


- they are so stubborn... so, so stubborn. it takes a lot of work to get through to them and demonstrate that you're worth listening to, and even if you DO manage that, they won't always abide by what you have to say. if they want to do a thing and you tell them no, well... sucks to be you.
- they were originally bred as fighting dogs in the euuugh sport of bull baiting. they're not so fighty now but let's ignore that because they also make good watch-dogs because no matter how big they may or may not be, they can certainly handle themselves in a fight.
- puppies are frisky and need proper training to grow into more dignified adults.
- they look pretty gloomy and mopey on the outside even when they're sunshine and rainbows on the inside. it's just how their face is.

(it was really tempting to make coppertale a teeny little doggo but i resisted. i also challenged myself to stay away from dogs with aggressive reputations.)

Sooooooo we've had a plot suggestion for a date auction that we're going to be mulling over. This is an early heads up that you may want to be a little reluctant to accept early invitations to the Halloween dance taking place at the end of October. There MIGHT be an auction in early/mid October, and your character could bag a hot, hot date! Or maybe they're auctioning themselves off for the good of Event Committee! It's up to you! ♥

If we don't do it for Halloween, it'll take place before the fancy pants Cotillion which is definitely a thing we're doing. THANKS, DESCENDANTS!
