At other universities, you finish your last day of class, then you get a WEEK off, then finals start?

actually yeah i guess undergrads do get at least a week off classes, usually, BUT it's not treated at all like a break. people don't go on vacation or anything, they prep for their exams. but we've never given it a name and tbh i've never reeeeaaally noticed or thought about it until now.

except for how it always seemed to coincide with my birthday so there were like 3 years where i didn't have a party bc everybody was losing their minds over exams. :(

we got one day. Like, classes would end on a tuesday, reading day on wednesday, exams begin thursday.
