literally one of the reasons why i made ennis struggle behind in writing was because i know i always fuck up and use the american spelling, even in a hogwarts game. so i was like "WELL, IF HE WENT TO ILVERMORNY AND LEARNED THE AMERICAN SPELLINGS... IT'S A ~CHARACTER TRAIT~"

i think that was the one where i was extremely wasted and as such we are all doomed to repeat any conversations i began that night. i apologize. it's such a pressing question that i still need to know, again.

i was looking up small towns in ontario where her family could own a lot of acreage for a nice, fancy-ass house without muggles bothering them

i saw this and was like "cool, she lives on a lake in lancaster and has no neighbors"

yeah the rest of lancaster honestly looked like a tiny, boring place that people passed through instead of visiting so i was like "mm perfect, let me plop this snobby purist family here"

YUP the only reason slightly more people go to lancaster now is because cornwall used to have the cheapest and most convenient gas before you pass into QC (where gas is $$$), but now that fifth wheel is gone, lancaster has a shiny new gas station that people use for that purpose instead.
