Just like the Meddler's Almanac, but more up to date and with some boring stuff in there, too!

Hometown: Where your character is from. If this is a wizarding town or neighborhood which you made up for this game, feel free to include some information that other students would probably know about their hometown.

School History: What year did they start at Gooseberry? Where did they go to school before? What was their Ilvermorny/Hogwarts/etc house?
Class Involvement: How do they behave in their classes? Are they talkative? Disruptive? How often do they skip? Do they have a favorite partner for groupwork?
Campus Presence: Where on campus do they spend their downtime? Do they haunt the library? Are they big on school spirit? Have they tried every club at least once?
Party Time: Do they regularly attend Grotto parties? Do they drink? Smoke? Provide the contraband, or freeload? Steal the aux and play their weird music?

Best Friends: Your bestest buds in the whole world.
Cliques: Other groups they tend to hang out with.
Out-of-School Social Circles: Does your character have any old family friends? Parents who know each other? Do they keep in touch with their old school friends? (For example, the children of MACUSA reps hang out together at MACUSA events.)

Sexuality: How would the student body at large perceive their sexuality? It doesn't have to match their actual sexuality. But if it doesn't, are they out to a few people? Nobody?

Current Relationship Status: Are they single? Dating? On the prowl?
The Messy Bits: Would it be obvious to an observant meddler that your character has a crush on their bestie? Or has your character engaged in public flirting and/or fighting on the journals?

Common Knowledge: Stuff absolutely anyone on the campus would probably know about your character. (For example, Clem's father is a retired quodpot player and she has a very young baby brother who was born last year.)

Name: Sybilla ("Sylla") Iolanthe Borgin
House & Year: Ebonhide Senior
Hometown: Lancashire, Northern England. The nearest actual town is the muggle village of Lathom, but the Borgin home sits on a plush five acres outside the boundaries and under strong concealment charms.
School History:

Exchange student from Hogwarts, started at Gooseberry in her sophomore year.
Former Slytherin, which was a thorn in her side until recently, when she realized it actually fit rather perfectly, despite the cliche.
Convinced her parents to let her stay for her Senior year.

Class Involvement:

Quiet, focused, often in the back of the class closest to the door. She likes to observe and pick up when her classmates seem to struggle or find difficulty.
Never talkative or disruptive, very solitary in her studies. She absolutely hates group work and vastly prefers to work on her own and be responsible for her work and nobody else's.
If she absolutely has to work with someone she prefers it to be one of her roommates. If not, she tries to power through it but there's a bit of a dead-eyed stone-faced vibe she gives off.

Campus Presence:

Prefers to spend her free time in her cabin - she's a nester and loves her safe space with her cat Madoc. After her unexpected animagus transformation in the library in front of other students she has avoided it as a study space for the most part.
Goes to all Ebonhide games to support Clem and Vee, and shows the most spirit for her house when the games grow particularly violent and brutal. (Also goes to Coppertale games for this reason.)
Avid member of Dueling and Fencing and soon to be the club president. Also seems to conspicuously make appearances to mud wrestling and hockey - or other events where she may see people hurt themselves.

Party Time:

She has only attended maybe two grotto parties in the last year, and coincidentally stopped attending and participating in her one and only kissing game in which she spun Damon Evercreech for Seven Minutes in Heaven. After that she seemingly stopped going. She got what she wanted.
Will only attend parties if brought or thrown by/in celebration of her roommates, and mostly stays to herself and watches other students get drunk and do foolish things. "Minds her own business" - translate to "bask in the schadenfreude and wait for drama to ensue."
Will return in her senior year smoking cigarettes - her father's brand.

Best Friends:

Ebonhide Senior Girls. The only ones she has yet to really open up to. She's fiercely protective and loyal to them and would walk through hell and back for them. None of them can do any wrong in her eyes.

Cliques:

None. She doesn't believe in surface friends because she's extra af. Escaping a particularly strong clique of Slytherin girls at her old school makes her wary and judgmental of the idea as a whole. However, she has a habit of talking more to the Hogwarts exchange students than she does the Americans.

Out-of-School Social Circles:

Does her own family and numerous sisters count? It does to her. At Hogwarts she only ever really sticks close to her parents, her brother, and her sisters.
She does write to Damon Evercreech quite often and spends time with him during holidays.

The Not Friends:

She wishes nothing but misfortune for the Ebonhide Senior Boys. (Iliya Krum gets a free pass, however, in some strange show of Hogwarts student loyalty.) They're the worst.
She finds most of the boys at school incredibly exasperating to the point of misandry. There are some exceptions (Sylvester Stoker, the Evercreech boys) but she tends to look down on teenage boys in general as weak and annoying. The male ego is the real enemy.
On principle she rather dislikes the Mean Girls clique, but in a distant, "you would be burned to a crisp at Hogwarts" sort of way. She doesn't take them seriously.
Truth be told she doesn't really know or recognize lots of people because chances are they haven't blipped her radar and/or have never started a conversation with her. When she says "I have no idea who that is" (99% of the underclassmen) she actually means it.

Sexuality: Demisexual, but that it's really nobody's business but her own.
Dating History:

Significant past relationships?
Nope.

Current Relationship Status: She's "in correspondence" with Damon Evercreech. They have not had a formal conversation about what they're doing.
The Messy Bits:

Nope. Some may have noticed her journal flirting and hair-flipping and eyelash batting last year around the older Eldercreech, but she keeps her cards close to her hand.

Common Knowledge:

Her parents are the Borgin and Burke of the Knockturn Alley shop.
Her sister Daphne is a Falmouth Falcons Beater.
Her animagus form is that of a white cobra.

Personal Stuff:

She's incredibly perfectionistic and feels she has to get everything right the first time. She beats herself up over perceived personal failures and withdraws into herself and her homesickness.
She mimics her mother and father far too often than she would like to admit. For all her talk of being her own person and valuing her independence and strength, her parents are her world and her main frame of reference for successful adults.
Schadenfreude is her true joy and she has a cruel, rather dark sense of humour.
She holds grudges like you wouldn't believe. It can be the smallest slight and she considers someone an enemy and will act like she is gunning for their downfall. She's incredibly judgmental and holds people to too high a standard. The exception of this is to her closest friends who she thinks can do no wrong and who she will defend and protect at all costs.
She has a Victorian sentiment of romanticism - writing letters, pining, chivalry, a sly flirtation - and finds Grecian mythology incredibly romantic.

The Secrets:

The events of the woods kidnappings in which she was separated from her group, physically fought a ghost, and stabbing herself in the stomach.
She's both fascinated and scared of her family's sordid past and her relation to Death Eaters. Facing the prospect of potentially killing herself has awakened an interest in this darkness and sacrifice, which is proving to be very conflicting and strange for her. In a way she feels she has laughed in the face of death itself, but at the same time she realizes what a stupid stunt it was, and doesn't know what she was thinking. For now, she tends to focus more on the fact that she was brave enough to call the ghosts' bluff.

TBD - aka nobody knows her enough to make rumours about her? Or at least hasn't yet?
