goose_ooc | BREAKING NEWS: Cast list preview to go up this Saturday!

So... your mods have been talking, and at this point the cast list is done, and hiding it from you is just torturing you pointlessly. As such, we'll be releasing the preview of the cast list Saturday, August 5, 10 AM MT. Please note:

This will just be a preview. You cannot make a hold or submit an app for a new character until Aug 15.

We'll put up a post for you to discuss the roster with one another. Try to be courteous! We can't enforce it, but if you see a fellow player really wanting one particular name and you snipe it from them, we'll be very disappointed in you. :(

We are willing to consider some special requests (i.e. name changes, muggleborns/purebloods, transfer students, etc.), but please prepared for the answer to be no. We spent a long time balancing the roster to be exactly how we want it, and we hope you can respect that.

For everyone's reference, here's the procedure on pre-opening holds! ONE HOLD will be allowed per player until Sep 1, unless the player received special permission (see below). All pre-opening holds will last until Sep 1, with NO EXTENSIONS unless you're holding after Aug 25.

If this will be your fifth character, you may submit a hold before sending a fifth character petition to the mods.

The following players are allowed to make an early hold, starting Sunday, August 13 at 10 AM MT, provided they are holding a first-string Quidditch player. (These are players who won't have a Quidditch player, and don't already have a hold on the page.) If they are not interested in any Quidditch players, they can hold as normally on August 15.

The following players may app up to two characters between Aug 15 and Sep 1. (This is based on players who lost two non-sale seniors, and good activity with those seniors.) They are still limited to one hold at a time, with permission to hold again once they've submitted their first app.

I would maybe be monopolizing Ebonhide Quid and that seems rude too but a bb freshsoph ahhhh.

OKAY WELL turns out I can't remember my own rules, I thought you were limited to playing only one pureblood, haha, WHICH YOU ARE NOT. But if you'd rather not play two pureblood girls, I can definitely move some things around? I miiight do that anyway.

But yes, Aiden's been replaced with a new name, but same cabin and Quidditch position. :o

in the last game we were in the character she's based on had a great frenemy dynamic with the character robin was based on that involved gossiping over coffee every morning and I'm heartbroken we can't recreate that
