MAKING A BRAND NEW ANNOUNCEMENT POST because I need to make sure everyone reads this!!!

• Everything that was written in your journals during the event is GONE. You flip through the pages and it's like all of those posts and comments never happened.


• For the aftermath: You may post journal entries from now until 8 AM MT tomorrow, dated to immediately after your character wakes up. Please note that the in-game date is Saturday, June 25. I know that's not a lot of time, sorry!


• The journal network will then be taken offline by the MACUSA while they investigate the incident. That's the official IC explanation for the journal blackout.


• The journal network will come back online on Friday, July 7 at 8 AM MT. That's 2014 in-game, and 2017 OOC, so we sync back up. You may use this post to plot out what your character was up to during the blackout period.

HEY GUESS WHO'S HERE BEING A PEDANTIC PAIN IN THE ASS

World Cup Semi-Finals took place over the first weekend in July 2014, the 4th thru the 6th. The final matches took place on the 9th and the 11th, which were a Wednesday and Friday in 2014 but are a Sunday and Tuesday in 2017. When I'm writing the IC/OOC is it alright to keep the days of the month and handwave the days of the week? Or would the reverse be preferable? I think keeping the dates rather than the weekdays will be better for spacing out IC/OOCs since the reunion is happening on Friday

Feel free to futz around with the dates as much as you need to make it work. We aren't too invested in making sure it correlates perfectly with canon, especially since this is going to be a crowded month.

OKAY in that case I'll just have it so the final matches are happening over this weekend so these kids are as fresh off the trauma as possible and the reunion has a lil room to breathe
