I googled this because now I wanted to know, and Blue Apron says they're only designed to last for 1 full delivery day.
So your neighbors should start getting home faster.

a prom fashion retrospective

i'm choosing prom dresses for my characters rn (because i'm drunk and of course i am) and i've learned that not only is almost nothing you'd see at prom today something that would've been worn at prom in 2014... 2014 was an absolute wasteland for prom fashion

your typical prom dress in 2014 was probably going to...

1. be the absolute worst color. "Neon", "pastel", and "high-contrast" dresses were all in fashion this year.

2. have the absolute worst hemline. Your choices were pretty much high-low, overlay, or high slit

3. have a peplum if the hemline was normal. This is a trend I can get behind, cause it hides my weird waistline, but it's even more awkward on prom dresses than it is on blouses.

4. have some amount of lace on it. Either just fully lace or just a tasteful high-contrast lace accent.

5. ... or else have some amount amount of netting. Illusion dresses! might have been one of the more tolerable trends of the year if they weren't all bedazzled to hell and back.

6. oh, right. Be Bedazzled to hell and back. BLING! BLING! THIS ONE HAS A WHOLE SHATTERED MIRROR ON IT!

6. be backless. Cause we wanna show some skin, but this is still high school.

7. all of the above. WHY, 2014? WHY?!?!

oh my god that first mullet dress is just atrocious. and I can't stop laughing at the photoshopping on the arm on the "high-contrast" dress omg.

Wizards can definitely do it better. Everyone should just wear zuhair murad.

quinn's dad is going to send her something because he used to be a tailor and shit and LOOK YOU GET A THIRD DRESS but like her weirdo dad's fashion sense for his weirdo daughter doesn't have to take any of these tragedies into consideration

they all made me lose hope
