Things you might wanna know about Jeremy: ♪ Reformed bad boy - his worst was during his freshie/soph years, stopped being a general shit sometime in Junior year ♪ Hails from Boston - came from the local wizarding school there then transferred out dramatically and went to Magicrest to complete his education before coming to GB ♪ Above two points due to the fact that his mom has just passed away when he was 12 (details of which can be seen in his bio). ♪ Now he has a new obsession over his future career since he's aspiring to be a healer and putting in all the right steps to achieving that ♪ Can often be seen in the library working on his senior project (which is an actual research paper, the hopeless workaholic) with earphones plugged in and tuning out the world ♪ Thinks Quidditch is the quickest road to a violent, meaningless death

Wishlist (lines I am hoping to fill): ♪ Close friends - these people stuck with him even when he was being the shittiest human being possible, they'd probably know the circumstances of his mom's death and supported him through his years at GB. If someone is so inclined and picks up a Dominic Sherwood as his BFF, I may be your eternal slave. :D ♪ Cousin - I left his mom's maiden name open, so if anyone wants to claim a dead aunt for their character for the ~drama, pls do so ♪ Drinking buddies - they don't necessarily have to know any more about him apart from his taste in beer and girls. He doesn't drink to get trashed. So he's usually still capable of decent conversations during these ventures. Y'know, just boys being boys. ♪ The past come to bite him in the ass - so he was a shithead in Years 1&2 in GB, he's probably pissed off a lot of people during that time. I want people to deliberately be antagonistic towards him because of that. He's not going to respond in kind because he's trying on that whole reformed bad boy thing. But I love pushing limits. ;) We can also discuss the specifics of exactly what atrocities he has done. ♪ Homewrecker - somewhat related to above point, as part of his whole 'shitty human being' stunt, he may or may not have encouraged certain individuals to cheat on their significant others. He may have known your character was dating someone but relentlessly flirted with her regardless. He may have had flings with your character and then broken their heart when he told them he didn't think they had a future together. ALL SORTS of shitty things. ♪ Healing shizz - so he is pretty set on being a Healer now, and I don't think it's a huge secret. He tells everyone his senior project is about the Healing properties of Tantric Sex with a straight face (it's really really not), because maybe he hasn't moved on entirely from being a shithead. He has self-taught himself a couple of elementary healing spells and can brew most of the basic healing potions and salves too. So if you are particularly inclined to getting injured for some reason *cough*quidditch*cough*, he can easily be blackmailed into fixing you up. He will grumble though. God will he grumble.

Game looks beyond amazing, so I'm psyched to get started! :) If you have an idea not listed (which I'm sure will be more brilliant than anything I've come up with so far), please lemme know as well. Very open to plot.

They're both in the same house (she's a sophomore) and are aspiring healers, but I think he'd make her suupperrr uncomfortable talking about tantric sex and she'd probably annoy him with her overly happy personality. Having them interact anyway will still be super fun, though.

Lol. I think Jeremy can't quite handle sophomores in general. They're all too chirpy and innocent for him. He will probably lay off the tantric sex spiel since he generally only pulls that on people he thinks deserves it for being ridiculous and also because omg innocent!sophomore how dare he. He does need to interact with other aspiring Healers though, so I will make that happen! ;)

Hi Lena, welcome to the game! I'm Kas and I have 4 characters. I don't know how that happened.

Quinn Cunningham (this journal): Same year, Azurcrest, prefect and Quidditch reserve and SOOOO RELEVANT TO JEREMY. She's a library-living workaholic and ~aspiring Healer~ who will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. When he was a shithead at the beginning, she was an overbearing prefect making more enemies than friends. End of soph year and into the last she chilled out considerably and is no longer such a bitch (but she does still deduct points for Obvious Things like uniform infractions). She's very social (as long as she's not working), has a sense of humour that can be a little biting at times, and is passionate about work, partying, and athletics(/violent sports). She's friendly but sometimes bossy, aaaaand a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to bending rules. She's a bit of an asshole at heart but she tries very hard not to let it show, and will do nearly anything for her closest friends.

Basically, if they were able to settle their differences last year I can see them being pretty close friends now? They can get drunk and snark together.

Kazim Raza (kazim): Same year, Ebonhide, Quidditch Keeper. I don't think they'll know each other well as they're both very private people, have few classes and no extracurriculars together. He's a guarded musician who spends a lot of time trying to do things contrary to his parents' wishes, rarely succeeding. He doesn't involve himself in conflict.

Kurt Wolfhart (puphart): Junior, same house! In the past he's been a very shy and timid boy but this year he's trying to BREAK FREE!!! and become a Whole New Kurt. He's at Gooseberry because of his acting skills and is absolutely crazy about animals. He spends a lot of time in the stables. He's a pacifist and marshmallow. He wants everybody to have the greatest day.

I have no idea how they would get along?

Casey Patterson (sunsoutgunsout): Junior, Coppertale, cheerleader. Former bully, not terribly bright, likes to push buttons and feel in control. He's caught between his bad and good influences and is slowly on the road to being not such a bad person. He dances constantly. He hits on anything that moves. He's hit on Jeremy multiple times before even though he has no idea who he is.

Quinn - I think just by virtue of the fact that they spend a lot of time in the library, they would definitely know of each other. I'd like to explore their past relationship though. I think they definitely would NOT have gotten along well at the beginning. If Quinn even deducted his points once, Jeremy would have gone on to be an absolute shithead to her. It only matter how exactly we want that to have panned out. I'm all for them working it out by now and being amicable, but I think the exact details probs should be discussed a bit.

Kazim - unfortunately have nothing for him at the mo, but if I do I will def let you know.

Kurt - I think Jeremy low key keeps watch on the younger ones in his house just because he knows majority of his house is like 70% doormat (I'm sorry Ribbonfins, Jer loves you, really he does). So even if he won't be stepping up all efforts to make himself the BFF of the poor guy, he'd be at least friendly. And god help whoever picks on people like Kurt in front of him.

Casey - I can definitely see Jeremy pushing Casey's buttons deliberately back in his bad boy days. He may have gotten into a physical fight or two with Casey just because? Lol. If Casey would still hit on him after that, by all means. It may be hilarious.

WELCOME TO GOOSEBERRY HIGH! I'm Aleena and I have two characters.

Cressida Quayle (this journal): She goes exclusively by Cricket. She's the Senior Ebonhide prefect. Her dad's a prominent politician and her mom is a Martha Stewartesque celebrity. The Quayles are old American purebloods from Olympus, Tennessee. Cricket is outwardly very warm, friendly, and incessantly helpful, but has recently been a little more withdrawn due to ~spooky stuff~ She's very studious, loves to read and write, and can usually be found in the library with the other Ebonhide Seniors or hiding away in the stables. My first impression is that she wouldn't have gotten along with Jeremy their first two years, but has slowly warmed to him through their mutual love of dedicated research and shared distaste for Quidditch. She's also a sucker for bad boy/homewrecker types, even though she's a bit of a goody-two-shoes. I can see their relationship being flirtatiously antagonistic. It's up to you whether you think they'd be genuine friends by now or just friendly acquaintances.

This is my other character, Jesse McBride. He's the Senior Azurcrest prefect. He's an astrophysics/hermeticism genius, but comes across as a ridiculous, dumb, party boy. Nothing really ruffles him, so he'll joke around with anybody, even people who openly hate him. He's a pretty typical gross teenage boy. He loves beer pong, eating, and talking about sports. He can be found in the Artificing shed, usually with Quinn, or off in the woods smoking pot. He'll probably leave Jeremy alone for the most part, but who knows?!

hello hello, welcome to gbhs! this game is a wild ass ride, lemme tell ya. anyway, i'm cameron, and i play three characters:

#1: mercedes estrada (misericordias), an azurecrest senior. she usually gets along with everyone, but i can see mercy getting on jeremy's last nerve, lmao. she's super chatty and outgoing, one of those always sunny people, and she has a knack for spinning everything into a positive. she also has absolutely no brain-to-mouth filter, which is a little unfortunate, because she is both incessantly, inappropriately curious ("jeremy, is that a scar on your arm??? what happened???") and a little morbid (she was born with a heart defect, and her parents' fussing provided an early and persistent exposure to Thoughts About Death, lol).

#2: cassius holcolm (longcons) is probably a non-presence to jeremy, unless he was the target of bullying or something. although, he does tend to hang around the seniors for some reason, lol. cash is a coppertale sophomore, a overachiever with an extremely deadpan sense of humor and a ... passively ruthless attitude (motto: sucks to suck), he and his best friend todd are constantly neck deep in weird get rich quick schemes in an attempt to Escape The Suburbs where they were raised.

#3: @ this journal is ulysses quayle, ebonhide junior. he's... a little turd, lol, and i cannot for the life of me decide how he'd get along with jeremy. ulysses is a neurotic, spoiled brat with a lot of Feelings™, which he covers up by fabreezing with compensatory masculinity and being something of a good ol' boy in the preppy, old money way. he has a tendency to get into fights and he's very into quidditch — in fact, he's a chaser for ebonhide. UNLIKE HIS BIG SISTER CRICKET, ulysses probably liked him better pre-reformation, lmfaoo. he can appreciate a snarker, though, and will forgive almost anything (that doesn't involve his sister or his cabinmates, aka His People) over a beer

Mercedes - LOL. PLEASE ASK ALL OF THOSE QUESTIONS IN-GAME. I look forward to them ♥ Jeremy can be morbid right back at her though, so that's hardly a problem. We need an avenue to kickstart some of this painful (for Jeremy anyway) interaction mwahaha. What classes does Mercedes take?

Cash - Jeremy can appreciate deadpan humour. I don't think Jeremy actively bullied anyone, but he could definitely have gotten into a once-off fight with a freshie out of seemingly no reason at all. He needs people who remember what a jerkface he is. We just have to manufacture something so Jeremy can be rude and horrible. Jeremy can insult... Cash's attire? idek lol. gimme something Cash could get very offended by.

Ulysses - It will be very interesting to see his relationship with the quayle siblings evolve, to say the least. Jeremy still snarks, he just hides it a bit better now. (or does he?) I think I'd like for them to be friendly and then increasingly NOT (lol) especially if Ulysses finds out how close he and Cricket seem to be now. cue ~drama.

Hiiiii I am Lyss and welcome to here!! I have four.

This one is Leonardo Fiori but you can call him Leo; he's a Ebonhide Senior and Quidditch Captain/beater for the Ebonhide and school team. But he wants to be an Auror. He is in dueling, way too many classes, and still does Occlumency private tutoring. This is because he wants to be the best at everything. He's highly competitive, works WAY too hard, and would appreciate that about Jeremy too. I imagine they mostly get along fine. Leo would respectfully not pry, and is another one who doesn't give out a lot of personal details. That's not because of any deep secrets. He just likes to prove himself by himself. So really however Jeremy feels about that!

And I also have Addy Foster-Hayes over at ~addytives. She's an Azurcrest Junior, just became a prefect in February, and is adjusting. It's kind of okay. She is very outgoing and warm at everyone, but tries not to be overwhelming. She stalks a lot of her friends' relationships. She notably broke up with a long distance boyfriend from Ilvermorny last month after she caught him cheating AT HER SCHOOL so now she's making out with half the school in revenge, so. If he'd like to help that cause, there it is. She would not appreciate Jeremy's attitude towards cheating, but would be kind anyway.

Annnd also I have Ferdie Ayers at ~ferdie. He's a Ribbonfin Junior Prefect! I accidentally gave almost everyone authority! Oops! Anyway, Ferdie is generally a smartass, but easygoing. He solves emotions through logic. His mother, Irene, was a well known journalist until she stole secrets from MACUSA and alllmost went to jail, so Ferdie has grown up super protected and then chose to rebel by going to school with a lot of MACUSA kids. He miight have missed having to scold Jeremy in the past, but would be cool with him now either way.

And then lastly I have Jade Otterwell, tiny Azurcrest mean girl sophomore over at ~odder. She's weird! She's an actress! She hates traveling! She probably is too young to have much to do with him!

Leo - Jeremy is at the stage in life where he appreciates hardworking people. Also, interestingly, Jeremy's dad is an Auror of some previous repute and Jeremy is shit at Occlumency. Some of that tutoring could be an option.

Addy - Jeremy doesn't have a particular attitude towards cheating. It's more of a phase he was going through in that he was trying to stir as much shit as possible and what better way than to flirt with attached people? He's not doing that anymore however and would definitely not mind helping Addy out with her revenge. ;)

Ferdie - I love the idea of a younger Prefect constantly being on Jeremy's tail, tbh. Jeremy may have started shit with him because of that too. And maybe now he still low key snarks at Ferdie. Can juniors give their seniors detention? Is this a thing? Because that would be hilarious.

Jade - unfotunately I agree, but there is always random interaction!

Hi, I'm Meggie, one of the mods! Welcome to the game, I hope you have a lot of fun with us! :D I have.... way too many characters, let's get this over with.

Diego Morales (this journal), Azurcrest senior. Diego is a talented musician, and kiiiind of a troubled ditz. He's very social and friendly, but also intensely neurotic and responds poorly to people who are a little on the harsher side. Jeremy might have hurt his feelings a lot in the past. Diego's also known for being a hot mess. He drinks to much, he (used to) sleep around a lot, he cheated on an ex girlfriend, he plans a lot of Big Events that are Very Against the Rules. His anxiety sometimes reaches a boiling point where he becomes very self-destructive. THANKFULLY, he's in a good stretch where he's behaving and happy. His airheaded perkiness might get on Jeremy's nerves, but he's a lot more morose and sensitive than happy-go-lucky.

Rafael Ramirez (firstposition), Coppertale senior. Rafael is a prim and poised (and strict) prefect with a reputation for being a stickler for rules. When Jeremy was in the midst of his shithead phase, Rafael was almost certainly in his business alllll the time. He's got a short fuse, but but more in a cold anger kind of way. SO. While Rafael is not going to go out of his way to start things with Jeremy, he might still not care much for him in an icy "Ugh, this guy." way.

Mackenzie Prince (princeprincess), Azurcrest junior. She's the Azurcrest cheer captain, and kind of a mix between a class clown and a mean girl. Kenzie likes to fashion herself as a femme fatale, and she doesn't take much very seriously. The one thing she is serious about is her studies, and she's aspiring to take over her father's extremely lucrative wand repair business. She'll prooobably flirt with Jeremy, or at least did in the past.

Reid Wainwright (cygninae), Coppertale junior. Reid's an ice prince who rarely speaks and is always scowling, and he's probably best known for climbing anything that he can and being an exceptional Seeker. The reality is that Reid is sooooooooooo awkwaaaaaaard. His communication skills are terrible and he struggles to express himself. He and Jeremy probably won't interact much unless you can think of something I missed!

Calvin Evercreech (evercreep), Ribbonfin sophomore. Calvin was ALSO a shit in freshman year! He's a transfer student from Hogwarts, and is a reformed Slytherin bully. Once he arrived at Gooseberry he thought he could make short work of these Americans... and it didn't go so well. Now he's a lot better, but he's still prickly and abrasive and gets snippy with people unnecessarily. He previously had a really obvious crush on one of Jeremy's roommates, and would show up a lot pretending he was failing one thing or another when he's actually a straight-A student. That has thankfully stopped.

Diego - sorry Diego, but I agree. Jeremy would probably have been an absolute ass to Diego in the past. It's up to you whether Diego's still harbouring hurt from that. But it may warrant Diego going around telling other people that Jeremy's a dickhead not to be trusted?

Rafael - Ugh, this guy sounds about right. Jeremy probably watches himself around Rafael now extra careful, part of his reformed boy routine. Also he may or may not always greet Rafael with an extra bright (and fake) smile every time he sees Rafael just because that's his passive aggressive and only way of pissing Rafael off now lol.

Reid - I can't think of anything except that Jeremy may have made fun of Reid while he was being an asshole. But we alrdy sorta have that dynamic with Diego, so Jeremy can totes leave poor Reid alone. Oooor the alternative is fixing Reid up after/if he gets injured climbing and/or Quidditch. But that could also be a random event that can happen in the future. Just throwing things out here.

Calvin - Would Jeremy know/have guessed who this crush was? Or just know that Calvin was finding excuses to hang around their cabin?

Ironically, Vee here was just dating the last Jeremiah and I made the breakup IC when they left because ~drama~. I wasn't gonna suggest an ex line but when I saw your plot listings under home wrecker, I'm no longer sure about that! What do you think? (Even if not, Vee is super flirty and friendly despite how prickly you are, so)

My char Ryan (My apologies, I didn't transfer his bio yet but his DW name is ~dooomcookie) is also from Boston. Has also had tragedy in life. So they should know each other if not be friends? Ryan is loyal so could be one of those that stuck by him.

Vee - YES PLZ. Jeremy needs that ex line for his redemption arc. What were the circumstances of the breakup? if you ever wrote it out in the journals or anything? if not we could probably tweak it and come up with something now.

Ryan - Damn but Ryan's history is way more tragic than Jeremy. :( I like the idea of them being friends. It's up to you how much of Ryan's past you want Jeremy to know, but I think Ryan can be one of those who knows the details about Jeremy's mom. (It was in the papers so it wasn't a huge secret). If Ryan every attended the local wizarding school in Boston (do they even have one?) they could also know each other from back before Jeremy's big tragedy happened as well. They may not have been friends yet then. But Ryan could be one of the few who knows what Jeremy was like pre-tragedy and be able to compare.

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME. I'm Jenny and I have three characters at the moment and looking at how much shit I just wrote for Zav allow me to apologize I really need someone to take my keyboard away from me.

Xavier Lewis (this journal) is a clumsy math genius air head with poor impulse control and a love of experimental garbage food. His mother is a MACUSA rep who has given up trying to steer him and just kind of shoves him off to camping school so he's not a public embarrassment. MOST IMPORTANTLY, he is Jer's roommate. Xavier loves the senior ribbonfins and his roommates, especially; he considers them family. At the same time I think his feelings re:Jeremiah would be pretty complicated, because Xavier's very, very big into kindness and would have been an intensely easy target for Jer in previous years. On top of that, it looks like Xavier sort of fits the bill of someone Jer would not like (he's extremely cheerful and a complete dingus). So... IDK IDK IDK I think it will play out very interestingly and I am excited to see what happens. Xavier carries around a lot of self-doubt when dealing with anything not appearance related and is a bit of a pushover, so even if there was bullying between them and he still had reservations about that, he'd eat it to keep the peace in the cabin.

Dimi Evercreech (evercretin) Coppertale Senior, former Gryffindor. Dimi transferred into Gooseberry from Hogwarts halfway through the year because his social life was crumbling. Dimi is an aspiring travel photographer. He's artsy, charming, aggressively flirtatious and just regular aggressive, too. He's fiercely protective of his little brother, Calvin. So far as I've played him, he's shown to have a pretty sunny disposition, so I don't know how Jer would feel about that. They have some overlap in classes, and Dimi will be cordial enough. Also Dimi will hit u up at the grotto party if u wanna make out w a cute british boy.

Antonia Papadakis (heyitsnia) Ebonhide Junior Prefect. Nia is my newest and I am still feeling her out. She won't have much interaction with Jer, I don't think? She's a Serious Prefect and a pigtail puller with a big personality. She spends most of her free time in the music room.

Xavier - I think Jeremy would have sensed that in Xavier in his early years and acted on it. It would be interesting to navigate that relationship of theirs where they are trying to re-form something in light of Jeremy's supposedly changed behaviour. I do think we need to talk about exactly what it is that Jeremy did to hurt Xavier though, especially since I think it should have been bad enough for Xavier to still be somewhat tentative with Jeremy. I don't think he actively went out of his way to constantly pick on Xavier because at heart Jeremy isn't a bully no matter how angry he is. But he could definitely have done one or two pretty unforgivable things, like hurting someone/something Xavier cares about. Or whatever else you can come up with. I'm open to suggestions.

Dimi - Jeremy tends to leave sunny people to their own devices lol. Though he did blackmail Calvin at some point re: his crush on Ravi. I doubt that's knowledge that would be open to very many at all. But it could be a potential source of conflict if he ever finds out. Also since I'm apparently throwing Jeremy into the grotto party, I won't say that's not possible. But for Jeremy to actually start making out with a boy he would have to be very very very drunk first.

Nia - She's welcome to have taken points from him in the past? That is all I have at the moment. But if I think of more, I will let you know.

Zoey Valentine (potionz), a ribbonfin senior! calm, friendly, frankly super ribbonfinny w some sprinkles of rebellion. she plays chaser for ribbonfin + the gooseberry school team, is in a band w a couple of azurcrests, super super good at potions & starting up a lil business with a friend, kinda brainy/academic, annnnnnd also a wannabe seer (much to the dissatisfaction of her mother, though this has kind of fell to the wayside the last few months so it's all good). most recently she's been falling back into some overworking tendencies BUT since making the gooseberry team she's chiller & kinda way into that. obviously she and jeremy are same house/same year so they've interacted that way, but i can also offer her as a drinking buddy type/fellow obsessor over senior projects & library "resident" ♥ i think she and jeremy could bond over papers and boring pursuits taking over their liiiives

then there's Laurel Templeton, (kingofthefairies) -- she's an azurcrest senior, super into drama & theatre & costumes and clothing charms, dancer, nerdy lil bookworm. she's kinda just a silly, straightforward, cheery type who has a hard time taking anything seriously except her sincere interests, but that's been changing somewhat due to the Thing in the Woods (laurel's had a handful of experiences and is starting to realize that it might be a problem). she also has an identical twin in ribbonfin (ivy!!), which is fun, and a reason she'd know jeremy. ♥ they're also in a bunch of classes together which helps

last is Wilde (destructobot), who is mostly an aloof, pretentious dude w a competitive streak who likes to write ~secret poetry~ and do sick skateboard tricks/risk his life for the daredevil lulz. reserve keeper for the ebonhide team. hides insecurities under a prickly too-cool too-smart exterior, or at least that is his intention. is actually kind of a good friend if he likes you. so many dumb feelings. he and jeremy might run into eachother here and there. if jeremy ever needed a particular plant etc for healy stuff or experimental whatever, he'd be someone to talk to maybe.

Jaime (lupofiasco) who is an Azurcrest junior and has probably 0 overlap. He's really shitty at being responsible but is sort of trying and is really uncomfortable with the fact that he's bi so he's weird about boys sometimes. He's kinda dumb so technically is not that hard to give shit, but also he's relatively immune to too mean of stuff because he doesn't take stuff very hard most of the time. They're in Duelling together.

This journal, Hazel, who is a sophomore Coppertale special child who yells a lot about sports.

Garrett (garogletree) who is also a sophomore Coppertale because I suck. He's a prefect and a twin and has 0 things in common with Jeremy other than he's in fencing which is like the same thing with duelling sorta.

Asher - I honestly think Asher would probably be the person that knows most about Jeremy whether he likes it or not. After all they went to the same school together before GB. Jeremy was a rebel without a cause at the time, it wouldn't have crossed into bullying, but he was just pointlessly mean and rude to everyone about all the time. Which honestly isn't that much better. His roomies would probably have witnessed the change in the last year.

Jaime - Jeremy probably was mean to him before. Once or twice. :( But it's good if Jaime could have gotten past that.

Hazel - is ickle. Jeremy probably hadn't gotten to her yet with his meanness lol. It's a good thing.

Garrett - You're right, Jeremy wouldn't know him well. But there's always random interaction ftw!

okay i was gonna respond sooner but my work is going out of business today and today was a massive shit storm of trying to salvage whatever the fuck we want. less so for me, because i go there to work, i bring nothing with me, i have nothing to take. so i had to deal with that. but now i'm officially unemployed so i'm golden. i'm just gonna play video games for a month and then think about what i'm doing with my life and it's gonna be awesome.

Chris lives in Boston and didn't attend a wizarding school (details in his profile at this journal) before Gooseberry. But they could've been bros outside of school? Chris is kinda a dick but trying to be less of a dick. So I feel like he and Jeremy could've been great friends when they were younger, but Jeremy being a different brand of dick (chris doesn't support homewrecking, tho he also doesn't support that word) than Chris at gooseberry could've driven a wedge between them and they could've possibly spent a good chunk of time just riling eachother up because they know shit about eachother from having been friends and now they're both seniors and trying to be less dickish. idk if you're down with an ex best friends line?

I also have Olivia, at ... datasstho. And she's a junior prefect, but to be fair, she was a baby nonprefect during Jeremy's years of terror so she probably has no ill will for him. I mean, she probably wouldn't anyway. Olivia is a very forgiving prefect, and is probably chill with him.

And I have Teo, at thats-beautiful and he is a junior ribbonfin and super chill and literally nothing touches him so he probably talks to Jeremy like they're the best friends.

And then there's solomon at theniceboy. And he's a ebonhide sophomore and probably doesn't matter.

IDK THE DETAILS WOMAN, you know I never think about that shit. He will be from whatever region we need to make plot happen, dammit! So Jeremy was still a bright bubbly boy up until 12. Then things went downhill from there. I think Ryan and Jeremy are going to know each other, so I don't think it's a stretch for him to have known Chris as well. It's all about the timeline though. Jeremy wasn't so much involved with homewrecking as he was involved in being a general dick. If Chris knew about his history and used it against him though, that would have made the rift between them real and permanent. We probably need to talk it out properly then. Lol @ Teo. I think Jeremy prob thinks of him as 'that weird one' in his head. But he's chill with the ribbonfin young-uns, so he wouldn't be antagonistic towards the guy. I have a super quick rundown of my chars here which I never moved over to dreamwidth because I am... lazy... but here's some thoughts

IVY: Also a Ribblefibble senior. Up until this year she's been very straightlaced and rules-oriented, although after a mid-year nervous breakdown and a career switch she's been tentatively trying out rulebreaking to mixed effect. She probably doesn't approve of how he handles romantic relationships, but she's very non-confrontational so that wouldn't come up too much. She's also hard into second chances so previous bad behavior's not an issue if it's clear he's trying to change. She's @ duelled

CLEM: She's Vee's best friend and weirdly overprotective of her, so if the exes plotline sticks she won't be keen on him for that reason. She's also just... a huge fucking idiot. She's broken I think three bones this school year alone. But she's also kind of a reformed trouble kid who used to get in trouble for fighting a lot, but now she's on the straight and narrow bc she's the captain of the Gooseberry Quidditch team and doesn't want to lose that position. She's @ this account.

REECE: he's the Azurcrest Junior Prefect and his style of prefecting is very "can we please just get along with each other, so he might remember how Jeremy acted his sophomore year and disapprove of that. But he's pretty chill otherwise. He's @ peanutbuttercup

My other two, Ariadne Flint (untarnish) and Todd Skynner (quickbuck) are sophomores in different houses and probably don't interact with him all too much, but if you're struck by inspiration let me know!

Hii~~ Welcome! I'm Ali! I have a character list with """"quick"""" (lol what is brevity??) facts here. I tried to quickly update it because the last time I touched it was in the beginning of December OOPS.

So! I have three!

Levi (gdilevi) is a Senior Azurcrest. He's one of those loud and obnoxious popular kids who does shit for attention. He might also fall under the "Antagonistic Idiot" category in Jeremy's dislikes, but he's more on the level of an internet troll who tries to get a rise out of people for fun than someone who picks fights to prove they're the alpha. He does pick fights, though, because he loves banter. Before he started dating the Head Boy, he used to enjoy escalating banter into trying to get the other person to hit him because he has an unwholesome love of fist fighting. If Jeremy was the type to rise to bait when he was younger, maybe they could've had fisticuffs in the past? Levi was a late transfer and got here their sophomore year. He sees fighting as a bonding activity of sorts so that wouldn't mean he dislikes him at all! The meaner they are, the more fond he is tbh. :c He is Trash.

Ennis (sheepish) is a Junior Ribbonfin. He's a strange and socially awkward kid (he's improved a lot this year though!) who is very soft and very delicate and probably thinks Jeremy is super cool because he seems a lil ~edgy~.

Maggie (momblogger) is a Senior Ebonhide and the Head Girl. She would have been concerned about him during his rough-and-tumble phase as a Freshman and Sophomore and would probably dislike him if he wasn't a Ribbonfin because she's biased in favor of them. BUT if he has an ongoing antagonistic relationship with Calvin, she probably doesn't like him very much anyway. :C Calvin is her babyboo and she's distantly related to the Evercreeches (and technically most of the Sacred 28 Purebloods) but that's enough for her to feel protective over them.

Levi - LOL. I can see Jeremy getting into fistfights with Levi with a regularity. And then after "what do you mean I hate him? just because I mess his face up on a regular basis doesn't mean I have any personal feelings involved." okay but for real tho, I am a HUGE FAN OF LEVI. Guy's freaking hilarious and I think Jeremy low-key thinks Levi is pretty amazing too. Now that Jeremy's somewhat reformed it might be awks? IDEK. "hey let's get into a fight." "ugh but I am supposed to have stopped that. I have all these unreal expectations on me now"

Ennis - is a doll. Jeremy is cool with all the ribbonfin kiddies like I was telling others earlier. He has a soft spot for them because dude their ribbonfins and can literally do no wrong. (Except when you're Jeremy apparently)

Maggie - I don't think his blackmailing of Calvin was open knowledge, but if Calvin told Maggie about him, by all means have her bite his head off. I don't think he is still actively a jerk to Calvin now. But we'll see about the actual interaction in journals/ic/ooc when it comes up! :)

Hi Lena, welcome to the game! I'm Josie and I have four characters here:

Irene Lovelace (this journal), Ebonhide senior. She's pretty quiet and bookish and spends most of her time in the library (and if Jeremy ever has his music so loud that she can hear it despite the headphones, you can bet she'll ask him to turn it down). She's also in Archery and Duelling&Fencing with Jeremy. Irene would not have been impressed with his ~bad boy~ attitude, but she did the exchange programme and spent her sophomore year at Hogwarts and so Jeremy could have got a fresh start with her when she came back in junior year? OH AND Irene is also part of the Dead Mothers Club (hers passed away several months before she started at GB) although she Does Not Talk About It. But there's potential for another connection there!

Henrietta Gray (unregrettable), Azurcrest senior and Quidditch captain/Seeker. She likes parties, flirting and having fun, but can be pretty blunt. She's also into sports and the outdoors. Etta used to date, but this year she's been all about no-strings-attached hookups, so... hi Jeremy~

Coralee Wong (firecoral), Coppertale junior. She's a troll who loves stirring up trouble for the lulz, and is kind of a bitch although she tries to hide it under fake sweetness and passive aggression. She would've been there with popcorn (not literally, think of the calories) when Jeremy used to get into fights, and you can bet she egged him on for her own entertainment.

Pippa Nightingale (orangepip), Ribbonfin sophomore, Hogwarts exchange student new to Gooseberry since September. She's a vegan and a pacifist, and is on a so-far-unsuccessful mission to get herself a CUTE AMERICAN BOYFRIEND. This basically involves giggling and blushing around boys.

Irene - idon't think he's that obnoxious person that turns his music on so loud. But he could definitely have crashed in the library once or twice. If Irene would be the person to tell him to kindly go sleep in his cabin instead of the library lol. He was still pretty horrible start of junior year, so it's completely alright if he managed to piss her off in that time lol. Jeremy doesn't talk about his mom either. But you're right and it is a potential for connection, we just have to figure out how to use it since it's not going to naturally come up between them anytime soon lol.

Henrietta - Jeremy is a pro at no-strings. He cannot lie. ;)

Coralee - Lol. Jeremy didn't care for the audience. But he probably cares less for her atittude now. If you want her to be low key attempting to steer him back on the bad-boy route, that would be much appreciated!

Hi Lena! Welcome to the game~ I'm Katie and I a play a few characters:

Cecil Honeychurch - choneychurch
Cecil is a senior Azurcrest and the Head Boy. He's genuinely nice and empathetic (LET'S TALK ABOUT FEELINGS), friendly but easily embarrassed, and the among the most responsible and grounded jays one is likely to meet. He bakes a lot and is going to culinary school after graduation and has been known to spoil the other students with sweets and baked goods (especially Azurcrests). While he's got a reputation as a pushover, he will step in when troublemakers get out of line and he hates to see his peers treating each other badly. Though he realizes there's only so much he can do about that.

Apart from being seniors, these two have very little overlap, but Cecil makes an effort to know everyone at least a little. Aaand he probably knows Jeremy from his bad apple days too. He likely doesn't hold it against him, though, if he's generally turned things around and is supportive of his efforts to improve.

He's also very tall! Hello fellow tall person!

Casper Kim - casperkim
Casper is a junior Ebonhide, a prefect, and a member of the Ebnohide Quidditch team. He and Jeremy actually have a fair amount in common...in the worst ways possible. Casper's mom was an Auror and, after an encounter with a dark wizard, was cursed and spent most of the last eight years basically comatose. Casper grew up immensely angry as a result and has worked hard to control his temper via Quidditch, other physical activities, playing the drums, etc. Just anything that'll let him burn through his energy. While he's got a good heart, despises bullies, and can always be counted on to protect other people or do the right thing, he's got a very negative and very surly attitude that can cause problems. He also swears like a sailor.

His mother's health started declining in December and he had a major lapse (beat up another student, neglected taking care of himself so much that he fainted, etc.) in response, but has actually been doing better since then because of his friends. Unfortunately, his mother's condition continued to get worse and she finally passed away just last week. He's actually away for her funeral right now.

Aaaand that was all a very long way of saying that they have some shared experiences that could give them a reason to be close or could've just given them similar dispositions that make them clash. I don't know! Thoughts? Also, Casper is in Dueilng with Jeremy and is best friends with his roommate (Asher)! So there's that too~

Cole Moss - colemoss
Cole is a sophomore Ribbonfin that's a naturally gifted artist and a naturally gifted wizard (that excels despite putting effort into almost nothing academic), but he's also socially inept. He's not good at communicating and has a tendency to live in his own head...so he probably doesn't have much overlap with Jeremy apart from being in the same house. He's definitely around, though, and he's definitely Jeremy. Because he draws everyone.

Ty Hawkeswood - tyhawkeswood
Ty is a senior Coppertale and captain of the Cheer Squad! He's also extremely outgoing and energetic and may be a bit much for Jeremy. But don't worry, he's used to that. He's in archery with Jeremy and is probably friendly toward him unless (a) he responds very negatively to it or (b) his 'bad boy' days included picking on other kids. Ty got bullied in middle school (thanks, Casey!) and that puts him off real quick. While he's mostly confident enough to shrug off that sort of thing these days, he's definitely not impervious to having his feelings hurt by frequent criticism and insults. If they're on decent terms, though, he's happy to be a drinking buddy! He doesn't drink to get drunk necessarily, but he does drink to have ~fun~ and he usually overdoes it at the Grotto parties.

He's also dating Quinn Cunningham and spends a fair amount of time in the library because of her. Noooormally, though, he does so in his Animagus form (a squirrel), during which time he hands her highlighters or plays around on the table or sleeps in her hood. He's maybe a bit distracting from time to time.

Gavin Ogletree - gavinogletree
Gavin is a sophomore Ebonhide, twin brother of Garrett Ogletree, and younger brother of Tabitha Ogletree (who's in Jeremy's house and year!). He's a charismatic, slightly mischievous kid with a talent for music that...probably barely exists to Jeremy unless he's close to Tabitha. He can be a bit obnoxious about his family's wealth and he tends to find it fun to tease the slightly grumpy types, but he's generally a good guy unless you mess with his brother.

Cecil - Okay I think Cecil is like the one prefect (barring Ravi) that Jeremy ever felt bad acting up in front of. HOW CAN YOU DISAPPOINT THAT FACE. Even at his worst, Jeremy was running off to be evil where Cecil can't see because he can't handle that much puppy eyes. Also Jeremy is close to Ravi. So I think that at least makes them know each other, if not be entirely happy with each other lol. (Cecil more so than Jeremy, tbh)

Casper - poor bb. Yaaaaaas we have quite a bit there. Also Asher is like Jeremy's link to humanity/sanity sometimes so Casper being Asher's BFF, Jeremy would definitely have seen him around. I definitely want to take advantage of that similar circumstance to get some manly bonding over manpain happening. But the delicate thing is how. They both won't talk about it and I'm guessing Asher may not freely reveal anything either. It's got to be a truth spell or a verbal diarrhoea spell. One of the two lol. Maybe both. IDEK. Would drinking be enough to loosen Casper's lips?

Cole - Baby Ribbonfins are like sacred to Jeremy. He wouldn't have messed with Cole. <3

Ty - Jeremy doesn't drink to get drunk (anymore), so I think drinking buddies is good. Though Jeremy kind of has his childish on whenever it comes to Ty's roommate Chris. And Jeremy would have frowned at the squirrel in the library lol.

Gavin - He can attempt to tease Jeremy. I imagine that would be rather hilarious. He definitely knows Tabitha, but I don't necessarily know about close. He would probably have heard about the younger brothers tho probably.

Hi Lena! I'm Heather and I have four here!

This dude is William Chase, Azurcrest Soph. He's basically an adorable dork from Colorado, a sweetheart into muggle sports, kiiiiind of dating Frankie Noble (only insofar as they've been to TWO WHOLE DANCES together and admitted a mutual liking), and is one of the ridiculously bouncy kiddos from that dorm. He's mostly known to a few kids from the fact that he has a blended biracial family due to his being adopted and his parents had ZERO shame at the PTC event for going and talking to everyone.

I also have another sophomore, Jo May, who is the prefect for Ebonhide. She's a loud Italian American from NYC whose parents own a deli, and like other students from the area, is here on a scholarship and is pretty loud and would be sweary if not for the badge. She's both smart and street smart and is wary of people before opening her mouth... usually!

I have Dominic Tremblay, Coppertale junior prefect. He is kind of chilled out compared to other prefects, but he does believe in good, and is aiming to be an Auror. He's a proud Quebecois and speaks French when he can. His dad actually owns the chain of bars in Canada that act as bus stops for Gooseberry, so think Canadian Leaky Cauldrons only a little fancier! He's into social justice and therefore it's not so weird that he is sort-of-dating the equally open minded Ree Hobbs of the Azurcrest sophomore dorm.

Finally, the one who will have most relevance to him is Tabitha Ogletree! She's a senior Ribbonfin (cheer captain, friends with Vee), from serious financial privilege, older sister of Gavin and Garrett and the daughter of a state rep to MACUSA (like Cricket, who is a childhood friend, and Maggie also). She was dating Diego Morales last year until he cheated on her with one of her own damn roommates, and she still avoids speaking to him unless she has to - so she'll probably be pissed at Jeremy if he doesn't take that sort of behaviour seriously! However, she is now dating Nate Bird of Ebonhide and they're ridiculously adorable (got together after an Amortentia lesson revealed his smelled like her favourite peppermint lotion, this after they already attended a dance together as friends). Jeremy would know that Tabitha is talented in the arts (hence Ribbonfin Cheer being mostly known for their complex and well synchronised dance routines). She's a cellist and actress also - having played Helena in Midsummer Night's Dream this year, as well as attending Choir, she recently was accepted into the newly founded wizarding arm of the Julliard School, where she will be studying drama and music.

Hello and welcome to the game! I'm Jackie (and I'm late to the party, sorry!) and I've got three brats at the current moment:

Roxanne Barringer (uponawire) is a Junior from Coppertale. She was raised in what pretty much equates to Magic Traveling Circus and walks tightrope when she's not at school violently beating on things during Quidditch games. So, yeah. She's probably on the way to a quick and violent death one way or another.

The other two are small baby-children, but just in case: Frankie Noble (nobletoo) is an Azurcrest Sophomore. She's an enthusiastic little nerd who enjoys doodling on walls and reading comic books. And then this disaster is Sebastien Lacroix (professionalcorpse). He's a prefect and a Sophomore over in Ebonhide. He is, as mentioned previously, a disaster. (But he is very fond of Vee, so if the breakup line sticks, he would attempt to scowl. It won't be intimidating. But it'll be there.)

Roxie - Jeremy thinks Quidditch is vile so he only has "I told you so" for her. Buuuut if she ever has reason to like bleed in front of him, he may be forced to fix her up. It is like a conditioned reflex. HE CANNOT WALK AWAY. But yeah. He's a right ass the rest of the time probably.

The sophs are presh and Bash is hilarious. I <3 him. The breakup line has stuck and possibly is set and cast in stone by now lol. Jeremy just stuck his foot in his mouth again in Vee's journal. Please make Bash scowl at him. Jeremy will actively wonder what that facial expression is meant to be. :P
