Hello. It is Dana, again, the player of Anuhea. I decided to pick up a second. I like having an even number of characters for some reason. So Mackenzie Prince was born!

Mackenzie is born and raised in Canada as her mother Viola is from there. Where as, her other mom and birth mom is from the USA as she is Juliette Prince (she is a squib). She had a bit of a hippie like childhood her parents home schooled her and they didn't have a lot of rules. They just wanted to experience things and learn and grow from them. Viola is a fortune teller/seer and Juliette is a painter. Mackenzie herself is a hipster totally, she definitely says those awesome words of "Oh yeah I totally knew that band before they got popular". Music is a huge part of her life she learned to play guitar and piano as a kid. She listens to music a lot. Like she would definitely listen to it to fall asleep. She likes to be original and individual. Though as a bet she went to cheer tryouts. Look at that, she got on the team. Look at that she turned out she loves it. So, basically, she loves cheer and music. She has a larger class schedule than Anuhea and she does pretty average or above average in all of them. She also is not the most stereotypical Azurcrest but she has her moments. So she is Cheer Captain this year and is super stoked on life.

I am open for anything with her, so throw what you have at me and Mackenzie. Who I swear I will constantly spell McKenzie because it was a school I went too.

Hi Dana!! Addy is her roomie! Funnily enough, she has a weird deep seated loathing for hipsters. (THEY TAKE THEMSELVES SO SERIOUSLY AND THEIR MUSIC ISN'T COOL is her current argument)

Luckily Mackenzie doesn't seem to be the Serious Type,so it won't get in the way other than some gentle mocking of skinny jeans. She will be nice otherwise,promise!

She is like how rude! The music is cool and amazing. But I figure by now she has probably accepted Abby and that there will be some mocking coming her way.

O Captain! My Captain! Cecil and I are psyched to have a cheer captain just in time for tryouts. :) He has very little concept of hipsters and the 'before it was cool' sensibility, but likes his sweet and responsible housemate quite a lot just the same. He's pretty willing to listen to anything and actually likes the music they sing in Choir, though, so hopefully she won't judge his lack of taste too harshly.

Yes! So excited she is here in time for cheer captain. And yay I think she would like Ceil a lot! I don't think she will judge him too harshly, just be like hey you should listen to this music too! I think she likes most of her cheer team.

hey hey hey! you have a very long comment on that other post about family history but it didn't deal with the kids at all. regardless of where we go with that stuff, they're in the same year and share a few classes. he thinks the cheer squads are kind of scary. i think he thinks she's a good person and likes her enough, but i'm not sure if they have much opportunity to be pals. this could change depending on the family stuff, though; it could open the door for "who is this girl??????" "what is homeschooling like?????" and warnings of "grandma and grandpa told me to tell you that they found you a 'nice young man.'"

It was a good comment :) Mine was far shorter back. But I think they probably didn't have much chance prior to Gooseberry to really get to know each other. So now they have and she would love those warnings of the nice young man thing.

So, Diego is one of her cheerleaders, and they have a shared interest in music! Diego would love to talk shop with her on the music front, but Mackenzie will know that Diego is kind of... a fake hipster. Because he's actually a cloistered pureblood kid who discovered muggle music only 4-5 years ago, his scope of the history of music and who's well known or not is not great haha. He does have a bunch of indie bands he loves, though. But a lot of the time Mackenzie probably mentions some fact or band and he's CLUELESS.

Reid is in her year and is a rival Quidditch player, but I don't think he'd have any problems with Mackenzie. He might not talk to her often, but WHO KNOWS.

Calvin probably knows Mackenzie the least! He knows nothing about cool music or cheer honestly.

She would totally talk shop with him, and she will accept his fake hipsterness and be like we will find you more music. She is like I shall teach you things but sometimes I feel like she mentions things and if he doesn't know she is a little bummed.

Reid we can see I think she just sort of accepts him and doesn't have any problems.

Calvin you're not cool enough to know things about cool music and cheer gosh.

Ree hangs with the junior Azurcrests a lot so she is probably under Mackenzie's feet a lot.

Gabi...might know her through cheer?

And if she's in the music room a lot she and Isaiah are definitely familiar.

And happy to have Isaiah and Mackenzie familiar. Plus I do believe she is Kurt's cousin.

I don't think there'll be much overlap between Pippa and Mackenzie, but Pippa also knows what it was like to be homeschooled by parents who are sort of hippies, so there's that!

Yay, Azurcrests! Frank's in Mackenzie's house, though she's in the year under her. But she's totally a card-carrying member of the Homeschooled Witches Club too. Less with the hippies, though. Tragically.
