What? Dana is back again. Yes, yes she is. I have sorted out some real life things faster than I thought I would. Full-time break from rp was good. To make a clean start I decided to bring in a brand new character. My schedule has changed a fair bit since I was here last, aka not as much time as before so only going to have Bianca for sure. I have two jobs now, because I am crazy. Work my regular 8-4:17 government office job and then on Friday - Sunday I will be an assistant manager at a movie theatre. So, if I am at the office job I can rp a bit. If I am at theatre, I can sparingly reply to e-mails unless I am on break. Wee. So ultimately, what this means is I am most readily available Monday - Thursday in the evenings, and an ever changing schedule Friday - Sunday. Safe to say, if things happen on a Friday, I will be slow as I usually do double shift.

Okay, enough about my babble. Let's introduce my new Ribbonfin Sophomore. It seems there will be a lot of new characters coming because oh my god look at that holds page.

Bianca Dubois! She will respond to B more than she probably would to be Bianca, but I will always call her Bianca. Anyway, Bianca is 15, Ribbonfin Sophmore. She is French Canadian, and is fluent in French and English but sometimes she may phrase things oddly in English. She attended a French-speaking Magical school in Quebec. She is definitely one of those annoying people who doesn't need to try that hard to learn, but she does study. She will ALWAYS be late, she does not mean to disrespect she just has zero concept of time it just slips away from her. Bianca is a hot mess, she looks disorganized and her area of the cabin is a disaster sorry cabin mates. She is a good dueller, and likes the outdoors. She squeaks in her assignments at the last minute. She might snooze in class. All this aside, she is actually a pretty good friend, loyal, and a great listener. She would give up sleep to help a friend out and that is huge. She likes to avoid confrontation for the most part, unless she feels like she is absolutely right and then she is a stubborn pain the ass. If you want a full breakdown of her read her application.

Alright enough from me. Would love any and all plot you wish to throw at me and Bianca. Friends would be good, as well as people who don't like her.

Oh and should perhaps say, she is muggleborn...haha.

You already know Cricket and she'll, of course, be sweet to Bianca. Cricket loves Pippa, so I imagine she pops by the Sophomore Ribbonfin cabin from time to time to deliver treats, decorate, stuff like that.

This journal is my new character, Jesse McBride. He's the Senior Azurcrest prefect and a big dorky bro. He is super gifted in math/science/spellcraft areas and his senior project is essentially inventing teleportation for muggles. He absolutely does not portray himself as intelligent though and comes across as an annoying, irreverent party bro. I don't foresee these two interacting a whole ton, but we can try!

So, the ones most relevant to Bianca: Micah's a fellow sophomore! He's friendly to everyone, and hangs out at Ribbonfin all the time because of his bff Cole ~~and so he can stalk Calvin~~. They're pretty different in temperament, but if Bianca can tolerate Micah's talking-a-mile-a-minute never-serious-about-anything pep then Micah will be very accepting of her messiness and desire to just nap everywhere like a cat.

Ravi's overprotective of the Ribbonfin sophomores, and probably worries extra about Bianca as a fellow muggleborn. He might fuss over whether or not she's done her homework or if she's in class on time :(((

I think she will find Micah exhausting because they are so different. But I think find him amusing st the same time. /9 I think they will be an interesting mix and dynamic.

So the most obvious one is Essie! She is basically friendly with all of the Sophomores! Also, she's decided Pippa is her BFFL so she is a common presence in the Ribbonfin cabin. Essie is still into art and Boys and saying lots of things in ALL CAPS. Would Bianca be interested in Boy Talk with Essie?

Otherwise.. Ursula and Sun-mi are both Ribbonfins, though Junior/Senior respectively. Sun-mi is her other senior prefect and is more Cool Big Sister than overprotective. She likes to encourage all the little fishies to follow their dreams and such~~~

Essie she will talk boys with you on her quest to figure out if she likes boys or not. She might also talk drawing as Bianca likes to doodle and draw. So I think friends on the Essie and B front.

She would like the encouragement to follow her dreams to sleep lol. I think she will like the older Fins.

So, Calvin's her year/house mate, and he's as prickly as ever but he's better with girls and Ribbonfins so Bianca will get a relatively mellow Calvin. He doesn't get her lack of organization at all, though, and is irritated by people for whom things come easily.

Rafael will periodically be a prefect to gently scold her if she's ever late to class or sleeping somewhere she shouldn't be, but otherwise he'd have no reason to be hard on her.

Kenzie is my new character!

princeprincess She's a mean girl mashed together with a class clown, so she's likely to tease Bianca over her oddness. However, picking on someone who just rolls over and takes it is not much fun, so Bianca might slip under her radar a lot.

And Reid and Diego probably don't interact with her much!

I love more reason to interact with Calvin. I think they might butt heads a bit but I also think she would look out for him.

Boy prefects prefecting her but she will survive.

We can see how Kenzie and Bianca go.

Hi Dana! I'm Callie. Welcome (back)!

Vee here is also a Junior Ebonhide. She is "Perky overachiever with an inability to say no or comprehend failure." Vee joins every club, takes every class (or she did before she realized that wasn't realistic, and it still makes her sad she can't tbh), and is generally someone who likes to keep busy and do well and be perfect because that's important. She's friendly with everyone, which can be annoying or overwhelming. But she'll be nice to Bianca regardless!

Susana Velasquez will, however (

gottaplay) Coppertale Sophomore. Quidditch obsessed, grew up in a wealthy family but was always ignored/overlooked. She can be a bit guarded and have attitude, but really she's a sweet girl who just likes being noticed. Quidditch makes her feel special and important so she is super into it. They're both Sophomores, and Ana isn't unfriendly. She won't get attitude if Bianca doesn't, but isn't super open at first either.

Marilyn Fairchild (

notmonroe) Junior Ribbonfin. She plays Quidditch, but grew up in a literal zoo (parents are a magizoologist and a dragon tamer so they lived outdoors on reserves and moved around a lot) Think Mean Girls, because she's super sweet and naive with social things, but got taken advantage of by a mean clique who told her she was pretty and could use it. However, she's not that anymore, but she still likes girly things now and tries not to be too high maintenance. Super sweet and innocent to everyone, so she'll be nice to Bianca.

Ryan Hertz (

glasshalfdoomed) Senior Azurcrest. He had a rough childhood (dad abused him when he found out he had magic because he thought he was "evil", mom never in the picture) So he basically now doesn't think he deserves to be happy or have good things. But since finding out his mom is in Azkaban, he decided he didn't want to be like either parent so pretends to be an aloof yet charismatic enigmatic bad boy, when really he wishes he could be his doome cookie reclusive self. He isn't overly extroverted, but isn't mean. BUT. He is from France and speaks French fluently so. THEY CAN TALK IN FRENCH IF YOU WANT. lol He's hard to get close to, but won't ignore or be mean to anyone.

Levi is lazy af and hates waking up before noon, so there's solidarity there. Levi likes everyone so he'll probably like her by default and act chummy toward her.

Maggie thinks she's such a nice girl with so much potential that she's not using to her full advantage :^( If only she put in a little more effort... Also, Maggie's Canadian and speaks textbook French (very formal, obviously learned and not natively spoken), so they have that in common.

Then Ennis is a Junior Ribbonfin and also lives in Canada, but he doesn't speak French. He's originally from New Zealand. He probably finds her peaceful and doesn't have any reason not to like her, so we'll just see how they interact?

So, I'm pretty sure we discussed most of mine and Biana, but Anuhea would very much like Bianca and they need to be friends. They are way similar in some ways (like the procrastination bad way). I believe we decided that she and Vic will become friends that help each other bc shes a good listener and Vic will help motivate with school work. Lachlan I don't know but he loves everyone so they can at least be friendly.

valentinez, a ribbonfin senior. calm, friendly, frankly super ribbonfinny w some sprinkles of rebellion. she plays chaser for her quidditch team, is in a band w a couple of azurcrests, super super good at potions, kinda brainy/academic, annnnnnd also a wannabe seer (much to the dissatisfaction of her mother). most recently she's been falling back into some overworking tendencies & getting quietly disillusioned w things ;-; she tends to get along w pretty much everyone cos she's so chill ? also Z and B how cute is that

then there's Laurel Templeton,

laaurel -- she's an azurcrest senior, super into drama & theatre & costumes and clothing charms, dancer, nerdy lil bookworm. she's kinda just a silly, straightforward, cheery type who thinks everything is funny and has a hard time taking anything seriously except her sincere interests. she also has an identical twin in ribbonfin, which is fun. she's generally pretty easy to get along with too i think, if a bit of a weirdo. she feels B re: zero concept of time and messiness -- i actually think they'd get along super well c:

destructobot. ebonhide junior. he's an aloof, pretentious lil dude w a competitive streak who likes to write ~secret poetry~ and do sick skateboard tricks/risk his life for the daredevil lulz. reserve keeper for the ebonhide team. hides insecurities under a prickly too-cool too-smart exterior, or at least that's what he hopes. is actually kind of a good friend if he likes you. uhhhhh i kinda just picked wilde up so am still gettin used to him so it's hard to say if he gets along w people quite ;-; i do think he probably finds bianca kinda cute and since she's so chill it's probably hard to immediately dislike her. they're also in dueling & OE together so some overlap :D

This journal is Avery Davenport - Ribbonfin Junior! Aside from being in the same house, Avery is ALSO in Dueling/Fencing & Outdoor Exploration so these two have a lot in common and a lot of chances to interact. Personality wise they are similar, though Avery is a bit more organized and calm. To their cores though they are both good, kindhearted people and I feel would get along really well!

Over at

sneakoscoped I have Penelope Vargas. She's an introverted, somewhat rude Coppertale senior with a holier-then-thou complex. She's not a bully by any means and hates bullying, but she's incredibly closed off. They don't have any classes or extracurriculars together, so I don't see them interacting much =/

Pippa is a roommate!!! Friends, y/y? Pippa isn't the most organised person either, and so will be of zero use if Bianca actually wants to get anywhere on time. But on the positive side, it means she doesn't care if Bianca makes a mess in the cabin! Mess is homely!

Coralee and Etta won't have much overlap with Bianca, although Etta is in OE with her.

And I've picked up a new character, Irene Lovelace (

interlacing)! She's an Ebonhide Senior, is in Duelling & Fencing with Bianca, and is pretty quiet and bookish until you get to know her. She's super interested in languages, though, so she might try and practise her French on Bianca!
