• Senior, Azurcrest, Prefect (And he's actually dedicated, okay!)
  
• Raised in South Buffalo in an intensely Irish Catholic neighborhood, even though his maternal grandmother is OBVI Polish and his paternal grandmother is lying about the fact that she is OBVI of Sephardic Jewish descent
  
• He's a huge geek and loves blending muggle and magical understandings of science. He's extremely gifted in science/math/hermeticism (but I'm not, so don't ask me about it)
  
• If I am playing him right, he SHOULD be charming in a goofy, funny way :) He is very self-assured and laidback.
  
• His Senior Project is his life. He is essentially attempting to create apparition for muggles (or teleportation). This is a project he has been working on since the 5th grade. This looks like two "Apparition Machines," one of which is located at Gooseberry and one at his home in Buffalo.
  
• He travels A LOT, mostly because apparition doesn't work inside Gooseberry limits and he has to leave the boundaries to test his machines. He also leaves frequently to accept grant and cash prizes, since his work is self-funded. Plus, he's gotta travel to conduct negotiations with MACUSA reps about potentially breaking the International Statute of Secrecy with his project. International Man of Mystery.
  
• Personality wise, he's a bro. Nerd bro.
  
• A fixture at Grotto parties - where he is always a little bit out of control
  
• While he has cut back since his sophomore year, Jesse is definitely a booze hound. He's super high functioning, but if your characters know him really well (roommates, primarily), they should be worried about him :(
  
• He's obsessed with Quinn... uh, in a cute way??
  
  
  IMPORTANT!: He has a band (SUCK IT, DIEGO ;* ) called the Canadian Ballerinas. It has a kind of Strokes-esque vibe. He plays the drums. If your character wants in on this action, let me know. If no one wants to volunteer, he will be aggressively recruiting soon.

Avery likely won't know him all that well, given that they are in different houses and years. Though if he goes to Outdoor Club a bit, she will know him from that! And she's super friendly so she would be nice to him.


Penny, though, Penny says BRING IT ON. She ALWAYS shows up to Gaming Club and she will FIGHT HIM in Super Smash Bros and she LOVES VIDEO GAMES MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF. She also likes nerdiness in other ways like science and stuff even if she's not that great at it and if she has decided his personality is awesomely genuine than she may actually tolerate his existence pretty well :D

"oh god" is my fav reaction to Jesse so far. That's what I was going for.

I mean, Jesse is always gonna try to scam on his Azurgirls, but ultimately is harmless and knows that he is. I see lots of goofy teasing in their future.

Z can be a great nerd friend. Unfortunately, Aleena the player doesn't know what Hermeticism means, so it will have to off screen dorking. Also, he is going to constantly try to convince her to switch bands (ily Diego, just kidding, not rly)

AW YEAH JESSE

Diego loves him, and is constantly amazed by how brilliant he is. Diego is also the most unsatisfying rival band leader. And he's really emotional AS YOU MIGHT HAVE GATHERED but he'll worry about Jesse's drinking and his "chill" responses to stress. On the other hand, Diego has no spine and also drinks a lot, and when he starts drinking all of his self-control goes out the window (hi Anuhea and Chris) so he's in no state to keep an eye on Jesse.

Rafael probably... can't stand him. Mostly because he's still sore about Jesse's obsession with Quinn and he holds grudges. When Jesse was made prefect he was like UGHHH THAT GUY? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? On the other hand, he's not going to deny Jesse's smart and capable in class. Just... ugh. UGH. THAT GUY.

Reid proooobably doesn't know him much, and neither will Calvin. SORRY, THEY'RE LOSERS ANYWAY.

Late to this party, BUT HERE WE GO.

Cecil loves Jesse and sees him as a good friend/roommate/person, an amazingly smart guy, and just generally fun to be around. That said, he might be the roommate that gives Cecil the most to worry about (that drinking, Jess; that obsession with Quinn, Jess; that never talking about how you actually feel, Jess) and he might fuss over him a little more than Jesse actually wants. But it really is just because he cares. Also, he's 100% contributing to that 'dad bod in the making' with all his baking.

Casper ...hates him. And not just because he hits on Katya (though, that doesn't help). He's really just not a fan of loud and obnoxious party boys, no matter how smart they are, and will frequently tell him to shut the hell up. He probably sees Jesse more than he wants to because they're both prefects. Yaaay~ He actually likes Jesse's band better than Diego's (because it's a bit more rock) but will never admit it. Because of the aforementioned hate.

Cole is fine with him? But I doubt they really know each other at all unless you've got ideas?

Ty thinks Jesse is fuuuuun! I doubt that they're close at all, but Ty knows that Jesse is good for a party and can drink him under the table and can make him laugh his ass off, so that's enough for him. He may be aware that Rafael dislikes him, though, and if push comes to shove he'll always side with his buddy over Jesse. SORRY MAN.
