Hi, guys! It's Brittany with my new kid, Dahlia Hale.

Dahlia is a Muggleborn Ebonhide senior, Seeker for the team, and from NYC. She's only been at Gooseberry since her junior year, previously she went to Covenstead for three years and Ilvermorny (Horned Serpent) for her first two years of school. She was sent to Gooseberry in hopes that a structured, positive learning environment would help to calm her down and would have a positive effect on her school performance. I'm pretty bad at intros so I've done a list.

- She's Jewish and from a small family, her parents are both career obsessed and have pretty high positions in their respective careers, her dad is pretty much the Jewish Bernard Black. She also has an older brother who despite only being three years older than her has watched over and protected her since they were kids. Since her parents were always working she and her brother spent most of the time they weren't at school/activities with their maternal grandparents. Dahlia is the first magical person to be born in the Hale family for five generations.

- Was extremely wary of purebloods until she went to Covenstead and became more accustomed to the magical world, now she's not so wary of them but she still hates the whole blood status thing.

- Got sent to Gooseberry because she was always skipping school when she was at Covenstead and was on the verge of being kicked out until her school counselor and former art teacher decided to bring it to her parents' attention. It was suggested that they enroll her at Gooseberry which they did without her knowledge.

- Is a bit of an asshole and somewhat anti-social. She's always had trouble making friends but has gotten a bit better at it as she's grown older. She's still grumpy, though.

- Is very artistic and can always be seen either drawing/painting/doing something that involves art. She's also a multi-instrumentalist and can play the piano, guitar, bass, and drums. Her artistic talent is what got her into the school, though the donation from her parents also helped.

- Pretty much a hipster from Brooklyn, though don't ever call her that because she'll probably punch you in the face. She's a city girl and tends to complain a lot about the bathroom/sleeping situation and not having the internet. She's also extremely uncomfortable being around horses.

- She's a chain smoker and pretty much lives off of bad food, cigarettes, and black coffee.

- Is always looking for volunteers to help her practice using charms with art since that's a big part of her senior project.

Here is her full app! I'm looking for a few friends for her and people who she wanted to come back to Gooseberry for. Maybe some people she got along with when she was briefly at Ilvermorny. People who don't like her since she can be a downer and somewhat difficult to get along with. And maybe a few exes?

So, basically she likes everything that Cricket doesn't understand, and doesn't like everything Cricket identifies with. WHAT'S WRONG WITH HORSES, BRO!?!

And, yet! She is Cricket's dorm mate and there is no escaping her love. Try it! JUST TRY IT

She doesn't trust them! THEY'RE SO SHIFTY WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?! This also applies to goats but mostly because their eyes are so freaky.

She's had enough time to get used to Cricket by now so she probably just rolls her eyes. Also, she's probably asked Cricket to model for one of her paintings since she almost has that whole Waterhouse look.

YAY EBONHIDE QUIDDITCH!! Here is your captain, who lives in new Jersey and will affectionately mock your Brooklyn ways til the day he dies.

BUT he will really like her; he loves his entire grumpy team.

She will definitely be mocking your ridiculous accent, Leo! She likes him and how he kind of reminds her of home, but she'll still pretend to be grumpy around him. Because appearances.

SO. Rafael and Dahlia might not get along so well, but he is really fond of a lot of those senior Ebonhides. I guess we'll need to see how they interact, but considering Rafael is an unabashed authoritarian, there might be some conflict!

Diego... it depends? They're in music together, and Diego does take his music very seriously. But he's also flighty and a pureblood, so that might count against him. However, he's almost definitely put out a lot of effort to win her over. If she can tolerate him, Diego's available as a friend, past boyfriend and/or current hookup option. If she finds him annoying, well, he's just going to have to KEEP TRYING to charm her.

Reid and Dahlia might struggle to interact since they're both antisocial. However, he'll know of her through Quidditch, and last year he was her rival Seeker. Reid is an uh-may-zing flier, but had no focus or drive and it cost him the spot so now he's a Chaser.

Aaaand Calvin and Dahlia are unlikely to cross paths much, if ever. Buuuut maybe they'll end up talking on the journals. WHO KNOWS.

She'll probably roll her eyes at him a lot and tell him to chill, but she won't be too antagonistic unless something really bothers her.

She's way more chill about the pureblood thing now since she's been in the magical world for a couple of years now. But yeah, that was mostly because one of the first history books she read for her research had been about the wars in the UK and blood prejudice, so it freaked her eleven-year-old mind out. I don't think she would be too annoyed with him, she likes that he also loves music and that he takes it seriously. But if he tries too hard to charm her she'll definitely roll her eyes at him.

She definitely knows you, Reid! And she's a good flier, especially for being slightly out of practice at the beginning of her junior year, but she's way better at actually finding the snitch. So she probably really appreciated the fact that Reid wasn't focused enough.

HEY HEY HEY I have all the stuff for you

Clementine's on the Ebonhide team with her. She bugs all her teammates a LOT because Quidditch is pretty much the only extracirricular she invests time in and she's super dedicated. I don't know how well they'd get along, and Clementine has secretly always kinda wanted to be the seeker on the team. Clem's the kind of person who would think someone like Dahlia was SUPER COOL and REBELLIOUS like JAMES DEAN though so I can see her kind of looking up to her for that reason lmao

Ivy's (

iviie) a senior Ribbonfin and even though I think they'd definitely clash personality-wise they have some things in common. Ivy really likes art and painting specifically but felt pushed to pursue more ~academic~ things due to family pressure and is now floundering cause she's not really happy doing what she's doing. So I think she's probably little envious of Dahlia for having the confidence to pursue art. They're in charms, history of magic, magical aesthetics and archery club together so they definitely have some overlap.

And Reece! (

thingamabobbs) They don't have much in common but they did overlap two years at Covenstead, so there's that!

Dahlia's fond of Clem and will think of her as sort of a younger sister? She probably drags her out to practice flying and stuff.

I think she and Ivy could be friends, they have enough in common and Ivy's personality is different enough that she could sort of balance Dahlia out? Dahlia will probably try to encourage her to do what makes her happy and not what her parents want.

Dahlia definitely remembers you, Reece, though she probably doesn't really interact with you much.

sooo for once - I think she could be bros with Chris? I mean, Chris is a bit of an asshole and perpetually grumpy too? But could also be an ex? Could've been the grumpiest couple possible? idk I just know that they could be friends, since he's down to chill in silence and doesn't get uncomfortable easily.

Olivia probably doesn't have a great deal to do with her depending on how Dahlia feels about her? Olivia is pretty upbeat and vocal but she's also super understanding and open so idk

And solomon is off in the distance somewhere.

Solomon's a sophomore but he IS a chaser on the ebonhide quidditch team so he's no longer in the distance lol

He is kinda like a fucking puppy tho? Like he's mature and calm and chill so that could appeal to her? But he's also a marshmellow who's super understanding and just wants to share his random facts with people

So, I think they could be exes, and with gems like this (http://i.imgur.com/5DXBwV3.jpg), they should most definitely be friends. She will insist that he let her sketch him and maybe use him for one of her magical portraits?

She probably doesn't mind Olivia, but won't go out of her way to seek her out or anything though she'll definitely talk to her over the journals

She knows of Solomon from the team and as that kid who knows a whole bunch of random shit. She appreciates that he's chill and likes him

A+ for city girls with flower names and artistic tendencies! And their also even the same height, which has nothing to do with anything but is still fun!

At the very least, Iris will have been friendly to her and probably chatted with her about music with some frequency.

OKAY SO Chloe likes a lot of the same things (she likes art, senior project involves magical art), she hates not having the internet, doesn't like the outdoors, and horses kind of freak her out, she lives on junk food. She also a muggleborn and went to Ilvermorny (Wampus). BUT she is also awkward and probably intimidated by grumpy people? So idk?

Cameron is also in Ebonhide, though a junior. He is largely immune to grumpiness and will have tried to befriend her, whether she likes him or not. He's mom is a famous musician, and he aspires to be one too, so they share an interest in music.

Tess is also a senior and a muggleborn, and they share some classes!

Chloe is like her long lost sister or something! Dahlia likes her and probably talks art and video games and stuff with her

She's probably like this kid is too nice, but she'll happily talk music with him

i think she and Z would get along in particular, as they've got some arty interests in common. ♥ i could see an unrequited teeny crush on z's part, too.

Etta says HELLO FELLOW SEEKER! She wouldn't be bothered by Dahlia's attitude but probably doesn't seek her out as a friend either?

Coralee will probably clash with Dahlia, since she definitely believes in ~pureblood superiority~. They're in Archery together.

Aaaand I don't think Pippa will have much overlap with her.
