Hello darlings! I (Emma 2.0) am already back with my third character because apparently I'm very inspired by this game. You can read up on my other two here. Now let's make this quick because I'm running off to my parents for free food soon.

Xavier Rosales -- Ribbonfin senior. Originally went to a hippie-dippie magical school called Joshua Tree that makes Gooseberry look like a military school. Half-blood. Only child. Hails from Marfa, Texas, which is home to a rather large magical art community. Involved in Gaming, LARP, and (surprisingly) Dueling. Really embarrassed he is an indecisive Ribbonfin stereotype. His father is a famous magical artist, his mother runs a large art gallery, and he can't draw a flower to save his life. Read all about him (plus magical Marfa/Joshua Tree) here!

And yes! Friendly good good. Some ribbonfins not so keen on her since she slept with Diego while Tabitha was dating him but she thought they broke up... which doesn't make it much better but you know.

I mean he tries not to judge here.

Okay so Chris is also a senior so they obvs know each other and they share a handful of classes and the duelling club and also the gaming club. If Xavier can forgive Chris's general disposition they'd prolly get along ok I think?

So, Diego and Xavier share some classes, and actually it's very likely Xavier's parents know Diego's parents. Diego's mother (Ofelia Morales) is a very wealthy and successful art dealer, and his step-mother (Johanna Tran) is an artist. They're based out of Utah, which for wizards isn't that far from Texas, haha. Maybe Diego and Xavier have kind of met on and off throughout their childhoods? Aside from that they don't have a lot in common, but Diego is universally friendly.

Reid and Xavier proooobably won't interact a lot, alas!

Calvin is a sophomore Ribbonfin, though! He's kiiiind of gentler with fellow Ribbonfins, and will get snippy with outsiders who are unkind to them. He also has a big ol' crush on Ravi Dhaliwal, Xavier's roommate, so he sometimes stops by their cabin with excuses to talk to Ravi. Honestly that whole dorm is ridiculously handsome and Calvin doesn't know what to do about it.

OKAY LET'S GO WITH THE ART CONNECTION THING I LIKE IT.

zoey valentine, ribbonfin senior. she's a chaser on the team, v good at potions, in a band, wants to ~break free~ of her mother's expectations and be a ~seer~. friendly, calm. c: also a bit of a house stereotype. i think she'd love him!

I have decided they are friends yes.

Katya is also in Occlumency! Even if she's a different year so at the very least they'd have that in common.

oh boy kurt's a year below in ribbonfin. his mom is a wizardy watercolour artiste with a fairly (Y) reputation. maybe xavier and kurt also know each other from being dragged to Gallery Openings and Art Functions and Other Things That Might Be Boring?

Yes! They can definitely know each other from those things.

Henrietta is in a few classes with him! People who can't make decisions are one of her pet hates, haha, so she'll either get really frustrated with Xavier or just make a decision for him like RIGHT, IT'S DONE, MOVING ON. Iiiiif you wanted them to have a bigger connection I'm up for them having dated for a few months at some point? Or Het is always up for random makeout sessions, lol.

And Pippa probably won't have much overlap, although they are in the same house.
