HI, NEW FRIENDS! I'm Ali and my CDJ is aeris and has a big ol' about me page there so I'll spare you. I noticed a lot of you guys are on tumblr so I'll go ahead and link mine here.

I have Levi Kramer here, a senior Azurcrest and a Chaser on the Quid team. He was previously in Thunderbird at Ilvermorny, where he also played Chaser, and came to Gooseberry on a sports scholarship his sophomore year.

bio: the tl;dr edition

From a Wizarding island that's part of California's channel islands, wayyy off the coast of Los Angeles area. That makes him really suited for outdoor activities, especially swimming and hiking, but he also can't stand Utah's heat because he's used to consistent year-round temperatures of 70-50 degrees. His clothes usually have cooling charms on them because he's a baby.

His mom's a magizoologist and his dad's a musician and he's very much interested in both. He just wants to pet animals and play on the dumb instruments he brought with him. He's taking Magizoology and his advanced class is in Music. He also plays the keyboard/piano as well as providing backup vocals in Diego Morales's band.

In addition to Quid, his extracurriculars also include LARP and Drama Club. (Detailed a bit more in his additional facts section in his bio.) He's interested in starting an informal Quodpot team because QUODPOT RULES, but he's worried that might interfere with his Quidditch performance if he sustains any injuries from exploding Quods. That miiiight not stop him from doing the thing anyway, though.

PEOPLE FROM ILVERMORNY, C'MERE. They might've known each other at their old school and he was known as a show-off Chaser for Thunderbird which is why he (maybe unfairly) got the scholarship in the first place. There were other Chasers more talented at scoring goals, but he was a crowd favorite because he pulled stunts to try to make the games more entertaining to watch. To him, it's not really about winning as much as making sure everyone has a good time. Fairly, he's great at his role or else he wouldn't have been considered for a scholarship, but he's no Quidditch prodigy. Quidditch is a mix of sport and entertainment, in his opinion, and nobody would get so invested in a team if they were boring to watch.

LARP friends! Let's make storylines for our characters' characters. Levi currently plays a halfling bard named Mister Periwinkle, even though he's 6'3.

Tutors? Smart friends? He needs to maintain his grades in order to keep his scholarship and he needs someone to have helped him stay on track through the years. This could have even carried over from Ilvermorny, if they attended.

We've discussed Diego and Levi a little and THEY ARE GOING TO BE FUN. He's fine with Levi tagging along on his senior project with no complaints, and... generally probably lets Levi get away with whatever. He thinks Levi is SO FUN, and they will make BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TOGETHER. He was probably at least present for Levi's amateur body modification, standing in the background looking mortified. SORRY HE TOLD YOU HE THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA, BUDDY. IT SURE SOUNDED LIKE IT AT THE TIME.

Reid Wainwright, junior Coppertale chaser, was actually on Levi's team in Ilvermorny! Reid is... awkward and icy, bad with words, extremely deadpan, lazy, easy to embarrass. As a player he's gifted, buuuut not very motivated by winning, and wouldn't have minded Levi's showboating. He might be slightly more inclined to like Levi than he ordinarily would be since they were on a team together. HE'S NEGATIVE AMOUNTS OF FUN AT A PARTY, THOUGH.

Aaaand Calvin, sophomore Ribbonfin, is a Hogwarts exchange student out of Slytherin. He's whiny and unpleasant and has a bad attitude, but he'd probably be good for bickering/bantering. He's easy to bait but gets mean when banter turns into an argument. He's currently avoiding Philippa or he'd be in there acting snippy on behalf of his floppy fish house.

I love how they've already lost 15 points for their house and it's only the second day. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR HOUSE POINTS TO FALL INTO THE NEGATIVES? LET'S FIND OUT.

Levi honestly doesn't mind a stick-in-the-mud and gets that some people don't like parties, but he's still going to invite him to them anyway to make him feel included and just in case he changes his mind. He's actually pretty perceptive toward other people's feelings, but the catch is that some of the time he just doesn't care so he'll tread all over them. But if he considered Reid any sort of friend, and he probably would since they were teammates, he'd just be like, "It's okay, you do you, buddy" toward 110% of the weird anti-social things he does. Since they've known each other for years, Levi gets what Reid's about and probably wouldn't hassle him about it outside of playful teasing.

MMM, HE'S GONNA LOVE PICKIN FIGHTS WITH CALVIN. Once Levi sees how easily Calvin takes that first bite of bait, he's gonna realize he's found a goldmine. I CAN'T WAIT.

This is Regan Hobbs, aka Ree. She's a sophomore Azurcrest, beater, prefect, artistgirl. She was ALSO Thunderbird in a previous life, so basically she and Levi totally, totally know each other. She's outgoing as hell, unflaggingly honest, has tattoos and technicolor hair and is pouting that he wouldn't have a fling with a freshman last year, JERK. FRIENDS THO.

I also have Isaiah Covington icovington who is a fellow senior in Ribbonfin. He's a (classical) music enthusiast and the student accompanist to the choir. Otherwise he is VERY introverted and people make him feel weird so. He's basically just the silent kid from the big-name family. IDK IDK. Levi probably scares him, but then most Azurcrests do. Then again he's friendly with Diego so IDK I SAY AGAIN IDK.

Levi is an accompanist for the drama club, so their paths might've crossed if the two clubs did any production collabs-- probably for the holidays, because that's what my schools always did. Tabitha is the same year and was in Pukwudgie! She's all about arts and dance/cheer though so I'm afraid she couldn't tutor. She'd have adored him but then there's the awkward Diego thing XD

I thiiiink Dom and Levi might actually get along on the social activism front because SURPRISE, for all his fucking around, Levi actually cares a lot about social injustice because of his own experiences and observations. HOWEVER he's pretty much Chaotic Good, with emphasis on the chaotic part, and even though he's mostly harmless on his own, he can be a real shitass when egged on and fed enough attention and that might be frustrating for a more straight-laced student? idkidk

And it's probably just festered over the summer and he hasn't talked to either of them about The Diego Thing™ and he's probably gonna be chummy af toward both of them and try to play that dangerous game of neutrality that never works out in the end.

Yes! They're both in his band and Levi plays the keyboard (and also the theremin if it's requested, but the piano/keyboard is more suited for their genre.) He totally would've needed help with potions his Sophomore year if she was willing, but he was like NOPE and opted out of it for his Junior and Senior year. Maybe that's how they met and got to know each other? Potions class?

ALSO, YEAH, HE WOULD'VE ASKED FOR A POTION. Especially when his tattoo turned nasty. She probably, quite literally, saved his skin.

I just have Ursula de Luca here and she is split between thinking Levi is far too childish and thinking he is a great source of entertainment with all the baiting (bring out the popcorn!). She's a year behind him and in Ribbonfin so they wouldn't have much day-to-day interaction, BUT, she is joining LARP this year. So she can have everyone call her a princess. Yes, she's terrible.

First there's this girl Sylla, who is a year below and in Ebonhide and creepy little intense overachiever who likes death and forbidden magic and morbid fairy tales on loan from Hogwarts. Probably not much there, but she will watch Levi just in case she sees him start another fight. She likes watching boys beat eachother up, okay, don't even question it~ basically she's if Guillermo Del Toro directed a Disney princess movie. That's basically all I should say to keep the rambling at a minimum.

And then Holden Bright, over at blinkah, junior Ribbonfin and the team seeker, rumor is he's only here because a professional scout pays off all the teachers, since that's apparently his only talent. He tries to avoid drama and conflict but always gets sucked into it because he's just such an impressionable doormat of a jock. Please torment him into being involved in shit. Please. Um, so despite Levi's most recent run-in with Ravi, I think they could be friends-ish? Or in any case, Ravi really wants to be friends with him, since they're both LARPers, but if Levi's gonna be an ass, then prefect's gotta prefect. Ravi is relatively easygoing—he gives lots of chances and is very forgiving, but that won't mean much when Levi doesn't know when to stop, lol. Anyway, friends-ish miiiight work because Ravi is a THOUSAND TIMES MORE FUN in LARP than he is outside of it. Like when he's not playing Lawful Good, he's probably completely down with Mister Periwinkle's bardic shenanigans, but then he takes off the elf ears and becomes the guy who'll scold Levi and dock points.

(Also btw I am actually planning to arrange stuff for the kids in LARP, I've just been caught up in game launch plot and mod things, ahhhh. They could totally be friends even while Ravi continuously docks house points. Levi's pretty easygoing and makes friends easily ESPECIALLY when people want to be his friend, and he doesn't mind the point docking because he knows he's a lil shit and he knows that's what happens. Point docking is a meaningless punishment to him and sometimes it's fun to see how many he can rack up in one go while trying to avoid serious offenses that would land him in detention. Also, he probably thinks it's fun to ruffle Ravi's feathers and get a reaction out of him-- SORRY, RAVI.

Like, I could picture them being the best of pals during a party and then end the night trying to fight each other. They could totally have an on-off fling that's super casual and mixed with a FWB type situation and we can see how it goes? He likes casual because he likes to flirt and fool around with other people and doesn't want the guilt that comes with having temptations while in a committed relationship. Because he's loyal and he'll stay loyal, but if he keeps things strictly on a casual level where all parties know it's casual, then he's not tied down to one person and he's free to give in to any and all temptations.

Levi would prob find his grumpiness and resting bitch face charming and Chris knocking in square in the face with a bludger is what could've initially drawn Levi to him. Then after that, he got coy little finger-waggles and winkwonks every time they played against each other and Levi probably approached him their Junior year to try to initiate something. Unless Chris would approach him before then, but Levi is bold and dgaf and isn't afraid of rejection so he'd def go for it after testing the waters and trying to gauge whether he was into guys or not.

And Levi would love the shit out of his cat omg, he's so fluffy and he'd like pressing on those big ol toe beans.

We can do the tutoring thing as well for this semester? He'd need help practicing charms and he thinks History of Magic is super interesting and he loves Merrill, but he doesn't take his essays very seriously and sometimes he turns in straight-up historical fanfiction.

I think these two could be friendly, Iris wants to be a Magizoologist, so she's taking Magizoology this year! She's also new this year, coming from England, and is the daughter of Kingsley Shacklebolt, current Minister of Magic!

She's a bit guarded, takes her a while to warm up to people, so she's careful about how much personal information she gives out. She can be a steamroller, she's passionate about her interests. She can be polite/friendly, just takes her time to warm up to people. She also prefers a small close group of friends compared to being friends with everyone.

Hi Ali, I'm Josie! Sorry this reply is so late, I'm only just getting around to catching up on posts (and there are SO MANY to catch up on omg). Anyway, I have two characters here:

Pippa Nightingale, Ribbonfin sophomore, new to Gooseberry from Hogwarts. She and Levi have already interacted a little bit in her journal where she asked him not to be so meeeeeean (lol) so somehow I don't see these two being BFFs, how strange.

BUT. My other girl, Henrietta Gray (unregrettable) is an Azurcrest senior and WHAT A COINCIDENCE she just happens to be Quidditch captain too! HI LEVI. What are your thoughts on these two?? Het won't mind him not being a Quidditch prodigy as long as he prioritises Quidditch pretty highly, and I think she definitely enjoyed his stunts in previous years. (Maybe this will change now she's more invested in winning? Idk!) Het's sister Theo was captain for the last two years so Het will joke that hopefully Levi should be used to taking orders from a Captain Gray. But ahhh these two are definitely friends y/y??

omg i am so sorry, i JUST saw this. i think i had checked the notif email in the morning before going back to sleep and never saw it while conscious.

BUT YEAH YEAH YEAH!! definitely friends! despite his showboating, he DOES prioritize quidditch and a lot of the reason he tries not to get detention is because he absolutely does not want to miss quid practice. he's here on sports scholarship and he jokes that he's just here to play quid until he graduates to professional and so his grades don't matter.
